Best part about this ride is it has more to do with the motion and sound of the coaster than it does that actual site. When it first opened my family and I rode it 7 times in a row. It was awesome. Can't wait in 2 weeks going to be down there again.

@1012disneygirl If you want to be technical about it the parks on are Bay Lake, although the main exit off highway 4 and the mailing addresses for the parks are in Buena Vista. Both Lake Buena Vista and Bay Lake are incorporated cities that are owned and operated by Disney and are not part of the city of Orlando.
@LukesterRoar They're similar, but Flight of Fear is way darker, a tiny bit slower, shorter, and way more packed together. Flight of Fear is a Premier Rides coaster, so it's pretty smooth while this is a Vekoma, and is pretty rough.
When I was younger I was always too short to ride this. My parents and siblings took turns watching me. To this day I still havent ridden this yet! T^T
@PatchLil this was acully my first rollercoaster. the wait in line will be nerve racking but once you get on and take off all the fear turns into pure fun leaving you wanting to go back on agian and again. dont know why but the fact that its dark make it so much better, hope you have as much fun as i did
when i went on this 3 weeks ago i managed to somehow Zen-like focus my mind and didn't even feel scared...or maybe i was passed scared i dont know but it was cool my first fast indoor rollercoaster

@jo951000 theres no big drops. im scared of roller coasters because of those drops. but i went on this one and there is non. the launch dose kinda feel like a drop though. this is a amazing ride.

@LOZmaster85RB It would be nice at DCA, but don't you think WDW and WDS should have this to their own? DCA already has California Screamin' anyway. Two launch coasters at one Disney Park would be kind of overwhelming for a Disney Park, wouldn't you think?

I love this ride... and for the first half, you really can't tell wether or not you're upside down.

At the starting point, it goes from 0 to 60 mph in something like 2.8 seconds. It's really fun!

@tanchiky a corkscrew is basicly a "streched out loop". Or i guess you can also call it a "twist". Its hard to explain.

Is this ride better in person? I'd guess it is, you can't see any better, but you can feel the movements of the track.
