Dogs aren’t suppose to eat coked bones because they can easily break and splinter,so basically feed cooked bones to your dogs is bad and raw bones is good
You can feed both cooked and raw to your dog so long as your not feeding fish bones that can spinter raw or cooked. If your going to cook then you slow cook it for a very long time rending it soft no longer spintering rendering it safe but raw is the most satisfying and retains its marrow which is money for the dog. hi! wifey and I getting a dobie soon! excited! question...can you help? want to know how much to feed dobie pupp, if feeding raw food diet? Or, can you point us in the proper direction? please? thanks :)
I am not sure with puppies started at 6 months with our dogs since I was researching it for a while since I was scared. But next puppy I will be giving raw ground up. Once full grown feed 2-3% body weight a day
I've been watching a ton of these raw food videos lately and it's amazing to see how healthy all of the dogs look! I've been wondering if it's safe for them to lick you after feeding. Have you changed the way you interact with them after they consume raw products or does it not matter?
We brush their teeth but still avoid licking right after they eat at least. But they have got us a few times with some sneaky licks and we have not gotten sick. The most likely source of bacteria is fingernails or cutting boards if you dont proper clean them or wear gloves when prepping.
XperienceJohnny Canine saliva contains lysozyme, an enzyme that lyses and destroys bacteria, but more importantly, the absence of plaque means the dog's mouth is no longer a hospitable place for bacteria to inhabit. A kibble-fed dog's mouth, however, provides the perfect environment for bacteria growth: plaque-covered teeth with sugary and starchy complexes provide both food and shelter for bacteria.
@@DogPileTV I agree, education on the topic is really important. It seems like a lot of people are set in their ways about feeding kibble to their pups without knowing whats in it and not looking at how it can affect them down the line. I wish there was more hard cut scientific research on feeding raw, but i guess that wont come out until someone in this community does the research because the big dog food brands sure wont
Beautiful Doberman I grew up with these dogs. I have recently got a gsd puppy and want her to really get on the raw diet. I need some help. She loves chicken livers and kidneys. But getting her to like all other things like raw lamb etc she doesn’t seem to eat it to well. Also how do I balance it out weekly to know she’s getting what she needs thanks
There are a few different schools of thought when it comes to raw diets and different kinds. We feed mostly B.A.R.F diet but prey model raw and whole prey on occasion. So ate first we introduced different meats and organs slowly so if one gave them problems we would know. Then we used that list of of known menu items they like and slowly keep building it by introducing new meats and organs. Once you get enough diversity sticking to general guide lines like 2-3% body weight total meal size for the day (split up or in one meal) 4 different protien sources minimum. Also 50% or more of the meat sources should be red meats like rabbit, lamb, deer, beef etc. Then supplements should be used or occassion or to help deter or treat issues with your dog. For example we give our dogs anti inflammatory supplements like golden paste and cbd oil since our Dog Nala had hip displacia when we rescued her and now needs to control her inflammation. Also we give her glucosamine supplements and raw chicken feet and pigs feet which are high in glucosamine.
Lazerdude 247 well diversity is always best but I have found my dogs like certain veggies more than others. Also it depends of which organs you are feeding. Organs are their main vitamin source but can be supplemented by their veggies and fruits. Some veggies are poisonous so double check each before attempting to feed. Our dogs love cooked sweet potato, raw carrots, raw cucumbers, raw squash. You want to avoid too much fiber dogs teeth and stomach do not break it down so it can be harmful if you force them to eat their veggies. With older dogs I would steam them and feed with the water once cooled.
Dogs were fed with grains and slaughter waste for thousands of years. They have now the digestive tract of an omnivore. It's not bad but also not necessary to feed only meat
Bro my dog likes to eat my food for dinner: Dinner we have so chicken and with so chickens legs for our 2 dogs I have pitbull and half labe we have a doberman
I've been feeding raw for 8 years now to my Dobes....Best looking dogs in town...enough said. BTW, feeding them outside works best for me too...cleaner for sure.
@George L He said they were the best looking dogs in town, you idiot, no the healthiest. Although, I do believe they would have been the healthiest as well, if the natural diet was properly balanced. Also, if he was a responsible owner, he was probably doing regular check-ups at the vet and could easily produce the evidence you asked for, if he so desired.
