Thanks for this video on WordPress security. Definitely agree that all WordPress sites need constant attention, such as updating of core files and plugins. Many website owners are not aware of security issues unless they have someone monitoring their website, hosting, etc. We always suggest our services before we start building it for a client.

An easy tip I learnt is to have a hard to guess admin username, and then get wordfence to block anyone who tries to log in using the typical usernames, such as "admin", "administrator", your name, the site's name...
I sometimes get blocked login attempts from people trying to get in with these users, especially the "admin" one. Super easy to do, and gives them 2 things to figure out instead of one.

Do you recommend removing old themes ie Twenty Twenty-One Twenty Twenty-Two if not using them?

Yup, for sure. Once you have Thrive Theme Builder installed, you can get rid of the WordPress default themes if you're not using them for anything. Excellent question. - Tony

The tips regarding 2 factor authentication are great, but how can I integrate this with Thrive Login Forms as well? Currently I have a plugin activated, but there it only works via the admin login and not via the created login where customers can register or log in.

Hi there Danny, which plugin are you using?
I know you can set this up with Wordfence for all users, not just admins.
      Best, Tony

Rise was a perfect theme for me. I spent a long time building my site with it. And rebuilding it with Thrive Theme Builder will be time-consuming. A big headache. If only the theme creator hadn't stopped maintaining it. Well, I expect to spend a few days going through my site once I switch. I've been putting it off for a couple of years, but now I have to bite the bullet and lose the time. Ho hum. To be fair it's Thrive's only major mis-step as far as I'm concerned.

You won't have to rebuild everything. All of your pages will remain intact when you switch over to a new theme. All you really need to do is customize your theme blocks (header, footer...)

I have 2 wp websites with thrive themes and thrive architect and can't enter either of them. I get the following notice: "WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Thrive Architect." They even gave me an emergency site to enter but it didn't work. I went to Hostgator to see if they could help solve it and they can't. Any suggestions?
