Street Fighter Alpha 3 [Arcade] - play as Final Bison

- This is a playthrough using Final Bison with S-ISM in the Arcade version of Street Fighter Alpha 3. Read on below for more information...
Final Bison is the final boss for almost all of the characters in SFA3. He is an unplayable character (or flag) in this version of the game.
===== ABOUT FINAL BISON =====
This is an alternative version of regular M.Bison, with some differences as follows:
---- The most significant difference is that he has a far more powerful version of the regular Psycho Crusher, which is called the Final Psycho Crusher instead. It's almost like a completely different move.
---- The other main difference he has is that his basic Hard Punch/Fierce moves are also powered up, as they now have a flaming fist aura that gives it a larger hitbox and range. His jumping Fierce is an example of this.
---- His crouching Hard Kick/Roundhouse slide comes out faster and recovers faster.
---- For his pre-fight intro, he levitates down whilst surrounded with energy.
===== ADDITIONAL INFORMATION =====
---- Final Bison is not an actual separate character in the game's data. Instead, he is an additional 'flag', which is activated on normal CPU M.Bison when the player faces him as the boss.
---- When this flag is activated, Bison gains several differences in his moves, as listed earlier.
---- For some reason, his Fierce punch energy/aura effects sometimes flashes a different shade of colour between rounds.
---- A unique ISM is allocated for the CPU Final Bison. This ISM is also known as S-ISM (Shadaloo-ISM). However this ISM is a separate entity and does not come with Final Bison.
---- The unique S-ISM is a non-selectable ISM.
---- The S-ISM in the Arcade and PS1 versions of the game actually works just like A-ISM (where you get 3 Levels of gauge). On the S-ISM gauge though, the 3 segments are not indicated - instead it appears to be one whole level power bar (like X-ISM), but it functions exactly like the A-ISM. This means that when using it, you cannot tell if you have Level 1 or Level 2 available... you have to judge it by using the amount of gauge charged up.
---- When CPU Final Bison (or any of the other bosses like Juli & Juni) have the S-ISM gauge, the CPU never uses Level 1 or Level 2 supers.
---- If you select Final Bison with X-ISM, his Psycho Crusher special move will be invisible.
---- When fighting against Rose in a normal match, his pre-fight intro with her is incorrect in this version (she doesn't throw her cards at him, yet Bison does the palm animation). You can see this starting around 11:10 in the video.
---- In the video you can see that I sometimes use Level 1 or Level 2 Final Psycho Crushers, something the CPU Final Bison never does (CPU only uses Level 3 Final Psycho Crusher).
---- He has the Knee Press Nightmare super combo as well. This isn't a surprise really.
---- You can fully complete the game with him. You'll get regular Bison's route, dialogues and ending. This isn't a surprise because technically it's really just regular Bison anyway.
---- He is known as Vega in Japan.
---- He can also be known as Shin Bison, Shin Vega or Final Vega. - เกม

I remember getting hit by it. I could not beat him. I got to him with Blanka, and after losing to him, I was going to see if I could beat him with Cammy, but the semi-final match was worse, I had to fight Juni and Juli, and I could not beat them.
If Bison gets in Smash, his Final Psycho Crusher's liable to be his Final Smash, overpowering.
He's so overpowered.
Awwyeah. A proud moment for me when I figured out how to make this work in MAME. Fun fact: The PSX version is the same game engine.
The boss flag also effects some other characters, but I'm not sure of any actual changes besides Balrog's intro. If anything, it's probably all move tweaks that I'm not good enough to notice.

@catcat6008 To unlock Final Bison, simply complete Arcade Mode by beating the final stage at difficulty level 4 or higher. Now, highlight M. Bison and hold start when selecting him. If the Ism Select is skipped, that means you are now playing as Final Bison.

Yea I swear you already did a video on Final Bison before. Maybe you wanted a better video, or you're playing a hacked version, I donno. But it's not really "True" S-ism unless pressing the light punch for Final Psycho Crusher super move also takes 3 meters like X-ism does.
Otherwise, nice gameplay, I suppose.

I prefer the name Vega, like he was called in Japan. Balrog was called Mike Bison in Japan, but Capcom changed his name to Balrog in the American version, because they were afraid of a lawsuit from Mike Tyson. M. Bison and Balrog could be the only ones to have their names switched around.

@@TheBlueprintsOrlando Yeah, Mike Tyson gave a speech about that. I read that when Mike Tyson saw himself in the first Street Fighter game, he told Capcom not to put him in anymore Street Fighter games. If that's true, he warned them that if they do that, he will punch them in the face. Mike Tyson also gave a warning that if he gets put into anymore titles without his permission, he will punch them in the face.

I have to be careful about giving off info like that, because there are times I get criticisms for posting garbage, and they are criticism that I deserve for posting criminal things. @@devilmandiavolo2876 Is the original Mike really Mike Tyson? I'm not sure about that, because only his first name is shown. In the Japanese version of Street Fighter 2, the American boxer is named Mike Bison, and some people believe that is the same Mike from Street Fighter 1, because their first name is Mike, they are a representative of Mike Tyson, and they are American boxers. I kind of did wonder about that after knowing the name of the American boxer from the Japanese version of Street Fighter 2. Someone posted about getting word from Capcom that they are different characters. In Street Fighter 5, I saw Balrog (who was called Mike Bison in Japan) had a costume that made him look completely like Mike from Street Fighter 1. Could this point out that he is the same Mike from Street Fighter 1? I also saw some characters dressing up like characters from other Capcom games, but do not confuse them as really being those characters (like Megaman was Ryu, Kenji was Zeku, Ingrid was Karen, etc.), because they are not. I used to think Ingrid was a Street Fighter character, because she was in Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max, but her appearance in there was just a cameo appearance, and according to Capcom, she is not a Street Fighter character. Karen and Ingrid are in Capcom Fighting Evolution as separate characters, so they are not the same characters. For some reason, I do not understand the Arcade Mode for Street Fighter 5. I noticed that whatever mode I pick, it has the characters from those games, but only the ones that are on the Street Fighter 5 roster, because it's Street Fighter 5, plus some other characters which were probably replacement characters. Someone was smart enough to know that there are characters that get replaced in the Street Fighter series. Someone posted that M. Bison was Diktator (misspelled, because the true spelling is d-i-c-t-a-t-o-r) in the Japanese version, and he was a representative of Adolf Hitler, but his name and appearance were replaced outside of Japan, because of a copyright that still lives on to this day.
Final Bison is playable in the PSP version, i believe. I think you have to beat him first to unlock.

I remember seeing Maximilian Dood battle against this character in Boss Rage. His Final Psycho Crusher move really is the most abusable super in fighting game history.

Only in psp(alpha 3 max), gba(alpha 3 upper) and dreamcast.
Impossible on ps1 version unless you have a gameshark or action replay cheat code device.

@@diegsternator0917 Thank goodness there is a version which doesn't need to be hacked! That version is Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper for Game Boy Advance. Hold start while choosing Bison and you're good to psycho-crush everyone.

Put the cursor on Bison and then press the select button (or the equivalent on whatever console you're using). I assume Shin Akuma works the same way.
but shin vega is unlockable only for the arcade version? or even for the normal version for ps1? however you have not written what you need to do to unlock it !!
