I like to fill out the monthly view at the completion of the month and add in all the highlights from everyday with cute stickers! And if nothing eventful happened, I'll throw in an inspiring quote! Its fun to look back at the whole month and see a huge overview! 😊
I use two monthly spreads in my planner for each month. I have a classic HP one, with a traditional planning layout (events, bills to pay, birthdays, appointments), and a mini HP one, where I track how many hours I spend each day at work, because I have a flexible schedule. Both monthly spreads live in the same set of classic discs, so I can carry them around more easily.
I use it for my month at a glance for bills, birthdays, events, places to go, and special occasions. 🤗 I didn’t realize that the box with the cut out on the top left fits perfectly in the monthly layout to display the date! Thanks for sharing that. 😉

Love the look. I use my monthly for my family’s meals for the month, monthly exercise challenge & daily step count. So, I don’t do a lot of decorating but I place stickers and washi down after I pen my monthly.

I use my monthly as a traditional calendar - appointments, special dates, etc. But have just bought a mini to use for that so I can take it with me. Not sure now what my classic monthly will be. Probably some duplication, but hoping for more of a memory keeper idea.
