Arthur is more assertive despite having a knife in his chest, he even calls back to Hosea with last line and in seems like Arthur has finally broken through with his last words that Micah was the problem. You don't quite get that with the sunrise ending and I dislike just how much Arthur suffers and how much of a troll Micah was. The "bad end" just seemed more serious.
