DIY Macrame Bag Strap | Macrame Bag Strap Tutorial
Hi Macrame Lovers...
Have a bag but no strap, or the strap is broken? Just make it from cotton rope. In this video, there are interesting ideas for making macrame bag straps from cotton straps in various colors. Here I use 4 colors.
The following materials are needed to make this colorful Macrame Bag Strap:
1. 3mm cotton rope
mocha = 1 x 440 cm
Mocha = 1 x 230 cm
orange brick = 2 x 230 cm
black = 2 x 230 cm
Tosca = 1 x 27 cm
tosca = 1 x 170 cm
2. Bag hooks measuring 2.5 cm as much as 2 pcs
3. Scissors
4. Tapestry needle (optional)
The final size of this colorful macrame bag strap is: 108 cm long (counting from the end of the bag hook)
The knot used in making this macrame bag strap: Half hitch knot, square knot, square knot variations, braided knot. If you are still unfamiliar with these knots, you can learn about them in my video about macrame basic knots (link provided below).
