I am only worried about the progress of Tunnel Boring machines as they frequently break down & parts take a long time to replace. You didn't mention what is the daily progress of Boring (I am told 3m/day, but that seems too low). Transportation to exit of tunnels (Aanmukkala) of machinery, is time-consuming. At Kollamvagu end workers are needed to be transported by boats (several miles) to the head of tunnels that is in a Tiger reserve.

Good project. At the time of searching places for A.P. capital , I was having an idea exactly similar to this. Construct such a reservoier on grand scale which can supply water for a big city. Feed water into this reservoir from Srisailam, just as now. Down the reservoir at a suitable place construct our capital city. It supose happens all around are hillocks and government lands. Then allot plots at nominal cost to our gunine state, district wise quata applicants, with conditions. Condition is one should construct house on his own in a short time as per government plan. Government will construct all roads and sewage etc. Any one who fail to construct house in stipulated time, that citizen will loose his allotment. One can add further to this. By doing so a new city will come up in no time. The said place will become a central reignon of the state with mostly large government land. We can avoid acquisition of costly cultivated land. And such a city will expand to the regions of Guntur and Prakasam and also become close to Rayalaseema. Even now also consturct a small city , down range to Nallamala reservoir and establish all Gov. wings what we want establish at Vizag,Kurnool etc. As such a place is close to Amaravathi and inbetween place also develop into a city.

Thanks for ur observations bro. - mainly these projects r intended to capture flood water ( if it comes) - yes, if rivers r linked , these projects can be utilized 100% - there is a proposal to send water from polavaram RMC- prakasam barrage- new lifts n canals- sagar canal . If this is happened, water can be diverted from prakasam barrage to nallamala sagar reservoir (veligonda project)

I think only few villages of KK MItla mandal are not covered under ayukat, I was told that probably our village is one among them.
