I am part of a group that has been hired to maintain these robots, Amazon is currently hiring, funding and promoting technicians for these positions thru a third party company. This is an amazing opportunity for those who seek to work with robots at this great company.
Thank you for the high-level introduction, will be sure to be ready for the meticulous details if I am fortunate enough to land an amazing Amazon job! 😁
don't go to a fulfillment center. They're a nightmare, if anything get to a sort center but really with a degree in robotics you'd be likely to start ahead dealing with robots directly. look at all the career choices for amazon in robotics, but a good start would be RME (reliable maintenance engineering) they go around fixing any sorters, belts machines, robots anything. Certain RME Techs are designated to certain areas also depending on specialties
I swear some people are so ungrateful like you should be happy you with no skills with a probable criminal background can walk into Amazon and get a full-time job
Those orange robots are cool

Do you get tested in? Nothing wrong with it. I'm new in maintenance. About 3 years. However, I'm interested in the maintenance side and Controls.
Nice
great company looooooool 🤣 robots from hell
R2D2s from hell. If Amazon could replace all the people with bots, they would in a nanosecond.
I wish the background music was a bit more louder
Great job with the subtitles😂

I wish you the best of luck. Remember, safety first and keep your eyes open for those robots....

If a person has an associate degree in robotics...
How does one go about getting a job in a fulfillment center?

you can look up JLL they do the onsite maintenance on the robots. I worked for then as a contract.
So what happens to all those workers when everything goes robotic? Are we screwing oursleves up in this freak show?
Well I think it will encourage shifts on education. People can still be educated for controls, maintenence and engineering.
@@brettservin4395 No they let them go with no notice. That's how Amazon works. This is a feel good video.
Yet they still want $25 an hour
All I'm saying is back in the day unions were created by skilled workers trying to protect their industry, Amazon workers are unskilled
So again Amazon hires literally almost anybody but I don't think this commercial accurately depicts the vast majority of people that work there
Insane
I swear some people are so ungrateful like you should be happy you with no skills with a probable criminal background can walk into Amazon and get a full-time job
Haha They aren't getting full time jobs. Hahahahahaha Who do you think you're fooling?
Hell on earth
