I think he should also have some combo victory animations when on the same team as Isabelle, such as these: -The Slayer is fishing in a pond, then Isabelle messes up a rocket jump off-screen and crashes into the pond, startling him. -The Slayer digs a hole with a shovel, then Isabelle throws an imp's body into it, and the two plant a tree and cover the hole together. -The Slayer shows Isabelle how to shoot the super shotgun, but when she fires, she's flung backwards off-screen.
It would also be wicked if Ranger from Quake and BJ Blaskowitz from Wolfenstein appear in the reveal trailer to be revealed to be skins for the DoomSlayer, effectively bringing the ID Trinity to Super Smash Bros Ultimate.

My thoughts for the taunts would be him cracking his knuckles for one just like in the video, him specifically pulling out the Doomguy model from 2016 and fistbumping it, and the doom shuffle from 2016's multiplayer.
Final smash could’ve been Doomslayer blowing a hole in Mars with the BFG 10000 with the players caught in the final smash on Mars when it is blown up. Kind of like King K Rool’s final smash
I’ve got a idea for you. You could do a series called “What if this character was remade for Smash” For example you could give Mario a move set based on Mario Oddysey. You could give Link a move set fully based on Breath of the Wild.

Or better yet they have his echo fighter be Ranger from Quake, the game that fully revolutionized 3D gaming when it launched with its engine, a engine that would later be tweaked in its sequel of Quake 2 and that version of ID tech would go on to help bring forth other 3D gaming engines including Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Ideally I'd love to have the whole ID trinity of FPS characters be in Smash with how important their games are to the video game industry, but if I have to choose either Wolfenstein or Quake then I'd go for Quake as aside from a lackluster game of Quake Champions, Quake as a whole is all but a forgotten franchise and that's a damn shame as it's a franchise that had such a big impact on the video game industry as a whole when it came out back in 1996.

I hope this is a joke. “Doom guy” is fan made, as he didn’t have an actual name at the time. “Doom slayer” or “the slayer” is cannon, as he is called both names in doom eternal. Doom slayer would 100% be his name in smash.

