About Euro Truck Simulator, we don't have the engine light warning as such but we do have the wear of different parts like the engine, gearbox, tires etc and yes, we have to go to a workshop to repair them. And if the engine has too much damage, it won't start at all. The parts also get damaged if you have an accident. Thanks for your nice cheerful & energetic videos.
Another awesome video. Sunday smiles. 1 thing I was taught whenever checking something for heat or for possibly being electrically charged. Use the back of your hand. It's a natural reflex for the hand to ball up into a fist. If using the back of your hand natural reflex will pull your hand away from the object not towards it if it is hot or charged.
Yes Angela! what a very practical video! We truck drivers often have to deal with wrenches thrown in our schedule but I doubt very much that most of us handle it in the calm, collected, and beautiful way that you did in your example today. Oh my gosh, it's lots of fun, and a real treat to see a Volvo, and Scania truck in such great detail. I drive an american truck called an International dura star. I do sometimes have a worning light on my instrument panel. I tell my supervisor about it, and he sends the truck to a work shop for me and the work shop gives me a nearly new truck to drive while my truck is repaired. Thank you Angelica for sharing your videos. I really enjoy them.

Hi Angelica!, regarding your question about Euro Truck Simulator: You will only have that kind of warnings on the truck's display if you crash the vehicle. And yes, if you have to much damages on the truck or wagon, you must head to a workshop and repair it. There is even tyre wear but it doesnot affect the driving. Game is realistic up to a certain point. I wish they could add loading and unloading, it will make the game much more interesting. Regards from Frankfurt! :)

You cage the brakes when this happens. There is a bolt that goes in the center of the brake chamber. When you tighten it down it pulls the brake pads away so they don't drag. That way you don't have to keep stopping.
I am wondering if those 2 brakes didnt cam over, rare to have 2 do it at the same time but after changing the quick release valve and caging both axles they still got hot.
Mike Paolozzi possibly to remove emergency line would fix it? But I believe Europe uses disc brakes. There is always something phenomenal could happen to the new technology:)
Sounds to me like they got hot enough to burn the bearing lube. They should have jacked it up, check wheell seals, oil lubricity and bearing condition.

In ETS2 when you damage your truck there's a menu where you see how much you've damaged and you have to repair it on workshops. Also if you damage it a lot you get the engine fault light and the truck starts stalling a lot xD
In eurotruck simulator you don't get faults but you do suffer damage which affects your truck and has to be repaired at the garages. Excellent video Angelica, can't wait for the next.

I played Euro Truck Simulator 2 , truck breakdowns only when you hit something with a truck, for example another vehicle or a wall..then you go to a workshop to fix it, there aren't some serious breakdowns that need to be fixed, it's usually truck engine, or trailer .... this video was great, I enjoyed watching it, a lot of greetings from Serbia from your fellow truckers..Lovu you so much..

Hello Milady, yes I play euro truck sim 2, and yes you do get faults after awhile. It can and does often stall the engine. And you have to take the truck to a service station for repairs. If you crash you have to call for tow to nearest station. And it can make you late for delivery, penalties can eat up your profit, so do tickets and fines. Love your videos!
Very interesting video Angelica. You are right about brakes, they are very important safety factor. You are correct about the smell of brakes Angelica, once you know the smell of burnt brakes you will not forget it. I have been around equipment over the years and have seen all kinds of brake problems. Adjusted wrong, hoses hooked up wrong and most of all, lack of proper training about the brake systems. I could see from your video Angelica that you have been properly trained with brakes and are pro active in taking care of the equipment you operate. I would not mind having you as an operator, knowing you care for the equipment like you own, good deal girl!!!! Angelica, again a great video and stay safe, and ALWAYS enjoy the videos and pics you post.....
Angelica, forgot to comment about you checking the hubs for how hot the brakes were. I really liked your method. I do the same, and its a sure way to find out which hub is warm. I did that just this week while driving and old 1972 VW Beetle. Something smelled hot and by feeling the hubs, I found that the driver's front brakes were adjusted too tight. Doesn't matter the size of the vehicle the method will result in the same. A little dirt on your hands will be worth it !!!!!!!
I actually have one in my truck for checking wheel bearing temperatures, exhaust temperatures on each cylinder can help diagnose many problems that you might have. I have to admit I probably have at least 200 pounds of tools on the truck since I do all of my own repairs.

