Spectra Cannondale on the Road l 7th ANEXO/CAMS Women's CiCLE Classic 2023

On the Road - B-ROLL l The 7th Edition of the Women's CiCLE Classic on Sunday 26th March 2023 was spectacular. This was Team Spectra Cannondale's first proper race of the season !
On the 25th Josie Knight and Lucy Nelson did a recce with Dan Barnes, Josie Nelson (from Team Coop Hitec, also part of our CX team) and Libby Bell (Team GardenShed Ribble Verge Sport). It was a sunny yet windy day until the heavens opened just as we were packing up to leave.
Race Day ! Josie, Lucy and Isabel warmed up on the Wahoo ROLLRs before the race start. With 98 starters to the race, the field was smashed to pieces immediately. The race eventually split into multiple groups on the road with Josie and Isabel in the second group until the last lap. Josie finished 10th, Isabel 29th and unfortunately Lucy was pulled by the comms in her first ever Prem.