Awesome moveset, I would just change a few things : - The Tap Jab would be a 3-hit move, yet again. It would start with a strait forwards left punch too, but the second hit would be a strait forwards right punch, referencing the Doom 3 jab that uses both hands, and the third hit would be a horizontal left hook, like your moveset's second hit . Each hit would give back the same amount of ammo as in the video (1, then 2, then 3) - The Hold Up Tilt and Hold Down Tilt would be exchanged, and there would be no mods on the Plasma Rifle, which would use 3 ammo rounds per shot, being the rapid-fire weapon it is. - Holding down the Ballista's attack button will charge the shot, and releasing the button will shoot. - There would be hold variations of the Aerial moves, which would mimic the hold variations of the ground moves : Combat Shotgun for the NAir, Heavy Cannon (which isn't really new by the way, it was basically in Doom 2016 under the name "Heavy Assault Rifle") for the FAir, Plasma Rifle for the UAir and Ballista as DAir and BAir. Each would keep their ground variant's properties and ammo cost. - The Ballista also knocks the Slayer back while in mid-air, making both DAir and FAir spammable vertical and horizontal recovery moves respectively. You have infinite recovery with these moves, but that recovery would be almost painfully slow, and it would leave you very vulnerable to attacks. - The Up-Throw would be the back Glory Kill on the Arachnotron, where he *grabs* the Arachnotron's back, pull it over his head and *throws* it in front of him. - There would be no hold variations of the Special moves (except for the Up B and Down B, but I'll get to those moves later), just continuous firing if the button is held, and the Remote Detonation mod of the Rocket Launcher wouldn't be there. Plus, the Neutral B and Side B would be exchanged. - The Super Shotgun would work the same as in the video, except two things : first, you could angle the direction you fire at, kinda like Greninja's Up B. Second, the meathook would have infinite range (like in Doom Eternal), but couldn't go through objects and, most importantly, *it wouldn't hatch onto ledges,* which means that to recover with it, the enemy would have to be on top of you, and there should be no obstacle between you and your foe (so it would be better to combine it with the previously mantionned DAir/BAir recovery). - The Down B would remain the same... for one part. See, the Slayer would have a visual gimmick, the same as in D34D- 3Y3's comment : he would hold the last weapon he used while he doesn't attack (idle, walking, jumping, running, ect). The grenades would be the Slayer's Down B while he isn't holding a gun. If he used his Down B while he holds a gun, he would change said gun's mod, and if he holded his Down B, it would pull up a UI around the Slayer that lets you choose between 3 options, unmodded and 2 mods. The mods would be : - For the Combat Shotgun : - *Sticky Bombs* : It would shoot a grenade-like bullet that would cling to the foe and explode very quickly. It would cost 6 ammo rounds per shot. - *Full Auto* : As the name implies, it would just be a faster version of the unmodded Combat Shotgun. It would cost less ammo per shot tho, as it only would cost 1 ammo round per shot, whereas the unmodded Combat Shotgun costs 2 per shot. It refernces the mastery of the Full Auto mod in Doom Eternal, which gives you back ammo every time you hit something with it, and since giving ammo back would do the same as using less ammo, I decided to go with that. - For the Heavy Cannon : - *Precision Bolt* : It would prevent all movement using the C-Stick while holding the gun, because it would be used to angle the Heavy Cannon. After that, pressing the attack button would fire a very deadly shot, with very little knockback, but a very high damage imput. It would cost 10 ammo rounds per shot. - *Micro-Missiles* : It would basically be the Lock-On Burst Mod on the Rocket Launcher, with more knockback and infinite range, but they wouldn't home-in. It would cost 12 ammo rounds per use. - For the Plasma Rifle : - *Heat Blast* : As presented in the video. - *Microwave Beam* : It would shoot a blue beam that would interrupt anything the foe was doing and stagger them, making them fall if they were in mid-air, while slowly wracking up damage. Once the foe released, the foe would stay staggered for about a second if under 100%, and launched pretty far away if over 100%. It would cost 2 ammo rounds per second to use. - For the Ballista : - *Arbalest* : It would basically be the Sticky Bomb mod of the Combat Shotgun with a little more knockback and less damage imput. It would spike if the projectile is attached to the top of the opponent's head. It would cost 10 ammo rounds per shot. - *Destroyer Blade* : It would release an energy blade that would inflict twice the damage and twice the knockback as a regular shot, but would also take twice more time to charge and cost twice more : 16 ammo rounds per shot. - For the Chaingun : - *Mobile Turret* : It would open the Chaingun so it looks like a turret, which would essencially have the same result as an unmodded Chaingun, but 4 times quicker : Same damage delt, same ammo spent, but in a quarter of the time. - *Gun Shield* : It would summon an energy shield in front of the Slayer that would protect him from the front. The shield in himself doesn't consume any ammo, it just vanishes after it has tanked 75% of damage, and takes 10 seconds to recharge. The Chaingun in itself still spends 6 ammo rounds per seconds. - For the Rocket Launcher : - *Remote Detonation* : As presented in the video. It just costs 7 ammo rounds instead of 5. - *Lock-On Burst* : As presented in the video. It just costs 12 ammo rounds instead of 15. - For the Super Shotgun : - *Improved Onslaught* : It would double the damage delt and the ammo cost. - *Flame Hook* : This would set the Meathook on fire. That fire would have the same effects as the Flame Belch's. I should also mension that you can select the mods each gun has at the beginning of the match in the character select screen, just because it's pretty handy. - The Final Smash is very good as it is, I would just add that, if a foe goes in contact with the Beefy Fireman in Green 9000's Energy Ball, said foe is automatically KOed and the final smash ends automatically. - Sorry to be rude, but I feel like the alts are kinda uncreative, so lemmy give you my personnal pics : - Doom