Helen is too kind to call her coworker that. But that’s what Lydia is. When a disabled client entered their boutique, Lydia refused to help her. She told the woman that she doesn’t need pricy shoes if she can’t even walk in them. Helen, on the other hand, approached the lady and offered to try on the pair. Meanwhile, Lydia was preparing a scam to trick the client and get Helen fired.

I absolutly would stand up for someone with disabilities if they were being mistreated. I have a son with a disability and I spent 12 years of my life working as an advocate for individuals with disabilities. Including being appointed by the governor to serve 2 3 year terms on the montana vocational rehabilitation council. People with disabilities deserve to be treated with the same respect as everyone else.
If people pay, and have manners, no one have any reason to mistreated them. Who cares if they use a wheelchair? They don't want products or services for free.
Never judge something by the cover and never discriminate.
I agree I have a disability and it has happened to me at work or by a cruel customer.

The old woman tries to buy shoes she couldn't put on as the legend content. But young trainee out of the goodness of her heart won all the prejugices and looked at the "incapable" woman as a normal, capable person. The trainee wasn't fall for the scam of manager though the last one all time had sung earworm melody about the woman's handicap. So the trainee could have given up on her words, threats. I had hoped she would given up. But actually she defeated herself.

Nobody I’ve ever met would lose out on the chance to make money. I’ve never seen the disabled mistreated like this in the US.
You might’ve not seen it but it does happen. It happened to my mom when she was living in Boston. She passed away May 2018