Well i have a bullmastiff 4 years 1 month weighing 62 kg.fit as a fiddle but he has atopic dermatitis so the medication i give him is dangerous and now my doctors tell me to feed him raw diet (grain free) and assures me that he'd be ok.now the problem is if i dont feed hom grain he loses weight an dgrows weak.also im baaed in india and its very warm so can't feed him much of meats.any suggestions
A raw feed dog will lean out meaning weight loss but usually they look more muscular and less bloated or fat. Without pictures I am not sure what the situation is with you particular dog but some grain free kibble has been proven dangerous for some breeds hearts. We do not feed grain almost ever with our raw diet but a bit here and there maybe. Meat/Fish should be main source of food. Skin issues are common with allergy does his ears get dirty with black stuff often or lick paws allot? Rice with chicken broth (no salt) is what we feed our dogs when they are sick or have had a surgery. We raise quail now to help make it more affordable and their eggs are very healthy. Feed grains to birds, feeds eggs, and male birds to dogs.
@@DogPileTV thank you for the insight doctor and yes he does have wax in his ears and licks his paws excessively. However my main concern is in india as it's very hot and humid if i feed him non veg he will have more problems like loss of apetite and liver malfunction ( very dark color urine) etc
Twice a day for a total of 2.5lbs of meat. We lived in Tijuana Mexico for 5 years so meat was cheap in the US we had to start raising Quails and Chickens to help offset costs.
@@DogPileTV I'm about to get a doberman puppy so I make a research about raw diet for dogs, I will be able to feed it mainly with chickens, liver, brown rice, veggies and fruits, I wonder if I should cut the chicken at start or a 10 weeks puppy can handle a chicken leg by itself? Thank you for responding btw I didn't expect that Any tips will be welcomed
Great question yes we do! Freezing doesnt kill certian parasites found in some pork though so it must be deboned and cooked unless your area is free of the trichinosis parasite
Kamryn Holden my Doberman is great around all dogs she was socialized like crazy starting at 12 weeks. She just learned how to be good around a cat too very quickly. But our rescues go crazy because they have been attacked by other dogs before. I’ve been train them one on one now and they are allot better. It’s in a Dobermans blood to protect you but they could be showing aggression out of fear too. If it’s fear then you’ll need to socialize your dog more. How old is your dog? If they go crazy you need to turn them around or at least get their focus back on you and give them a treat. You might need a training collar if you get overpowered or can’t get them to snap out of barking to listen.
Kamryn Holden you can see in our dog park blogs that our Doberman is very confident but not aggressive generally at dog parks. If she gets too riddled up I leash her and make her sit until she is calm enough to play without showing signs of aggression ie. curled lip rises hair near shoulders deep primal growl and point back ears.
Kamryn Holden no problem if you do I would say the most difficult part of having a Doberman is that they are Velcro dogs and need company most of the day
jeremiah Jones then are they really dogs? If they have been bred so far away from their ancestors that they can't eat natural raw meat then something is wrong.
Can I ask dumb question, can I feed my dobe this or does it need to be slowly introduced.? My dobe is nearly 4 but been mainly on dry food and sometimes boiled chiki, bones removed.
slowly introduced is probably best with Dobies as they can have sensitive stomachs. Avoid bones for a while until you are confident that they are taking their time and stick with softer bones as your Dobie is no longer a pup

It is best to help kill bacteria. Depends on the type of meat and your freezer. Two weeks is most common recommendation unless you have deep freezer that can get extra cold. Some meats like pork if infected with trichinosis can not be frozen out easily so must be cooked if your pigs are not tested.
Jada kizz it’s hard to find! Might have to go online unless you know some butchers, farmers, or hunters. Green tripe is usually bleached and sold for humans to cook and eat but looses all its vitamins after being bleached.
Its night and day the way people react too her. More are scare of my smaller German Shepherd mix with pointed ears than goofy looking Kaia even though she is almost twice the size
I have a female Shepard huskey and her puppy a ridge back boxer mix....we have fed them our left overs including cooked chicken bones for years and they haven't had any problems...they are 10 and 9 years
Thomas Lewis I know allot of dogs that have ate cooked bones and we’re fine but I’ve also seen the xrays and horror stories. But people in Mexico leave cooked bones out for strays and bbq places in San Diego give cooked rib bones to dogs. Pressure cooked bones sometimes crumble easier than raw. But if you hit a raw bone with a hammer it will crumble and a cooked bone will shatter into sharpe pieces. We just say better safe than sorry but I believe you and have heard similar cases.
Great to see a owner not feeding his k9 companion kibble.. I peel the skin back on the chicken so it’s easier for my dog to eat also dnt take the risk with raw pork.
I've been on the fence about feeding my pup raw chicken, because she's a small dog and the salmonella scares me. So when i do feed her poultry it usually is cook ground Turkey because i tried chicken and she breaks out in allergies so i stopped feeding her chicken, but i do feed her semi raw ground beef (lightly cooked). Question... do you reside in North America? I was having a conversation with a canine nutritionist he recommended i all should give my pup green tripe, where did you find this?