Eternal Slayer - Doom Eternal Classic Skin - Doom Eternal Slayer, with the Doom 2016 colors - Doom Eternal Classic Skin , with the colors of Doom 3's Doomguy - Doom Eternal Slayer , with overall white colors with black details and a light blue visor, referencing Samuel Hayden and/or the Night Sentinels - Doom Eternal Classic Skin , with the colors of the Quake Protagonist - Doom Eternal Slayer , with a pure Golden Armor (Representing the accomplishment of finidhing an Ultra-Nightmare Run) - Doom Eternal Classic Skin , with red colors, wich is one of the many colors we can take in the original Doom's multiplayer. Also, if he is in one of his "Doom Eternal Slayer" outfits, the character select screen would say "Doom Slayer", and if he is in one of his "Doom Eternal Classic Skin" outfits, it would say "Doomguy". - One of his taunts could have him pull out the Pistol, aim at the enemy and then fire it. The Pistol being a staple in the Doom games, I would kinda feel bad if it wasn't in. Plus, the Pistol is the base weapon in Doom, and is only effective against the weakest enemies. If he uses it, that means he finds the foe asweak as the base demons in his games. *Ouch.* - For one of his victory animations, the Slayer could have Daisy running towards him and jumping in his arms, only for the Slayer to pet her in the back. Being another Animal Crossing: Eternal fan, I drew up some plans for the Slayer but some of those ideas kinda clash with some good ones here. I'd love to hear feedback from lots of views! I personally had the idea that the Doomslayer could switch between certain weapon using neutral B (other weapons of larger scales get their own specials), similar to Shulk's manado arts. These weapons could be fired upon using a normal jab similar to Inkling. I personally think all his smash attacks could use the chainsaw due to the caliber of a weapon the Crucible is, and perhaps leave the Crucible for a combo with the Final Smash with the BFG. I do like the idea of Blood Punch being the down smash though and I think it represents Eternal much better. For Grabs, I was thinking of utilizing the Super Shotgun with the new meat hook. I do admit that putting such a weapon in such a role does not seem befitting, but it would allow the slayer to have ranged grabs and tether to ledge. Along with this, I think a gimmick to be added is that when the grab connects, there is time when the victim is pulled towards the Slayer. If nothing happens, it results in a normal pummel. However, hitting A or B results in a super shotgun blast with lots of damage, knock-back and kill potential at the cost of more ammo than usual. The chaingun being side special is something I had a similar in mind. Utilizing the weaker mod in 2016 is unique and I hadn't actually thought it could be utilized properly so I commend you for that. I thought that his up special could be his thrust boots, similar to Rob's recovery but less range and more mobility. I admit this is boring but the Slayer needs _some_ sort of recovery move after all. I don't believe his Meat hook should be shorter than Luigi's but not as much range as the Bellmont's tether grabs in order to keep a balance. I too think the equipment launcher could be an interesting use for his down special. Initially, I thought it could be his rocket launcher but I think it could be put into his weapon wheel (neutral B). Using the Equipment Launcher utilizes and represents Eternal much better. However, I don't believe the Siphon grenade should be included for balancing reasons, and the launcher should utilize the equipment from Eternal. Along with said equipment, I think because of how punishing getting frozen in Ultimate is, I believe the Ice Bomb should be an impact-based detonation, making it a bit harder to land but much more rewarding for players skilled enough. Along with that, I think the flame belch could be utilized in a similar manner, but without such a high cost. Perhaps it could instead allow more ammo to be granted with each attack for about 2.5-3 seconds depending on how long the opponent was caught in the belch. I also think it would be interesting to have the most shield damage out of all the specials (disregarding Weapon Wheel since those technically count as jabs) but have lots of end lag if the shield does not break. Speaking of his Final Smash, as I said earlier, I think it could be used in tandem with the Crucible. I was thinking something similar to Ken/Ryu where there is a range for melee and ranged final smashes. Multiple players can be caught within each final smash, but the ease of use and damage are its defining factors. Similar to Eternal, the BFG can not instantly kill certain demons, and this will translate into Smash in a way. Players are easily hit but take a lower amount of damage unless struck by the orb itself. The Crucible, on the other hand, is far more devastating if you're the one getting hit. However, being a melee attack its harder to hit and similar to Eternal, you only get three hits so there's less of a chance to get multiple people within this attack. That being said, damage does not change if multiple people are hit. In terms of costumes, I was thinking about a mix. Four costumes from Eternal, two costumes from 2016, two costumes from 1993. Because Eternal has more customization, there are more skins to represent him. However, 2016 should still have some representation (Eternal not counting as having access to these skins) and 1993 could feature him a little more pixelated with classic sound effects (BOOM! click clack clock). I had ideas about his stage, being able to transition between the Mars UAC facility, an Earth-based setting, and Hell itself with demons crawling around each transition. I do hope you enjoyed my ideas for the Slayer's edition that merged slightly (or entirely in some cases) with Brawl's ideas. What do y'all think?
I love it. There was a comment that I read farther up from yours that said that I replied to saying that there could be a dash to trigger a cinematic, that would lead to whoever getting caught being surrounded by demons, with doomguy shooting the BFG directly at them, orb hitting the group, leading to a small bit of launch. With my idea, the dash could be replaced with the sword
you already have almost as many fighters and smash ultimate does honestly someone should make a fan fighting game with these guys that being said what if the river city girls misako and kyoko were in smash