Not good when a guy plugs the wrong hole! I was going to recommend that you get an infrared thermometer that you just point at the wheel. They normally sell for under $20 but looks like everyone is sold out or charging way too much money.
(just to say I listened to the video) For EuroTruckSimulator (ETS) question : Yes, we have to find a workshop to fix damages as we must find truck stop to "sleep". They depend on what kind of "touch" you've done. When warning light are "on" on mainboard (you can see the damage level with F7 key), engine truck can stop, gear shifting can stop working, driving axle parallelism can be modified (you feel it in the force feedback driving wheel) etc ...
You are a great driver for checking the brakes, most people would drive the truck until they see smoke coming from the tires. Beautiful ride along. I see you are not afraid to get dirty. It’s great to see a microwave in truck.
I played the 2006 Euro Truck Sim a few years ago & yes, you have to go to workshops if the truck gets damaged & they fix it in about 1 second flat 😃 Great service, I must say 😊

Love your videos Angelica. I found it amusing you asking about us followers playing Eurotruck Sim. I have my CDL A here in the US but do play ETS2 and ATS. I'm sure a lot of people answered your question but most of the faults on the trucks only occur if you hit something. Although they do have normal wear and tear damage that all gets repaired at the shops. Keep up the great videos.
I have to say I am so impressed with your driving skills backing up. I have a 10ft x 5ft trailer I use with my pickup truck and it takes me a couple of tries to get it just right.
Everyday can't be easy especially out here on the road. But you did a awesome job of trying to take care of yourself and the equipment. Hope your week is as fantastic as you. 🌹

Cage the chambers, and don’t be a lazy mechanics and actually pull the tires and inspect the Calipers and wheel ends

Hello Milady, yes I play euro truck sim 2, and yes you do get faults after awhile. It can and does often stall the engine. And you have to take the truck to a service station for repairs. If you crash you have to call for tow to nearest station. And it can make you late for delivery, penalties can eat up your profit, so do tickets and fines. Love your videos!

Very interesting video Angelica. You are right about brakes, they are very important safety factor. You are correct about the smell of brakes Angelica, once you know the smell of burnt brakes you will not forget it. I have been around equipment over the years and have seen all kinds of brake problems. Adjusted wrong, hoses hooked up wrong and most of all, lack of proper training about the brake systems. I could see from your video Angelica that you have been properly trained with brakes and are pro active in taking care of the equipment you operate. I would not mind having you as an operator, knowing you care for the equipment like you own, good deal girl!!!! Angelica, again a great video and stay safe, and ALWAYS enjoy the videos and pics you post.....

Angelica, forgot to comment about you checking the hubs for how hot the brakes were. I really liked your method. I do the same, and its a sure way to find out which hub is warm. I did that just this week while driving and old 1972 VW Beetle. Something smelled hot and by feeling the hubs, I found that the driver's front brakes were adjusted too tight. Doesn't matter the size of the vehicle the method will result in the same. A little dirt on your hands will be worth it !!!!!!!

gary63693 It is a good tool for a small fee. Very worthwhile. Can be used to check all the wheels/axles in the future.
I actually have one in my truck for checking wheel bearing temperatures, exhaust temperatures on each cylinder can help diagnose many problems that you might have. I have to admit I probably have at least 200 pounds of tools on the truck since I do all of my own repairs.

Not good when a guy plugs the wrong hole! I was going to recommend that you get an infrared thermometer that you just point at the wheel. They normally sell for under $20 but looks like everyone is sold out or charging way too much money.

For EuroTruckSimulator (ETS) question : Yes, we have to find a workshop to fix damages as we must find truck stop to "sleep".
They depend on what kind of "touch" you've done. When warning light are "on" on mainboard (you can see the damage level with F7 key), engine truck can stop, gear shifting can stop working, driving axle parallelism can be modified (you feel it in the force feedback driving wheel) etc ...
The breaks are nearly as hot as you are ;-)

I played the 2006 Euro Truck Sim a few years ago & yes, you have to go to workshops if the truck gets damaged & they fix it in about 1 second flat 😃 Great service, I must say 😊

Love your videos Angelica. I found it amusing you asking about us followers playing Eurotruck Sim. I have my CDL A here in the US but do play ETS2 and ATS. I'm sure a lot of people answered your question but most of the faults on the trucks only occur if you hit something. Although they do have normal wear and tear damage that all gets repaired at the shops. Keep up the great videos.
Angelica you are well able to manoeuvre that truck and drag ,I’ve only ever driven rigid’s and articulated trucks, good on you.
I have to say I am so impressed with your driving skills backing up. I have a 10ft x 5ft trailer I use with my pickup truck and it takes me a couple of tries to get it just right.
