After 10 months of being out of work I applied for my dream job that I was unqualified for thinking there was no way they'd consider me. I was applying for a few positions every day and by then I'd applied for everything in the state but needed something to document for the unemployment office. I was hired, with a sign on bonus and amazing pay. They'd been looking for 2 years to fill the position.
Thanks all. This was a job that I first wanted way back in middle school. We had to write up a resume and apply to some job you thought you might want to do when older. We had mock interviews and the resumes were sent off to the real companies, a few kids were hired for 1 day internships. I never got a response back on mine but then 25 years later I was working for that company doing that job. :)

This has always bummed me so much. In my country (Germany) there are so many local channels who do beauty videos or let's plays with a much narrower theoretical reach because they're in German, and yet the have millions of subscribers. Meanwhile, Craig was around 400k. So glad he finally reached 1mio now.
Same, I was here since the days of the Banjo Smile and the Clone Machine. It was bumming me out how low his views seemed to go. But I'm happy for him picking himself back up, still going forward, still doing what he loves, not getting in trouble with the beauty community, and having a stable family life.

Honestly, this is great advice for pretty much any field you want to go into. Especially the part of doing it because you like it, if only because people probably won't like your work much at first until you start getting good at it. Actually enjoying it will help you get through it. Then once it becomes a job it can sometimes be less fun, but you're so good at it that you can just... Get it done. There it is. The secret sauce to life.