And this is coming from someone who would pay *_good money_* to get Doomguy in.
They expect us to pay extra on the game for new fighters with buying either them individually or the battle pass, which from a business standpoint it be ideal that they'd push their customers to get the battle pass as they get more money out of that, yet they do stupid crap like putting in a character from a overrepresented franchise into the game and a character from a franchise that nobody gave a crap about and didn't play when it launched with the Nintendo Switch. I understand they have two audiences with Super Smash Ultimate with the eastern fans from Japan and western audiences from North America having very different wants in terms of characters to be added into smash, yet that shouldn't mean one audience gets favored over the other and that's especially true when they're doing two DLC fighter passes that they could've came out to say that one fighter pass will specifically have eastern characters that the Japanese fans will love while the other will have western characters that'll cater to the western audience, but no instead they seem to foolishly cater mostly to eastern fans and try promoting franchises that are either overrepresented or nobody cared about as is the case with Arms.

Quick note, there was a test done to see if someone could carry all those weapons through an area. They used a marine and comparable weapons and he did it. I’m presuming Doomguy is much tougher than a marine so it’s totally do-able.
I feel like there are a lot of things that could be better, mainly because I have a bias for what Doomguy does and his mannerisms. So here's what I'd change. The Gimmick: The big problem is that all ammo is shared, which both don't make sense in any Doom game, and it's a bit... underpowered (if that's even a word). So I propose a separate ammo gimmick. What happens is that near the top-left of the Doom Slayer's Battle UI, could be the ammo for all his weapons, so shells at the top, then bullets, then cells, and then rockets. And for every melee attack, it gives a specific amount of ammo for each ammo pool. Also, the shell amount would be 20, the bullets would be 120, the cells would be 200, and the rockets would be 10. The Basic Attacks: Before the jab, I think when the Slayer starts to run, he gets a small boost forwards and plays the dashing sound from Eternal. But to the jab, I think the third attack should be the Slayer brings out his Doomblade and swings it left, instead of a roundhouse kick. For the Up Tilt, the Ballista... doesn't seem right. A cool side effect is that it can move you backwards if shot while airborne, so I say to use the Precision Bolt mod for the Heavy Cannon instead. For the Side Smash, the Chainsaw in Doom Eternal actually gives more than half your ammo, (though I'm not sure of the exact percentage) so I say to reward the Slayer with 2/3 of his maximum ammo pools, but only if the opponent is shielding, as I'm pretty sure you can't get shells, bullet, cells, and rockets from a weird bubble. For the Up Smash, I think the Slayer should also bring the Crucible back up by stabbing it upwards as a secondary attack. Now, a quick note for the Down Smash. The Blood Punch in Doom Eternal has to be recharged to use it, so in addition to his different ammo pools, he could have a Blood Punch icon that lights up if he can use it, and when used, has to recharge for about 6 seconds. But for the attack itself, it should be the same punch as the second jab, but will cause the shockwave if an opponent is hit. Back to where I was, the Forward Air could use the Ballista to shoot in front of himself and propel backwards, the Back Air could be a quick turn-around shot from his SSG, the Up Air could just be a quick sweep from right to left with his Doomblade, and finally, the Down Air could be the Heat Blast which sends him upwards in the process. The Grabs: For his pummel, I think there should be a 50/50 chance for when the slayer uses the attack, it randomly chooses for him to punch the foe in the gut, or their stupid face. And only for the Down Throw, should the punch the Slayer does at the end be a stomp to their face. (It just makes his job easier.) The Special Attacks: For the Side Special, you don't need to mash the B button, you can hold it. But that brings a new point, where if you let go, it could bring up the Energy shield mod, and when you hold the button again, he continues firing. And if he wants to stop, the joystick will have to be let go of. For the Up Special, the Meathook can only work if airborne, and if no opponents can be grabbed by the meathook, he'll just shoot the SSG downwards to propel himself upwards. (also 23:08 is funny hehe) Sorry bout' that, but for the Down Special, it could be similar to the Weapon Wheel in the modern Doom games where after pressing Down+B, you move the joystick to which thing to shoot (that being Frag Grenades, Flame Belch, and Ice Bomb), and once the buttons are let go of, it shoots that selected item, and if used without holding Down+B, it would just shoot what was chosen before. The Flame belch would heal 0.5% of damage when an armor pickup is... picked up, and all the equipment wouldn't take ammo from the pool, because... come on. The Final Smash: If you just press the button, it shoots the BFG as you described, but if held, something special happens. When held, another weapon wheel appears, but with 4 options to choose from, referencing all the Powerups in Doom Eternal (and 2016.) Berserk, Quad Damage/Onslaught, Haste/Overdrive, and Invulnerability. When Berserk is chosen, the Slayer's helmet will glow red slightly, and brings up his fists. The effect of Berserk last 10 seconds, and any attack from his moveset will just be punches, but they hit hard and rack up a LOT of damage. For Quad Damage/Onslaught, the Slayer's entire armor will glow purple slightly, and all attacks deal 4 times the normal damage, and the effects last 15 seconds. For Haste/Overdrive, the Slayer's helmet will glow yellow slightly, movement speed is increased, and all ammo pools are infinite for the time, which is 15 seconds. And for Invulnerability, the Slayer's entire armor will glow green slightly, and will take 1/3th damage of all attacks (mainly so it's not insanely broken) for 30 seconds. And if any opponent takes 250% of damage from any of these powerups except Invulnerability, they're as good as dead like heck. The Other Stuff: You missed that the Amber costume has the Doomblade on fire, though that's just an oversight (pun intended) on your end. For the stage intro, I think there should be a 50/50 chance of the portal being blue or red, referencing the late game where you power the Doom Fortress with the uhh... skull thing, that makes the fortress and portal red. For the victory animations, the first shouldn't have the Slayer noticing the camera, he'd just be seeing it and be waving his SSG, and for the last, he could also throw the weird coin before walking through the portal. Whew, that was a long read, huh? But still, the moveset is great and I think the changes in this comment could help it out a lot. Keep being awesome BJ. :) EDIT: HE F**KING MADE IT AS A MII FIGHTER!!!

It would also be wicked if Ranger from Quake and BJ Blaskowitz from Wolfenstein appear in the reveal trailer to be revealed to be skins for the DoomSlayer, effectively bringing the ID Trinity to Super Smash Bros Ultimate.

Or better yet they have his echo fighter be Ranger from Quake, the game that fully revolutionized 3D gaming when it launched with its engine, a engine that would later be tweaked in its sequel of Quake 2 and that version of ID tech would go on to help bring forth other 3D gaming engines including Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Ideally I'd love to have the whole ID trinity of FPS characters be in Smash with how important their games are to the video game industry, but if I have to choose either Wolfenstein or Quake then I'd go for Quake as aside from a lackluster game of Quake Champions, Quake as a whole is all but a forgotten franchise and that's a damn shame as it's a franchise that had such a big impact on the video game industry as a whole when it came out back in 1996.

No, it isn't. It's literally the Slayer's catchphrase. It's used all throughout the modern Doom games. Even as the title of a song. It might've originally been in there but it's no longer any sort of reference

