You are in a fantastic place Ritchie , I have been to Nepal three times and it’s one of my favourite countries , great people , fantastic scenery and nice food . But I hope you have packed your Imodium mate , lol .
Hi Bob, it is beautifully here isn’t it. Don’t mention Imodium lol I’m on antibiotics now from Pakistan, if I can’t see them cooking it clean I’m not eating it. Thanks mate
Looking forward to more. Looks interestin`. Can`t wait to see the mountains!
Thanks very much David, I’ll soon be making my way there mate.
You could probably get some good hashish there😎
I get offered it everywhere here Stevie🤣
Looks like it’s got that Thailand sois feel to it I fact it looks a lot cleaner then Thai streets
It is very clean Warwick, I think it’s got its own character with the tight high buildings and different businesses on each of the levels, I know what you mean though. It’s a really nice area.
@@ParkinsonRaw after I watched more of the video it’s absolutely nothing like the streets in Thailand it looks more European with its bricks backa shops restaurants clothes gifts etc looks really pleasant
Hi richy, nice vlogs 🎉
Thank you mate🇳🇵❤️👌🏻
Keep trucking dude.
Thank you very much George.
I love Katmandu. Great food you have to try the buffalo momos. I look forward to your next vlog enjoy mate . Great foot stop I have on myself and a cricket Nepal shirt. ♥️🇳🇵
Thanks Wayne, it is class here mate❤️🇳🇵. I’ll keep an eye out for the buffalo one’s, although I am watching my stomach still at the minute. I’m on antibiotics.
Congratulations on reaching 4000 so happy for you. Im in Tunisia at the minute, and an eye opener cows heads hung up outside shops 😢 Wfi is terrible so will catch up what ive missed when im home. Like the look of Nepal i get what people say about Pakistan but a lot of us had no idea until we've seen your vlogs what the real Pakistan is like. I can see your still not 100% well stay safe😊
Thank you June, i hope you’re both having a lovely holiday despite the cows heads🤣. Nepal is amazing I’m really enjoying it here😊
Pokhara is a good place to visit I stayed at lakeside it was a nice spot you can take a trek from there poon hill is one trek not long 2 day trek around 3100 plus metres longer treks like Everest and Annapurna are long treks and expensive
Chitwan national park is worth going to it’s closer to the border with India
In Kathmandu lots to do including a flight over Everest in a plane with larger windows so you have a good view. Many temples in Kathmandu dubar square, boudhanath temple and pashupatinath temple you can watch the holy men burning dead bodies very interesting place
Eat the momos and chow mein and dahl bat the local dishes of Nepal so much to do enjoy
Actually nothing is expencive in Nepal really, You mention many good places but Nagarkot is worth to go to too
Thanks for the info Stevie, there is a few of them I’ve got planned but I have to watch my budget with the likes of base camp and flights etc.
@@ParkinsonRaw I wanna add Nagarkot too, just outside Kathmandu, a very chill place with the most amazing view of the himalayans
Glad your out of Pakistan Richy bro keep up the excellent work we all watching anf hopefully more subscribers will grow so you can travel to more islands and more 👍
Thanks Paul, I’m loving Nepal🇳🇵👌🏻
Looks like an awesome place. I'm a little jealous 😁
I am loving it mate👍🏻😊
Awesome stuff Richie mate I went there many years ago I did the hike from there that goes through all the little villages a lot less hassle than Pakistan mate
Thanks Dave, I am loving it mate. I’ve just arrived in a village and it’s so peaceful, the vlog will be on the weekend.
Hi Richy, looks nice there, i nearly visited Nepal many years ago but never made it sadly, i was in Goa with a friend and he went to Pokara and ended up making it to Everest base camp. Nepal looks like a place that will test your legs when you go into the mountains. cheers, nice vlog.
Thanks Billy, I can’t wait to get further into the country.
I followed your youtube after coming in nepal❤❤❤
Thank you🇳🇵❤️
Pokhara is a beautiful and biggest city on nepal
We hope u will be there ❤
Thank you, I will be visiting Pokhara🇳🇵❤️
Richy doesn’t know where he is going next. He has to research which airport has the longest walk to the city center.😊
Haha I do love a stroll from the airport, this one was a cake walk👍🏻😊
You made it my man to Nepal it's a beautiful country
Thanks Stephen, it is awesome here mate.
This looks like a nice place to be 👍
It is beautiful mate👌🏻
Congrats on the Magic 4K Richy.
Thank you very much mate.
Kathmandu looks so much better than Pakistan Richy looks more chilled, I’ve never been but it looks more built up than I’d imagined, looking forward to seeing your accommodation regards Steve.👍👍👍
Thanks Steve, yes Kathmandu is much bigger than I thought. My accommodation’s will be on tomorrow’s vlog mate. It’s poles apart from Pakistan here although I would like to see the north there👌🏻👍🏻
Congrats on the 4K mate, 👍🇦🇺
Thank you Jack👌🏻👍🏻🇦🇺🏴
Yup😅
Nepal looks lovely and friendly, 100times better then Pakistan 😂😂
It is poles apart mate, very clean streets👌🏻
Most places are. 😄
How dare you. 😮
@@tradeladder146 Easy. The evidence of Richies last video is overwelming.