This one was sent to us from Australia in a can from a viewer named momo. Its really hard to find in the united states. We are in San Diego and raw dog food suppliers sell it at crazy prices. We trade often with farmers since we have a decent garden and flock of quails and chickens so they give me tripe when they process a cow for their family
With a small dog though it wont be that expensive to buy online. We are working on a partner ship with one of those sites but dont have one to suggest as we havent used them for green tripe yet
@@DogPileTV i too reside in California in LA county, yeah the nutritionists is from Australia as well, thats why i asked about the tripes. Thank you for answering my question. Great channel by the way!

Also we give her glucosamine supplements and raw chicken feet and pigs feet which are high in glucosamine.
awww she ait her berries too
=) she eats almost everything not picky like some of my other dogs
The fact the you start with since 84 by the mac himself gets a thumbs up
R.I.P Mac Dre since 84 is one of my favorites. New videos have a Mac Dre outro too
Beautiful dog and especially without being cropped and docked.
thank you!
Just asking before I change my dog's diet to a raw diet, what are the best veggies for dogs to eat during meals?
Or fruits of course
Lazerdude 247 well diversity is always best but I have found my dogs like certain veggies more than others. Also it depends of which organs you are feeding. Organs are their main vitamin source but can be supplemented by their veggies and fruits. Some veggies are poisonous so double check each before attempting to feed. Our dogs love cooked sweet potato, raw carrots, raw cucumbers, raw squash. You want to avoid too much fiber dogs teeth and stomach do not break it down so it can be harmful if you force them to eat their veggies. With older dogs I would steam them and feed with the water once cooled.
Thanks, Good advice!
Lazerdude 247 cabbage spinach blueberries
Were did people get the idea dogs like to only eat cereal 🤷♂️
When they found out they could market just about anything even cheap grains and industrial by product.
My dog likes to eat turds from cat smdh wont touch dry food though
Dogs were fed with grains and slaughter waste for thousands of years. They have now the digestive tract of an omnivore. It's not bad but also not necessary to feed only meat
Bro my dog likes to eat my food for dinner: Dinner we have so chicken and with so chickens legs for our 2 dogs I have pitbull and half labe we have a doberman
That's one fine looking dog, you only get out what you put in, well done, such a cutie.
Thank you!!!
I've been feeding raw for 8 years now to my Dobes....Best looking dogs in town...enough said.
BTW, feeding them outside works best for me too...cleaner for sure.
Way easier to clean outside and I think the dogs enjoy it more. Dobermans are an amazing breed!
@@DogPileTV yes I fed my Rotties Raw but not chicken ....only duck
@George L Who peed in your chicken feet?
@George L lol damn relax go feed youre poor dog kibble
How many meals like that she eats a day, I wonder how much it costs to raw feed a doberman
Thank you for responding btw I didn't expect that
Any tips will be welcomed
Do you freeze the meat & chicken for a few days before serving?
Great question yes we do! Freezing doesnt kill certian parasites found in some pork though so it must be deboned and cooked unless your area is free of the trichinosis parasite
What all was in the bowl?
There was a chicken drumstick, 2 chicken feet, pork tail, chicken gizzards, green tripe, beef liver and blue berries
@@DogPileTV I thought I saw blueberries! My doggo loves bberries and watermelon.
I have a question so if your Doberman sees another dog does it go crazy or just stays calm and if it goes crazy how do you handle it
Kamryn Holden my Doberman is great around all dogs she was socialized like crazy starting at 12 weeks.
Ok thx because I am planning on getting one
Kamryn Holden no problem if you do I would say the most difficult part of having a Doberman is that they are Velcro dogs and need company most of the day
Raw verses kibble, no contest.
you know it =)
Kibble wins.
SamVision Raw diet is better for dogs
jeremiah Jones then are they really dogs? If they have been bred so far away from their ancestors that they can't eat natural raw meat then something is wrong.
stan blank dogs stomach perform differently then humans so they would get it but we would if we ate raw
Very good to see a doberman with his ears n tail u are a great daddy
Thank you!
It looks delicious.
I'm getting hungry this way!
Sasha likes to always eat it in front of the camera.
Especially the best when eating chicken legs!
haha so true! This onse is Kaia but she loves when I pull out the gopro it means food time or adventure time haha =)
I'm sorry!
I am not very good at English.
Is this dog's name kaia?