What if...Gordon Freeman was in Smash?
1.)Why would he be in Smash?
Because Half-Life upgraded physics and storytelling in videogames,and Half-Life 2 is still considered one of the greatest games ever made.He would be another charachter from the west(which Smash Bros. lacks),and he would be the first Valve charachter.And now that Half Life Alyx is out,people are now in the Half-Life hype
2.)Movement
He would be middleweight charachter,with fast running speed.He would have 2 jumps,and have the ability to crawl.
3.)The moveset
-The A attacks
His jab is a 3 hit with his trusty crowbar
His side tilt is a simple forward kick(This references the Marines melee attack from the first Half-Life)
His down tilt is a swing with the crowbar from left to right
For his up tilt,he swings the crowbar around his head
His dash attack is long jump
For his fsmash,he grabs a hivehand,and SLAMS it onto the ground
For his upsmash,he equips his shotgun,and shoots upwards
And for his downsmash,he grabs a crate with the Gravity Gun,and spins it around
-The aerials
His nair is like Marths nair,but instead of a sword,it's with the crowbar
Fair is just a simple hit with the crowbar
For his uair,he grabs a Satchel Charge,and holds it up into the air.Then he would press the button on his remote,it would explode(This wont hurt Gordon)
Now for bair,this is where it gets interesting.He hits the opponents with the RPG,but he won't shoot a rocket,BUT,if you press B while he does the bair,he will shoot a rocket!This propels Gordon upwards a little,which helps him get back on the stage.And yes,you can control the rocket like Snakes Side-B(if Gordon lands on the stage he would still be able to control the rocket),but the rocket only last 5 seconds,and after 5 seconds it explodes.
His dair,he grabs the Gluon gun,but instead of shooting,he swings it downwards
-The B attacks
For his neutral B,he shoots an arrow with the crossbow!After 5 shots,he will run out of ammo,and after losing a stock,he will regain his ammo,kinda like Banjos Side-B
Speaking of side-B,for his side-B,he grabs the AR2,and shoots an energy ball.Sorry,this won't immediatly evaporate the opponents,that would be too broken,it will instead bounce off opponents.But this could evaporate items and assist charachters.You can't cancel the animation where Gordon is charging the AR2,which leaves him wide open for attacks.
For his up-B,he equips the Gaun Cannon,he charges it,then shoots downwards,which propells him upwards(this can spike)
And his Down B,he throws a Snark,which behaves like Bowser Jrs Down B.If it doesnt make contact with anything,it would just run around the stage for 10 seconds.But if it makes contact with anything,it would explode.You could only have 1 Snark onscreen at a time.
-The grabs
For his grab,he equips the Gravity Gun,and grabs the opponent with it
His pummel is simple,he just simply hits them with the crowbar
For his Fthrow,he shoots the opponent with the Colt Python
Uthrow is just him throwing the opppnent upwards with the gravity gun
Bthrow,he throws the opponents backward,then start rapidly shooting them with the 9mm pistol,like fox's bair
In his Dthrow,he throws the opponent on the ground,then start to shoot them with his SMG,and end the attack with the SMG grenade thingy
-Final smash His Gravity Gun is upgraded to the Super Gravity Gun,then he would start to catch every opponent on screen,like Luigis final smash,then a portal would appaer,which Gordon throws the opponent(s) in.The opponents will teleport to Xen,where Xen creatures start to attack the opponent(s) (Vortigaunts,Bullsquids etc.).Then Nihilanth would appaer,who will end the final smash by shooting a portal at them.If opponent is above 100%,it's an instant K.O
4.)Animations
-Entrance
His entrance is him coming out of a train,which references the beginning of both Half-Life games
-Taunts
In his side taunt,Alyx will appaer,and she would say "Nice shot,Gordon!",while Gordon reloads his gun (it's always random which weapon he will reload)
In his down taunt,Dr.Isaac Kleiner will appaer,and he would say "Exellent work,Dr.Freeman!"while Gordon does the pose he made in the main cover of Half-Life
And for his up taunt,Gman would appaer,and he would menacingly laugh,while Gordon suspiously looks at him
-Victory screens
In his first victory screen,a headcrab would try to attack Gordon,but Gordon will kill it with his crowbar,and it will end with Gordon doing a serious pose
In his next victory screen,D0G would grab the camera ,throw it at Gordon,which will end with Gordon catching the camera with the gravity gun
In his final victory screen,charachters from Half-Life 2 would cheer on Gordon(and maybe some civilians too),while Gordon reloads all of his weapons
5.)Stage
The stage is City 17.It's a travelling stage which travels to different parts of City 17.Combine soldiers,City Scanners(You would be able to destroy them) and civilians will watch the battle in the backround,and you would see Striders walk in the backround,and Synths would also fly around in the backround aswell.You would faintly hear Breen talking in the backround.The stage would later turn into a warzone,specifiecly the ending part of Half-Life 2.You would see rebels,combine soldiers,synths,striders etc. in the backround,fighting against eachother.You would have the chance to recruit rebels and combine soldiers if you have the chance,then they would aid you in battle(Give health,shoot opponent),but don't worry,you could K.O them.Also,the Breen voice would be replaced with Isaac's voice.
6.)Other stuff
-Colors
1st:replaces the orange part of his suit with green,which references Opposing Force
2nd:Like the first one,but instead of green it's blue which references Blue Shift
3rd:Replaces the HEV suit with the suit of Gina Cross
4th:Replaces the HEV suit with the suit of Colette Green
5th:Gets the color palette of the combine
6th:Everything is the same,but he now has his helmet
7th:This an alt,it's him in his lab coat
8th:His lab coat colors is replaced with the colors of Gmans suit
Boxing ring title:The man of few words
Classic mode:Its name is "A Half-Life",and the fights are against alien and robot-like charachters.Final boss is Marx,because he closely resembles Nihilanth.

