i remember back around 1991 on Vancouver Island they had a IROC RCMP highway BEAST.... somebody had fun at work i bet,,,,, i like the way your collection is headed !!
That RAM pickuo and the reason it says "Anywhere, USA" is that it's currently not a regularly-issued police vehicle nationwide. Some cities may order them if they need one, but most don't. The decals applied on it is the demo-unit paintjob that they use for magazine photos and publicity shots and stuff. My city has only one RAM police truck, and it is used for the state park sheriff. Texas does use those trucks often as well. Also, the Ford police SUV is an Explorer.
Thank you for the valuable info! I wish I could go back and ad it to my video, LOL. That is interesting stuff about the Ram Police Truck. Also interesting how the Ford Explorer and Ford Edge look almost identical. I need to go to my local dealer and get a refresh on the latest models and their subtle differences.
Awesome video as always. I got to say you hit it on the nail. Growing up me personally I always hated most of these cars. Being four doors and family what not. Except for Mustang of course. Lol. But now that they are not around I really do miss seeing them personally I appreciate it so much when I see a 60's, 70's and 80's cars. It brings back a nostalgic smile in my face when there were no bills or house payment, car payments and so forth. More of the simple times. Lol. Again thank for always taking the time to share. It's actually because of yourself and JoMotor that I started to collect these Greenlights.

Also thank you for sharing your thoughts on the cars of yesteryear, I totally agree with you on all of that. I personally still own my first car, a 4 door 1985 Pontiac Bonneville. wtffor Yes I actually watched your 1:1 a few months back very cool. I have been collecting Hot wheels off and on since 1996 but you can always pick up good collecting habits from others out there in this real cool community of ours. Its funny I myself try new ways of posting my collection whenever I do my own you tube videos. I have to always do them in segments or themes as I don't have my own Hot Wheels cave. lol. Which by the way yours is one of the best I have seen out there. So again keep up the great videos. I look always forward to them.
Living in Florida since I was a teenager, I remember the 5.0 Mustang state trooper cars but not the Trans Am. I saw the T/A police cars driving through Georgia however and heard that there was no outrunning them. Still a very cool model that I must have. Yes you pronounced Biscayne correctly. Another awesome model for Greenlight and another great review video that puts them on my radar. Thanks!
I been pulled over by that mustang when I lived in my in the 80's...and the card art on these greenlights are my favorites. Then they get me with a map on the back. Quickly becoming my favorites!!!

I think I ran a red light in queens. I was driving a 1982 Toyota Corolla that we rented from rent-a-wreck. It was probably like 1989. Whenever I see this cop car I think of the midtown tunnel cuz there would always be a couple parked at the entrances to the bridges and tunnels!
Love the Greenlight cars, was always into Hot wheels and Matchbox. I'm just discovering these cars myself. They are fantastic, I love the amount of detail in them which I really love. Love this video, you highlighted my favorite cars, Police cars :). Nice vid, keep it up, l look forward to your next video.

I bought this case too, mine had already been looked through though. These are costing 6.99 to 6.59 at my local (Chicago) Toys R Us. But even with the recent price increase they blow anything Mattel makes right out of the water.
I really miss the Crocodile Dundee Knife O-Dawg lol...man Greenlight do amazing castings..so nice..love em! This is probably one of the best sets to come out.

Man! How proud you must be of this great collection.Thanks for sharing them all. Greenlight diecast does take the lead in most detailed diecast. I enjoy looking at mine daily. Now you need to make a video with a law enforcement raid on your junkyard for an illegal chop-shop. LOL
NYPD Highway patrol had 2 of those mustangs. They were confiscated from street racers and turned into NYPD vehicles in the early 90's. They were later re-painted all white with blue stripes and letters when NYPD changed their colors.. NYPD have since retired them and I believe one is in the NYPD historical vehicle collection.
Man this is a great set... I've been living in Florida all my life and I've never seen a Firebird cop car on the street pretty cool though. I'm like you I find way more value in collecting diecast than I do action figures these days however that said my G.I. Joe and overall action figure collection is 10 times bigger than my diecast collection. Pretty sad at the end of the day lol...

Great video as always.congratulations.The Ford utility is based on the new Explorer.It has been developed with the imput of some police dpts.New improvements on safety includes the windows rolling up and doors locking up if someone comes up from the back of the vehicle! It's going to replace the crowm vic as we know.The Dodge is a prototype for now,it means that it can be ordered on a 5 0 spcs.You got the Biscayne correct,and the Stang,what a good job they did on that piece!Again congrats on the newbies!
Great video! Just got the NYPD Mustang myself. Have not had a chance to crack it but it looks awesome! In reference to the Ram truck that is just a generic paint scheme Dodge used for show, press, fleet sales, testing and evaluations, etc. etc. All the police car manufactures do this. They will even send the vehicles out to various departments for their officers to evaluate in the field, etc. Dodge does this with the Charger as well. Got to admit that mustang is amazing in fact the whole set is amazing. Kinda odd tho the Ram police. I think the mpv is an explorer. I'm now off to look up mustangs in police livery.
Thanks. like these hot pursuits...and black bandits. I just picked up some of the new set that's coming out...in store. A 14 ram , 12 wrangler, 67 bronco (almost picked up the firebird)...but they are 7 bucks now! (meijers). I usually get 2 of the ones I like. I don't think I'll be getting even one of each I like from now on. Now I'll have to stick with only ones I really like, not being able to justify (feel good) about paying that price now for these no matter how cool. I'll stick more with my transformers. Oh, I don't remember a sticker on the back of the Mustang..will have to go and look
miragexl007 Yes that is expensive for the Greenlights... I pay $5 + tax where I am, but since I've cut back on buying other brands of cars I don't feel too bad about paying that for the GL's. I don't usually buy 2 of them though, unless I'm really excited about the casting. Thanks for the comment!

Great video again. I like the Hot Pursuit series but I'm looking for certain police cars. One since I was born in Wisconsin I know they made a Burlington Suburban or truck of some kind. Just wondering if they ever made and other Wisconsin police cars?
These Greenlight models are allowing me to finally collect a nice range of 1:64 police cars, good stuff, but I just wish they'd get their QC in order. Two very common problems are the ill fitting tires, that often don't sit right no matter what you do (haven't tried glue yet, though), and base plates that are poorly riveted, whereby the car sits too high on one side. Pressure carefully applied to the underside snaps the base plate flush and into place; usually. Anyway, your vids are always great to watch. BTW, do you have the San Diego Crown Vic K-9 unit? can't seem to find it in your videos. Take it easy.

Greenlight models are true 1/64 scale, whereas Hot Wheels average 1/64 scale but can range from approximately 1/55 to 1/90 scale. Most are in and around 1/60 to 1/70 scale though.
