Leds are great. Less heat, less maintenance, less cost. The price seems reasonable. Some people on Amazon report 3 hours of playback time. No Netflix is a bit strange though and could be a dealbreaker.
Hey, nice video. About the black noise: Is it only visible in the Netflix-menu or in general whenever there's a black area in the image? Also, would you still recommend this projector or has you opinion changed? Thx
Awesome indeed 👏👏. It ticks so many boxes, it sounds great and it's looks quite portable. Hopefully they add Netflix in the future. Great content Chris as always🙂 ✌✌
Hi, good video. i just got this device couple days ago and i have some issue, the wifi connection is not good at all, i got 70 mb on my laptop while everything i play on this device buffer and how do you close background running app? usually on the nvidia you double tap the home button but its not working on halo.
@@MsAdreaL Typically all projectors are best in the dark or even a dim setting, even for class work and presentations. But there are few exceptions where a few can shine in the light. Those are the laser projectors and/or short throw projectors. Cost is up there a bit but performance is leagues ahead of the average 780p or 1080p. Even a few mini projectors by the high end name brands are better on average but still suffer a more washed out look in too much light. The Xgimi Halo is in that bracket. I recommend you search on Amazon for the best one that suits you. It really all depends on not just definition but the number of lumens and functionality.
Great review, just to note the 2nd gen of the Xiaomi compact projector (aka the Global version of the "Youth Edition 2") Has Netflix built in - the remote has the Netflix button, just like their TV box. Model number is M055MGN (or SJL4021US if you're in the US, available through Walmart). It also has auto-focus and horizontal keystone.
Good review i was just looking at this beamer today ,i seen reviews that say that the Netflix app can be sideloaded .But for the price it should just work without any hastle ..

Did you ever notice some kid of coil whine when at full brightness?
I've had this one since last year and I love it!
Nice, yes much better than I expected for the size of it.
I agree with the review. Expanse is a masterpiece
It is. If you like SiFi, it's a must watch!
Great content as always Chris Sir
Much appreciated

They havs given me a work around to fix it and they are working to have it fixed. So one less issue. Fan noise is also very good on this one.
@@Techtablets Nice to hear.
A firestick.
Can you screen mirror?
Hi, 1. can we change the picture size? 2. Does it have a lens cover?

Hi, Can you please tell me if it has 3D feature as the Amazon website indicate it does ?
Thanks in advance
Pls mentioned details about the distance you projected & how many inches u are able to achieve?
Distance minimal 20 meter
Im starting to check all your video sir. All as good value information, great explanations, would love to see more content. Recommended.💯
Hi, it possible to turn off MEMC? thx
How does this compare to the mogo2 ?
Please tell me how this compares to mogo 2 pro. I’m torn between the 2
Halo+ is the one to get.of them.
Thanks for your review! Do you know if it supports bluetooth headphones?
Hi, I also noticed the noise in the dark scenes, do you know if there is a way to attenuate it? thanks
Thanks for the review. If the projector is placed about 3.5m away can it be adjusted to make the projected screen smaller?
did they fixed the Netflix thing ????
how easy is it to mirror an iPhone or iPad?
Can you still cast Netflix from a mobile device to the projector?

How can I fix the noise problem?
Thanks for the good review.
Is it possible to mirror an iPhone screen with it ?
Does the power supply have to be plugged in the whole time?
Did you run into any issues connecting the ps5 to the projector?
hi there..I am pretty sure they will add netflix support in the future, but not sure about netfoot though..
Hi projector Xiaomi Mi M055MGN is good for watching movies???
Nice review, whats the difference for the keystone correction compared to the mogo pro +?
Nothing difference, maybe horizon is quicker?
Would it look good being used in the daytime, with a the lights on (to show kids in a classroom)?
You'd lose some picture but not too much. It should still be viewable.
@@jay21281 Ah ok - Do they have other portable models that are more well suited for indoor, daytime viewing?

Can't find it in eu, can you share a link?
So is it short throw or not? According to listing it is but I don't see anyone having short to their screen.
The throw ratio is 1.2, is it short throw?
Is it okay to charge the device while it's projecting? If I wanted to binge longer than 2 hours
Yes it's fine it does both at the same time no issues.
Is this worth 520 gbp?
Please review dangbei X3. Probably best laser projector in the market rn.
I just bought one and my Halo has a boarder of light visible around the screen. Is this normal? I've heard it called side splash...?
It is normal, try to make projector don't do keystone correction.
Does it do 1080 @ 60hz?
(so many of these projectors only do 30hz...)
Yes 1080 60
wonder if they make a 4K version ??
Not of the Halo but other models.
good review! hoping to see a comparison to the xiaomi smart projector :)
I hope to review them but Xiaomi will not loan me one.

Thanks for the info I will have to try. But yes it should just work out of the box.
you never mention the price...
I don't normally now as it's always changing often. But there is a link to where you can see the current price.
Hello 👋
Hi
no netflix working ... thats bad ..
IS HART TO CLEAN
Unfortunately the brightness is not upto the mark better to go for epson tw7100
Which is a completely different type of projector and twice the price.
Har-mon Card On.
First like and first comment ❤️
Congratulations
🎉
BUT IS HEATED TO MUSH AND STOP
Honestly, two hours video is not that tempting. No Lord of the Rings 🤷🏻♂️. Better a non-smart screen