Awesome moveset, I would just change a few things :
- The Tap Jab would be a 3-hit move, yet again. It would start with a strait forwards left punch too, but the second hit would be a strait forwards right punch, referencing the Doom 3 jab that uses both hands, and the third hit would be a horizontal left hook, like your moveset's second hit . Each hit would give back the same amount of ammo as in the video (1, then 2, then 3)
- The Hold Up Tilt and Hold Down Tilt would be exchanged, and there would be no mods on the Plasma Rifle, which would use 3 ammo rounds per shot, being the rapid-fire weapon it is.
- Holding down the Ballista's attack button will charge the shot, and releasing the button will shoot.
- There would be hold variations of the Aerial moves, which would mimic the hold variations of the ground moves : Combat Shotgun for the NAir, Heavy Cannon (which isn't really new by the way, it was basically in Doom 2016 under the name "Heavy Assault Rifle") for the FAir, Plasma Rifle for the UAir and Ballista as DAir and BAir. Each would keep their ground variant's properties and ammo cost.
- The Ballista also knocks the Slayer back while in mid-air, making both DAir and FAir spammable vertical and horizontal recovery moves respectively. You have infinite recovery with these moves, but that recovery would be almost painfully slow, and it would leave you very vulnerable to attacks.
- The Up-Throw would be the back Glory Kill on the Arachnotron, where he *grabs* the Arachnotron's back, pull it over his head and *throws* it in front of him.
- There would be no hold variations of the Special moves (except for the Up B and Down B, but I'll get to those moves later), just continuous firing if the button is held, and the Remote Detonation mod of the Rocket Launcher wouldn't be there. Plus, the Neutral B and Side B would be exchanged.
- The Super Shotgun would work the same as in the video, except two things : first, you could angle the direction you fire at, kinda like Greninja's Up B. Second, the meathook would have infinite range (like in Doom Eternal), but couldn't go through objects and, most importantly, *it wouldn't hatch onto ledges,* which means that to recover with it, the enemy would have to be on top of you, and there should be no obstacle between you and your foe (so it would be better to combine it with the previously mantionned DAir/BAir recovery).
- The Down B would remain the same... for one part. See, the Slayer would have a visual gimmick, the same as in D34D- 3Y3's comment : he would hold the last weapon he used while he doesn't attack (idle, walking, jumping, running, ect). The grenades would be the Slayer's Down B while he isn't holding a gun. If he used his Down B while he holds a gun, he would change said gun's mod, and if he holded his Down B, it would pull up a UI around the Slayer that lets you choose between 3 options, unmodded and 2 mods. The mods would be :
- For the Combat Shotgun : - *Sticky Bombs* : It would shoot a grenade-like bullet that would cling to the foe and explode very quickly. It would cost 6 ammo rounds per shot.
- *Full Auto* : As the name implies, it would just be a faster version of the unmodded Combat Shotgun. It would cost less ammo per shot tho, as it only would cost 1 ammo round per shot, whereas the unmodded Combat Shotgun costs 2 per shot. It refernces the mastery of the Full Auto mod in Doom Eternal, which gives you back ammo every time you hit something with it, and since giving ammo back would do the same as using less ammo, I decided to go with that.
- For the Heavy Cannon : - *Precision Bolt* : It would prevent all movement using the C-Stick while holding the gun, because it would
be used to angle the Heavy Cannon. After that, pressing the attack button would fire a very deadly shot, with very little knockback, but a very high damage imput. It would cost 10 ammo rounds per shot.
- *Micro-Missiles* : It would basically be the Lock-On Burst Mod on the Rocket Launcher, with more knockback and infinite range, but they wouldn't home-in. It would cost 12 ammo rounds per use.
- For the Plasma Rifle : - *Heat Blast* : As presented in the video.
- *Microwave Beam* : It would shoot a blue beam that would interrupt anything the foe was doing and stagger them, making them fall if they were in mid-air, while slowly wracking up damage. Once the foe released, the foe would stay staggered for about a second if under 100%, and launched pretty
far away if over 100%. It would cost 2 ammo rounds per second to use.
- For the Ballista : - *Arbalest* : It would basically be the Sticky Bomb mod of the Combat Shotgun with a little more knockback and less damage imput. It would spike if the projectile is attached to the top of the opponent's head. It would cost 10 ammo rounds per shot.
- *Destroyer Blade* : It would release an energy blade that would inflict twice the damage and twice the knockback as
a regular shot, but would also take twice more time to charge and cost twice more : 16 ammo rounds per shot.
- For the Chaingun : - *Mobile Turret* : It would open the Chaingun so it looks like a turret, which would essencially have the same result as an unmodded Chaingun, but 4 times quicker : Same damage delt, same ammo spent, but in a
quarter of the time.
- *Gun Shield* : It would summon an energy shield in front of the Slayer that would protect him from the front. The shield
in himself doesn't consume any ammo, it just vanishes after it has tanked 75% of damage, and takes 10 seconds to recharge. The Chaingun in itself still spends 6 ammo rounds per seconds.
- For the Rocket Launcher : - *Remote Detonation* : As presented in the video. It just costs 7 ammo rounds instead of 5.
- *Lock-On Burst* : As presented in the video. It just costs 12 ammo rounds instead of 15.
- For the Super Shotgun : - *Improved Onslaught* : It would double the damage delt and the ammo cost.
- *Flame Hook* : This would set the Meathook on fire. That fire would have the same effects as the Flame Belch's.
I should also mension that you can select the mods each gun has at the beginning of the match in the character select screen, just because it's pretty handy.
- The Final Smash is very good as it is, I would just add that, if a foe goes in contact with the Beefy Fireman in Green 9000's Energy Ball, said foe is automatically KOed and the final smash ends automatically.

