    Your videos make me want to come to Singapore just to eat. Do you think 10 days with a budget of around 50 USD a day would be enough to get a gist of the different dishes available in Singapore?

    • @GregoryLeow
      @GregoryLeow  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      50usd is more than enough. Money isn’t the problem. It’s having the stomach space to eat it! There’s just too many good stalls to go through here!

    Geylang Serai! Here i come! Thanks for sharing, though the toilet sign in the background makes the overall visual experience less appetizing than what it could have been. Nevertheless, very much looking forward to try the food at Geylang Serai for the first time soon!

    Hi Gregory! I will be in Singapore this May. I will be living at Geylang lorong 20. What lorong is this stall?:)

    • @GregoryLeow
      @GregoryLeow  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Patrick Canete it’s not near a Lorong. It’s further east, about 10 mins from where you’ll be staying. Go to sims avenue and take a bus down :)

    I enjoy your vlog. I am going to stay in Little India in April. Which Nasi Biryani in Little India you recommend? Terima kasih.

    • @GregoryLeow
      @GregoryLeow  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      CivFS73 hi it depends what version of biryani you looking for. There are 2 main versions: the local style which is more Malay influenced and the proper Indian version. For the Malay version, yakader in Tekka market is not bad. For the India n version, bismillah biryani is quite good. But we are talking about streetstyle biryanis here. Most of the Indian restaurants along race course road do more than a decent biryani but they cost alot more.

    • @CivFS73
      @CivFS73 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Isn't there any hawker centre in or around Little India that sells Nasi Biryani?

    • @GregoryLeow

    Just happen to find your channel; love it. Really love it that you had brought these hidden gems that my current generation wouldn't know.
    By any chance are you going to do hokkien mee soon? The black version to be exact.

    • @GregoryLeow
      @GregoryLeow  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Denny wah kl style Hokkien mee is not common in SG. Try big eater seafood. It’s a pretty good rendition there but it’s been a while since I’ve had real kl style Hokkien mee.

    I like watching most foods on your youtube channel. A piece of advise, you will definitely get more subscribers if you travel outside Singapore so you will look happier. Happier youtubers should get more subscribers. I used to live in Singapore so I know.

    • @JesusLovesHisCreations

      Not exactly….in Singapore, there used to b a famous channel call food king….but apparently the owners of that channel started fighting for its rights….so tat channel is being destroyed rt….n Singaporeans tends to travel around Sg to look for good food over the weekend…n I normally searches on this channel for advice….
      To travel out of Sg, n b a food critique for the world may b
      1) more competitive
      2) more expensive (air tickets n must include travel insurance which covers hospital bills jus in case u get infected by Covid-19….)
      3) end result, u might not even necessary get the no. viewership….cos may not b relevant to locals here in Singapore 😅👍
      It’s ur choice, Greg, I constantly watch ur channel for local stalls advise….cos my dad is slipping away, n I wish to give him the best every weekend….
      N thanks for your honest reviews, Greg😊👍

    • @GregoryLeow
      @GregoryLeow  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      hi ravichandar, thats why i say it's cheap and good (only for the price), its nice but its not the best biryani out there for local singapore style biryanis. biryani express is miles better in my opinion!

  • @JesusLovesHisCreations
    @JesusLovesHisCreations 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Just went there, price has slightly increased to $6 a pkt…..and for extra pkt of mutton curry, need to pay extra $4☺️👍
