Mr Poophead not sure you can really compare them considering how JT transitioned into a small ball/stretch 4. Grant Hill defo wouldn’t be able to play there

As a Laker fan I could talk to you for an hour about how important Sasha Vujacic was and for a week about Andrew Bynum. It's a lot that could be discussed still imo
Celtics didn't even had a chance to workout with josh jackson. His agent blocked celtics from him because they didn't think JJ will not get enough playing time.
That suns story is getting blown out of proportion due to the lack of basketball news. The debate between josh jackson and jayson tatum was alot closer than people remember back in 2017. Also, all this nonsense and national coverage about a story when jayson tatum wasnt even available at the suns 4th pick anyway. The story SHOULD be how did they miss on drafting dearron fox, donavon mitchell, lauri, jon issac, john collins, etc.
There is no defending the picks of Alex Len No.5, Dragan Bender No.4, Marquese Chriss(No 8) (traded Bogdan bogdanovic and picks for)..... Josh Jackson N0.4... Im a suns fan but they litterally do some stuff that makes me cringe and wanna cry just about every year. If we didnt LUCK out with Booker, and hit the #1 overall pick with Ayton we would have nothing. And i mean the jury is still out on whether or not Ayton will be a all-star caliber player or not.... So 10 years of absolute garbage basketball teams, and we nearly got nothing to show for it. As a Suns fan I say a little prayer every day that Devin Booker won't request a trade..........

Bruce Bowen would be a perfect guy for the Rockets. He was one on the best perimeter defenders of all time and all he did offensively was spot up in the corner and knock down threes.
Jordan hitting .202 is pretty damn impressive to me. Not playing for 15 years and in his first year just two leagues away from the majors he hit .202 is pretty damn good. The average batting average in MLB at the time was .270 so its not like he was terribly far off (and yes I know obviously its not against the same competition) but for his first year back playing baseball and hes already performing that well I think thats very impressive. And yea ik thats only 2 out of 10 times but in baseball getting on base just 3 out of 10 times is considered great. I think given a few years with his work ethic he could have possible mad a splash in the majors.
Rawley Fear no it’s not....200 for anybody actually trying to be a professional baseball player will never be acceptable. Don’t try and tell any random guy to go hit a AA pitcher MJ was a professional baseball player
@@jeremyroach9389 Tim Kirkjian (ESPN) went on record yesterday saying he believes Jordan would have made major league roster at some point. I'll remind you that this was after 16 years off from baseball. He also drive in runs and stole a ton of bases. He had 51 RBI and 30 steals in 127 games. That's amazing for just stepping right into a professional sport. I'm not saying he was some baseball star, but his stint in AA was an amazing feat, one that 99.999 of people couldn't muster.

@@blazesbrother5140 well yeah all the MJ stuff is overhyped right now. But if you read the articles coming from those who surrounded MJ during his baseball days, they can't believe he just walked away from basketball and performed that well. For perspective, think about college baseball. Many talented college players couldn't do what Jordan did in AA. It's reasonable to think that he would have improved dramatically within 2-3 years, too. Of course, his age would have worked a little against him. Kirkjian is one of the few ESPN guys that you can really trust to keep it real, too. He compared Jordan's baseball stint to Tebow. JT is obviously much better, but if you watched Josh Jackson in college he showed a lot of talent. If you compare them going into the draft Jackson had more defensive upside, probably more athleticism, and he was a better passer and ball handler
Suns made a huge mistake not drafting Trae Young over Ayton, D Book and T Young would have had better trajectory early on than the splash bro’s in GS and u see what they accomplished
Sam Diamond what about Covington tho? Guys like him and Capela are good young defenders on great contracts. It’s all about how you build these execs are retarded
I let the suns off for not drafting Luka, as next to no one had him going 1 in any mock draft and I really the whole discussion was should he go 2nd. It felt like Ayton was consensus 1 when in hindsight and for me even then definitely wasn’t. It just seemed like the suns and the NBA was scared of drafting too high on a guy from Europe
When someone tells me what to do without asking i do the opposite. But for some people it works, and i can see how it could be nice to have someone guide you.