- One of his taunts could have him pull out the Pistol, aim at the enemy and then fire it. The Pistol being a staple in the Doom games, I would kinda feel bad if it wasn't in. Plus, the Pistol is the base weapon in Doom, and is only effective against the weakest enemies. If he uses it, that means he finds the foe asweak as the base demons in his games. *Ouch.*
- For one of his victory animations, the Slayer could have Daisy running towards him and jumping in his arms, only for the Slayer to pet her in the back.

Being another Animal Crossing: Eternal fan, I drew up some plans for the Slayer but some of those ideas kinda clash with some good ones here. I'd love to hear feedback from lots of views!
I personally had the idea that the Doomslayer could switch between certain weapon using neutral B (other weapons of larger scales get their own specials), similar to Shulk's manado arts. These weapons could be fired upon using a normal jab similar to Inkling.
I personally think all his smash attacks could use the chainsaw due to the caliber of a weapon the Crucible is, and perhaps leave the Crucible for a combo with the Final Smash with the BFG. I do like the idea of Blood Punch being the down smash though and I think it represents Eternal much better.
For Grabs, I was thinking of utilizing the Super Shotgun with the new meat hook. I do admit that putting such a weapon in such a role does not seem befitting, but it would allow the slayer to have ranged grabs and tether to ledge. Along with this, I think a gimmick to be added is that when the grab connects, there is time when the victim is pulled towards the Slayer. If nothing happens, it results in a normal pummel. However, hitting A or B results in a super shotgun blast with lots of damage, knock-back and kill potential at the cost of more ammo than usual.
The chaingun being side special is something I had a similar in mind. Utilizing the weaker mod in 2016 is unique and I hadn't actually thought it could be utilized properly so I commend you for that.
I thought that his up special could be his thrust boots, similar to Rob's recovery but less range and more mobility. I admit this is boring but the Slayer needs _some_ sort of recovery move after all. I don't believe his Meat hook should be shorter than Luigi's but not as much range as the Bellmont's tether grabs in order to keep a balance.
I too think the equipment launcher could be an interesting use for his down special. Initially, I thought it could be his rocket launcher but I think it could be put into his weapon wheel (neutral B). Using the Equipment Launcher utilizes and represents Eternal much better. However, I don't believe the Siphon grenade should be included for balancing reasons, and the launcher should utilize the equipment from Eternal. Along with said equipment, I think because of how punishing getting frozen in Ultimate is, I believe the Ice Bomb should be an impact-based detonation, making it a bit harder to land but much more rewarding for players skilled enough. Along with that, I think the flame belch could be utilized in a similar manner, but without such a high cost. Perhaps it could instead allow more ammo to be granted with each attack for about 2.5-3 seconds depending on how long the opponent was caught in the belch. I also think it would be interesting to have the most shield damage out of all the specials (disregarding Weapon Wheel since those technically count as jabs) but have lots of end lag if the shield does not break.
Speaking of his Final Smash, as I said earlier, I think it could be used in tandem with the Crucible. I was thinking something similar to Ken/Ryu where there is a range for melee and ranged final smashes. Multiple players can be caught within each final smash, but the ease of use and damage are its defining factors. Similar to Eternal, the BFG can not instantly kill certain demons, and this will translate into Smash in a way. Players are easily hit but take a lower amount of damage unless struck by the orb itself. The Crucible, on the other hand, is far more devastating if you're the one getting hit. However, being a melee attack its harder to hit and similar to Eternal, you only get three hits so there's less of a chance to get multiple people within this attack. That being said, damage does not change if multiple people are hit.
In terms of costumes, I was thinking about a mix. Four costumes from Eternal, two costumes from 2016, two costumes from 1993. Because Eternal has more customization, there are more skins to represent him. However, 2016 should still have some representation (Eternal not counting as having access to these skins) and 1993 could feature him a little more pixelated with classic sound effects (BOOM! click clack clock).
I had ideas about his stage, being able to transition between the Mars UAC facility, an Earth-based setting, and Hell itself with demons crawling around each transition.
I do hope you enjoyed my ideas for the Slayer's edition that merged slightly (or entirely in some cases) with Brawl's ideas. What do y'all think?

There was a comment that I read farther up from yours that said that I replied to saying that there could be a dash to trigger a cinematic, that would lead to whoever getting caught being surrounded by demons, with doomguy shooting the BFG directly at them, orb hitting the group, leading to a small bit of launch. With my idea, the dash could be replaced with the sword

Off topic, but it seriously pains me knowing that the inclusion of Byleth in Sma5h wasn’t even controversial, with seemingly everyone uniting against him and his series.
And this is coming from someone who would pay *_good money_* to get Doomguy in.
They expect us to pay extra on the game for new fighters with buying either them individually or the battle pass, which from a business standpoint it be ideal that they'd push their customers to get the battle pass as they get more money out of that, yet they do stupid crap like putting in a character from a overrepresented franchise into the game and a character from a franchise that nobody gave a crap about and didn't play when it launched with the Nintendo Switch. I understand they have two audiences with Super Smash Ultimate with the eastern fans from Japan and western audiences from North America having very different wants in terms of characters to be added into smash, yet that shouldn't mean one audience gets favored over the other and that's especially true when they're doing two DLC fighter passes that they could've came out to say that one fighter pass will specifically have eastern characters that the Japanese fans will love while the other will have western characters that'll cater to the western audience, but no instead they seem to foolishly cater mostly to eastern fans and try promoting franchises that are either overrepresented or nobody cared about as is the case with Arms.

