I listened to this song so much when one of my best friend’s dad died. I was fairly close to him and this song brought me so much peace even though I didn’t really understand the depth of the words and the magnitude of Christ’s sacrifice for us at the time. Fast forward 8 years and God allowed life’s struggles to bring me down to my knees in complete surrender to Jesus. Satan tried to take my life in the midst of my anguish but Jesus did not allow that. In a depressed rage I crashed my car and it flipped over and everyone thought for sure the driver was dead but I not only didn’t die, I walked out from a flipped over car with a minor bump on my knee and finger. Jesus then healed my mind and pulled me out of the depths of suicidal depression and he reassured me that I only needed to hold on just a bit longer that he is coming soon for us who look to Him and live according to His will. My Lord Jesus Christ even if you don’t come in my lifetime, I will never again turn my back on you. Thank you for saving me.

Sometimes we complain about how much we have to do and if we add it all up it doesn't compare to what Christ Jesus has done for us. Our Risen Jesus is still ready and willing to come along with us on our journey here on earth. Why ? Because that's how great his love is !
