When you already know how to finish the game's bosses per level you just shoot them on their blind spots, regardless of difficulty. Literally shot in the dark for the enemies
¿Could someone help me out of a list of 2.5 soot'em ups in these type of rear 3d perspective?. it does not matter the system, whether it is arcade or ps1 or 2 or dreamcast or saturn or whatever: I know these ones in no specific order: 1)Xevious 3d/G, 2) Zero Gunner, 3) ZG 2, 4)Raystorm, 5) raycrisis. 6)Raiden IV, 7)raiden V. someone know any one else? please help me out make a long list of alternatives
If you're just talking about 2d shmups that use 3D graphics but still with an overhead perspective, pretty much all of the Naomi verts were like that. Under Defeat, Triggerheart Exelica, technically even Karous and Radirgy, though those are cell-shaded so they have a bit of a different aesthetic.
you are very good at this...I am surprised to note that the dreamcast game has zero story of any kind also, just like the switch version (which I guess must be a direct port upsampled). At least ZG1 had a basic storyline and ending so you knew what the fighting was about. I wish they had added something to the switch version, oh well. I just completed it on the default settings, normal difficulty, and I thought i'd check some longplays to see if the higher difficulties unlocked an ending but they don't, so I won't bother playing it again. The only difference I can see between normal to arcade is the second loop. Cheers
@@valentinoluckyd4566 I don't think B7 is an alien because of its uncanny resemblance to Raiden, the Japanese god of thunder and lightning. If you read the story (only available in the Dreamcast release's manual which was JP only) it talks about how the enemy you are fighting against is apparently an Asian conglomerate that has developed weather control tech and plans to use it to subvert the entire world to their will. The final stage (Aerial Capital) just so happens to literally manipulate the weather itself the instant the final boss is released.
One of the best shooter for the Dreamcast, no doubt.
THE best shooter for DC!
Diego Meneghello, wow, you forget about ICARUGA :)
IKaruga is great too!
I recently just found out about this game, its so fun.
Something about being able to turn your chopper around while firing is satisfying
Great job on Zero Gunner 2. Psikyo makes the most unusual shmups.
always loved games likes these. Glad I subscribed
Pro Player...good job..
Insane. Thanks for sharing
Man you got the wall nuts I'm gonna sub
The word expert comes to mind!!!
Timeless Classic 😎
This is like the mobile game Strikers 1945 II where every boss has their transformation
In fact almost every Psikyo shmup boss transforms!
This is more like Strikers 1945 because of the transformation of the bosses.

ok i take out the raiden games as they are just poor 2.5d perspective shooters and I add 6) PSX Retro Force.

Awesome game too bad it is hard to get nowadays.
A Switch version has been announced!
bubicus Wait? Zero Gunner 2 will have on Switch, are you sure?
It was never common to begin with, I've only seen it available once and it was at a bowling alley that closed down a few years ago.
@@bryansabater9562 Absolutely, Zero Gunner 2 is now available on the Psikyo Collection Vol. 3, you can get it on PlayAsia.