Quick note, there was a test done to see if someone could carry all those weapons through an area. They used a marine and comparable weapons and he did it. I’m presuming Doomguy is much tougher than a marine so it’s totally do-able.

I feel like there are a lot of things that could be better, mainly because I have a bias for what Doomguy does and his mannerisms. So here's what I'd change.
The Gimmick: The big problem is that all ammo is shared, which both don't make sense in any Doom game, and it's a bit... underpowered (if that's even a word). So I propose a separate ammo gimmick. What happens is that near the top-left of the Doom Slayer's Battle UI, could be the ammo for all his weapons, so shells at the top, then bullets, then cells, and then rockets. And for every melee attack, it gives a specific amount of ammo for each ammo pool. Also, the shell amount would be 20, the bullets would be 120, the cells would be 200, and the rockets would be 10.
The Basic Attacks: Before the jab, I think when the Slayer starts to run, he gets a small boost forwards and plays the dashing sound from Eternal. But to the jab, I think the third attack should be the Slayer brings out his Doomblade and swings it left, instead of a roundhouse kick. For the Up Tilt, the Ballista... doesn't seem right. A cool side effect is that it can move you backwards if shot while airborne, so I say to use the Precision Bolt mod for the Heavy Cannon instead. For the Side Smash, the Chainsaw in Doom Eternal actually gives more than half your ammo, (though I'm not sure of the exact percentage) so I say to reward the Slayer with 2/3 of his maximum ammo pools, but only if the opponent is shielding, as I'm pretty sure you can't get shells, bullet, cells, and rockets from a weird bubble. For the Up Smash, I think the Slayer should also bring the Crucible back up by stabbing it upwards as a secondary attack.
Now, a quick note for the Down Smash. The Blood Punch in Doom Eternal has to be recharged to use it, so in addition to his different ammo pools, he could have a Blood Punch icon that lights up if he can use it, and when used, has to recharge for about 6 seconds. But for the attack itself, it should be the same punch as the second jab, but will cause the shockwave if an opponent is hit. Back to where I was, the Forward Air could use the Ballista to shoot in front of himself and propel backwards, the Back Air could be a quick turn-around shot from his SSG, the Up Air could just be a quick sweep from right to left with his Doomblade, and finally, the Down Air could be the Heat Blast which sends him upwards in the process.
The Grabs: For his pummel, I think there should be a 50/50 chance for when the slayer uses the attack, it randomly chooses for him to punch the foe in the gut, or their stupid face. And only for the Down Throw, should the punch the Slayer does at the end be a stomp to their face. (It just makes his job easier.)
The Special Attacks: For the Side Special, you don't need to mash the B button, you can hold it. But that brings a new point, where if you let go, it could bring up the Energy shield mod, and when you hold the button again, he continues firing. And if he wants to stop, the joystick will have to be let go of. For the Up Special, the Meathook can only work if airborne, and if no opponents can be grabbed by the meathook, he'll just shoot the SSG downwards to propel himself upwards. (also 23:08 is funny hehe) Sorry bout' that, but for the Down Special, it could be similar to the Weapon Wheel in the modern Doom games where after pressing Down+B, you move the joystick to which thing to shoot (that being Frag Grenades, Flame Belch, and Ice Bomb), and once the buttons are let go of, it shoots that selected item, and if used without holding Down+B, it would just shoot what was chosen before. The Flame belch would heal 0.5% of damage when an armor pickup is... picked up, and all the equipment wouldn't take ammo from the pool, because... come on.
The Final Smash: If you just press the button, it shoots the BFG as you described, but if held, something special happens. When held, another weapon wheel appears, but with 4 options to choose from, referencing all the Powerups in Doom Eternal (and 2016.) Berserk, Quad Damage/Onslaught, Haste/Overdrive, and Invulnerability.
When Berserk is chosen, the Slayer's helmet will glow red slightly, and brings up his fists. The effect of Berserk last 10 seconds, and any attack from his moveset will just be punches, but they hit hard and rack up a LOT of damage.
For Quad Damage/Onslaught, the Slayer's entire armor will glow purple slightly, and all attacks deal 4 times the normal damage, and the effects last 15 seconds.
For Haste/Overdrive, the Slayer's helmet will glow yellow slightly, movement speed is increased, and all ammo pools are infinite for the time, which is 15 seconds.
And for Invulnerability, the Slayer's entire armor will glow green slightly, and will take 1/3th damage of all attacks (mainly so it's not insanely broken) for 30 seconds.
And if any opponent takes 250% of damage from any of these powerups except Invulnerability, they're as good as dead like heck.
The Other Stuff: You missed that the Amber costume has the Doomblade on fire, though that's just an oversight (pun intended) on your end. For the stage intro, I think there should be a 50/50 chance of the portal being blue or red, referencing the late game where you power the Doom Fortress with the uhh... skull thing, that makes the fortress and portal red. For the victory animations, the first shouldn't have the Slayer noticing the camera, he'd just be seeing it and be waving his SSG, and for the last, he could also throw the weird coin before walking through the portal.
Whew, that was a long read, huh? But still, the moveset is great and I think the changes in this comment could help it out a lot.