Pea Pome no problem! This is Kaia =)
DogpileTV Thank you!
I am sorry for making a mistake.
I asked you to follow Instagram :)
Pea Pome no problem! Thank you! Your dog is beautiful!

Why a dog eating soo satisfying?😂
right ?!?1 =)
Do we need to freeze the raw before feeding them?
If yess than how many days should we freeze the raw.
It is best to help kill bacteria. Depends on the type of meat and your freezer. Two weeks is most common recommendation unless you have deep freezer that can get extra cold. Some meats like pork if infected with trichinosis can not be frozen out easily so must be cooked if your pigs are not tested.
As a vegetarian I find this completely natural.
moving on...
We eat vegetarian ourselfs during the week and eat anything during the weekend as its hard to stick to a diet when out and about.
Best eating dog I've seen so far on TH-cam. Great video quality too. You've gained a like and a favourite.
Thank you!!!!!!
DogpileTV she sounds better than the best violin to my ears. This crunching sound have absolutely beautiful relaxing frequences.
Im still looking for the *GREEN* tripe
Jada kizz it’s hard to find! Might have to go online unless you know some butchers, farmers, or hunters. Green tripe is usually bleached and sold for humans to cook and eat but looses all its vitamins after being bleached.
Asian markets. Here in Cali Ranch 99 has them and much more
No way I need to look for it next time I am in San Diego there are a bunch of Asian markets
Such a beautiful dog. :) I love dobies and am making it a goal of mine to get one in the future. Nice video 💕
They are a special breed extremely smart. Sometimes too smart haha=)
Is it weird that this is making me hungry?
We have actually got that comment a decent amount =)
DogpileTV Well thanks for
making me aware of the comment statistics. Looks like I’m not weird after all, *PHEW!* 😂😂
chicken fingers takes on a whole new meaning here....lol
hahaha never thought of it that way
That dog is cute as hell I have a couple myself 👍
Dobermans are the greatest
I got a 1 year old pit/lab mix , And i was thinking of starting to give him raw chicken , but I’m still not too sure if it’s a good idea or not
That was one BIG chicken leg!!!!
I'm surprised she didn't lie down to eat the chicken leg
My male Edu might have he losed to lay down while chewing bigger pieces
Get a grip ffs its only a drumstick
@@reoreteholland3330 lol was thinking the same
Those crunches - ASMR!
right !
Satisfying
Thank you!! =)
how do you acquire green tripe, i can seem to find it from any butchers, like its illegal
yeah it is really hard to find online its pretty pricy as well as at dog food stores. I will keep an eye out for a good brand online
She looks less scary with that floppy ears
Its night and day the way people react too her. More are scare of my smaller German Shepherd mix with pointed ears than goofy looking Kaia even though she is almost twice the size
The floppy ears make her so sweet.
=)
"I wanna eat some of them chitlins! I love pig's feet!"
In the Philippines they make pig feet into a dish call krispy pata which is super bomb! I have never had chitlins but I need to try them soon!
If you get a chance, try some fried hog's maw. It will sustain you.
@Anti Ahmadiya Why? Because your religion says so?
😂
Look at that beautiful precious angel
Thank you she is our princess =)
Damn he gave her the chicken feet to lol.
Axel Foley she loves chicken feet! they have allot of vitamins and minerals that are good for supporting joint health
@@DogPileTV thanks for the info bud I'll try and wing them off lol but they love their chicken
You can feed cooked chicken no problem just remove the just in case bones you can save them for some bone broth too
VERY NICE!
Thank you!
It’s 1:30 am here and now I’m hungry .... am I fuckin dog 🤔
Its 1:03 PM here we are on other sides of the earth! Sorry to make you hungry at such an inconvenient time
Great to see a owner not feeding his k9 companion kibble.. I peel the skin back on the chicken so it’s easier for my dog to eat also dnt take the risk with raw pork.
DatNikkaTrini Thank You! we have been cooking our boneless pork just in case and feed it rarely.
Such a beautiful and natural looking doberman ❤️
Thank you =)
Would've never knew the closet realative to a draffe is a dog
hahaha right
I've been on the fence about feeding my pup raw chicken, because she's a small dog and the salmonella scares me.
Thats look good actually
Thank you some meals come out looking better than others. Still nothing compared to the food art some ladies are making on Instagram with the raw dogs food.
How many times a day you feed it?
Twice usually but some of the larger meals are just once a day
Mac Dre ayee
good ear!
I’m in the billin and I’m feelin myself
How much does your dog weigh and how much food do you give her. How many times a day do you feed her?
95lbs and around 2.5lbs a day