It's a sheet hole.
@@PeterBrenAbsolutely agree, why would anybody want to visit there 😮
Thanks Richy you are the man when I can help you I will, looks great Nepal.
Thank you Karl, I am really enjoying it here mate.
You will get more subscriber here if you put more content continuously...also please visit bhaktapur city..it give you back to hundreds years ago vibes. Even I'm nepali I feel different when I visit there. So it's my suggestion visit bhaktapur durbar square and a whole city...you will loved it. Thanks me later😁
Thank you for the advice, I am still recovering in Kathmandu from food poisoning I got in Pakistan and I don’t want to spend too much time here. I will be back to see more of the City and surrounding places before I leave Nepal.👍🏻
@@ParkinsonRaw
Wise move,champ..pace yer self😊
Looks like you've had a load lifted from your shoulders? Glad you got away from that 'last place'! * Nepali's are good people! Gurkhas are exceptional!
Thanks Seni I’m really enjoying it, yes we back home have a lot to thank the Gurkhas for. Amazing soldiers
Befriended a few Gurkhas when I was working in the Falkland Islands for Laings back in the late 80s, they are very polite friendly people.
I am glad you can spread your wings in the mountains 👍🏼
Thank you Ade👌🏻
Cheers Richy...interesting. Stay safe.
Thanks Robin.
Nice to see traditional stuff. Keep up the good content mate. Cheap north face jacket. Mine is the same. £200!😂😂 keep safe pal
🤣yeah but yours is the real deal Jonny🤣thanks mate👌🏻👍🏻
Come pokhara 😊 and wear Nepal cricket jersy also❤
@@beatsgamers454 I will be coming to Pokhara soon but I only have the football jersey👍🏻🇳🇵❤️
I worked as a Forest Officer in Nepal 99 -03. Pokhara is a good place to visit was in my work area. Further Mid West u have Jonsom where u have nice views of the Annapunna Mountains. Pokhara is well worth 👌 the visit
Must of being amazing getting paid to be somewhere like that Dave. I’ll definitely be going to Pokhara, thanks.
When you go to Pokhara don't forget to go sarangkot for morning macchapuchre views @@ParkinsonRaw
looks mental there richy la!,very built up
It has got a lot of character Rich, it’s great mate I’m really enjoying it
Hi Ritchie. Nepal already looks 100 times more appealing than Pakistan. You sound happier as well.
Hi Michael, it is I’m loving it here. Thanks mate.
I truly think your so happy to be out of Pakistan Richy
I am mate but also to be here, this has always been on my bucket list since I climbed my first mountain and was hooked years ago.
Hello Richie. I used to live in Nepal. Avoid Thamel its a tourist trap nothing more. Head to Asaam Chowk just up the road for real market experience. Also head to Durbar square. It cost a couple of quid for tourists but its well worth it. Swayabunath temple on the ring road is also worth visiting but watch out for the monkeys they can get aggressive if you have food. Have a good one
Thanks Tony, I’ve got all of them marked down for my return journey mate.
Sometimes you don’t want to appear rude and not acknowledge people but sometimes if you do you don’t get rid of the people.
Very true mate, there’s times in the street when I have to stop and say please I have said many times I don’t want to buy anything to stop them following me. One followed me in a cafe yesterday and stood waiting will I was ordering a cuppa.
Nepal looks a million times better than Pakistan.
It chalk and cheese mate, I’m loving it.
hi Rich great vid I want to be there so bad . One thing I have noticed is I never see any senior mobility scooters. and it seems strange to see all the english signs
😂😂
Hi Dan, yes the scooters struggle here never mind mobility lol. As you can imagine it’s a very much toured country, I assume that’s the reason. I really enjoying it I can’t wait to see more mate.
Thanks! Get a brew and a shot of bitters, mate ,and wash that filthy dust out 😊
Thank you very much Robert, my cough has finally cleared from Pakistan😊
A little off topic richy but whats kanchanburi like in november rain wise,i want to see hell fire pass, ive done a day trip from bangkok before to the cemetry & bridge but its 2 rushed,i want to spend a few days there
Hi mate, I think it will be ok to be honest. It’s right at the end of rainy season so you have a much better chance then.
Nepal can be quite expensive compared to other south asian countries.
But still, dont fall for scams. Nepal iss secure, the police does actually take security of tourists very seriously. If you record a tape of a person with their face in it scamming you inside Kathmandu(in public places or transport) and it gets shared to the police, they will likely get the person investigated. But its not really effective in shops. Those guys just charge whatever they want. So you should just go on one of those nepali ecommerce websites(one is daraz) and check the real price.
Its just better to avoid it.
Thank you that’s really good information.
