First saw the Hawker Hunter at an Airshow in Ireland in 1980 G-HUNT, painted all Red and it just seemed to slide effortlessly through the Air, Beautiful

Of all the modern fighter jets, among the 3rd, 4th, 5th generations, the Hawker Hunter still amazes me with its beautiful sleek lines, akin to WW2 Supermarine Spitfire

Wie bereits in der Premiere geschrieben sind in Holland 2 Hawker Hunter Diese Einsitzige T6 Version und die Zweisitzige T8 Version. Der Doppelsitzer hatte während der Open Dagen in Leeuwarden 2008 am Samstag einen Vogelschlag erlitten, Und konnte noch sicher landen, Dieser Einsitzer flog erstmals vor 10 Jahren bei den Luchtmachtdagen in Volkel (2009) Auch zusammen in Formation mit der Orange Lion F-16 und der Avro Vulcan am Freitag damals. Ein sehr interessanter Anblick war das!

Hawker Hunter is such a beast. These glorious hunters once served Indian Air Force and destroyed 36 Paxtani tanks in Battle of Longewala. Which makes it a record of largest loss of tanks after world war 2 and the record obviously belong to Paxtan
So many likes from Brits , we love our WWII birds but the hunter and Lightening should have been our home grown showstoppers , and shame on us and our government for not having an historic jet flight , Meteor +++!

The Hunter is a real beauty. I've seen 'Miss Demeanour' a few times over the years, always great to hear that blue note!

@@barrythemod apparently caused by airflow over the under-nose gun ports. Gloster Meteors with the same arrangement make the same noise.

It flies so effortlessly and just looks like it should be in the air unlike some jets that look like they dont want to fly

These was the only planes,beside the F 5s, that Chile,my country, owned in 1978.... when it was going to be invaded from argentina.....