Get yourself to shimla Richy, a place I hope to visit sometime 🙏😊🇬🇧
Thanks Martin, hopefully I’ll make to to India soon mate🙏🏻👌🏻🇬🇧
Now we're cooking pal.
It’s class mate, such a beautiful country.
Yup😊
Thanks!
Thank you Andrew, so much appreciated mate.
Have a good time in Kathmandu
You should visit Bhaktapur 15 km from thamel
Thank you
I'd buy the clothes there.
Surely they aren't "original" but the apparel gimmick that the "big brands" pull out is ludicrous.
I bought a "fake" North Sports down jacket that's lasted me for 7 years now.
One thing I'd suggest is to look for stitching... Sometimes they can be little wanky, but then again, if it ain't too hideous,
it will basically do the job.
Heard there is a construction/expansion spree going on there now. So I wouldn't be surprised of the dusty/wobbly/slippery roads.
Thanks mate that’s very true the likes of North Face etc doesn’t really appeal to me. The problem I have is I travel extremely lightly.
There is a lot of construction and improvements with the infrastructure here which is good to see. With the past troubles here with earthquakes it’s inspiring to see the people keep on fighting with a smile on their face.
Have a great time.
You've landed there in the perfect time, just as monsoon's coming to an end and the rise of "peak tourist season".
Best wishes mate.
Nepal is 41th poorest country in the world. Not below 15.
Thanks I don’t know where I seen that, it might of being from the past.
Well done mate
Thanks mate
Yessss
It’s class here mate
Liked.
Thanks mate.
Night & day, blue sky as well, like when you leave Colne & enter Yorkshire. 😁 Subs passed 4k too, enjoy yourself.
Thank you Mark, it is beautiful here mate👍🏻
Love the vibes mate, scrap the haters... 🩵
Thanks Dan, I do find the haters funny but the odd time when it’s ridiculous it’s just go away😊👍🏻
Dont give the street kids crackers or money or anything, they will trade it 200m away for glue to get f-ed up.. I did that misstace while having a tea in Thamel, 20 min later i saw the kid he almost couldent walk and really was in a bad shape.. I felt so bad but i didnt know
That’s awful to hear, thanks for the heads up mate
@@ParkinsonRaw Yeah they are all dirty and broken clothes, terrible to se so obv you wanna help... but 3 years ago when i last visit Nepal i saw just a few of them in 3 month.. I know a Danish organisation is doing a great job to help them so maybe most of them got help.. Have fun in Nepal, land of magic
Baskin robins ice cream I hardly see those anymore.
I can’t remember seeing it, loads of places sell nice ice?cream here.
I think I've got ptsd just watching your Pakistan videos. You've definitely lost weight in that hell hole. Nepal looks 10 times better. Looks like a cross between Thailand and India. Hope you rest and spend enough time building strength to continue your adventure
Thanks Martin, I’m currently on antibiotics getting myself right I want to make the most of being here.
Nepal is not below 15 mate. And they don't add remittances which is the largest source of household income.
I read that somewhere mate but it could go being from the past, thank you.
You’re clearly looking happier, get in those mountains
I am loving it here thanks Tommy
4K❤
Loving it mate❤️🇳🇵
What a difference from Pakistan looking forward to See the Rest of Nepal x thanks
Thank you Chintana, it is poles apart I’m really enjoying it👍🏻
Wow awesome stress free compared to Pakistan😊
It is like chalk and cheese Darren, thanks mate😎
You look more relaxed mate.
I am very much thanks Jimbo.
It's true..
don't spend more time in kathmandu instead go to pokhara and mountains to inhale fresh air of Himalayas. Air quality is poor kATHMANDU
Nah bro nowadays Pokhara is getting so much polluted roads are shit garbage are thrown everywhere🤮
@@gorkhey1234 but better than ktm
@@NJ-vv8dl at least Kathmandu tourist spots are clean but Pokhara🤮
@@gorkhey1234 I don't know that much about Pokhara but I have seen tourist vlogs they prefer pokhara .
@@gorkhey1234 let's see what he thinks
Actually North Face is widely overpriced.
They are sold as a fashion item. It's a status product.
That’s usually the case Peter with mass produced companies overpricing.
How many teeth do you have?
You get what you pay for.
Not always, sometimes things are not as they seem. Some people will try to tell you things are real and then you’re massively overpaying.
pokhara>>> catmandu
Thank you, I am looking forward to Pokhara
What a difference a place makes Richy. Would I visit Pakistan? Not on your nelly! Shame as it’s a beautiful country but not a travel destination as it is. I’ve always wanted to visit Burma but the civil war and political strife makes it impossible. Safe travels
Pakistan was hard work George although I would like to go back in the future but straight to the north in the mountains. Thanks mate
Ahhh,Richy. You cannot barter someone down to a price you like and then walk away mate...maybe come back later...you cannot do that.
I was getting an idea of the prices Simon, I’d only just arrived. I wouldn’t normally.
You should bargain in price specially if you are buying clothes in Nepal .
Yes, bargain if you want, but then buy. But Richie was just testing the waters.
