From Toronto, Canada here. I bought my 2011 C300 Manual in June 2010. It was a special order, waited 5 months for the delivery from Germany. Still driving it to this day. It's so rare here in Canada too.
Love these rare manual cars. They don’t make cars like these anymore. And a manual car that passes the BFB test! (Want to note that it’s marked as a fail on the spreadsheet by mistake.) Great job on the review!
I have a 2009 model, with only 35k miles on it. It was previously owned by my Grandmother, who only put 10k miles on it. One of my favorite things about this car are the cupholders. They did away with the quirky pop out design and made them practical.
@@sunnohhFunny thing is the W211 E320 CDIs are still serving as taxis in Europe. As are the W212s. Both those chassis are capable of doing a million kms and more.
Very glad to see that manuals got fans over the Atlantic as well as in Europe. Last year when I was in a search of C300 manual there was only 6 of them in the biggest aftermarket car website in Germany. So they're also extremely rare in Europe. But in Europe we have estate along with the sedan version. That's what I bought and now I own probaby the only one C300 2009 estate manual in my country(Bulgaria).😂

People talk about how much they want manuals but the sales numbers show a different story. I had a 2016 Mercedes C300 (W205) and they only came equipped with an automatic, the diesel engine could get a 6 speed manual as an option for select European markets but to my knowledge MB discontinued manual gear boxes for cars exported to North Amerika by around 2014.
The slk of that era also had the manual transmission as well and was more common in that vehicle since Mercedes at that time was promoting their new 6 speed.manual which is an excellent transmission I must say.
They are rare because all of the people who claim manuals are better aren’t talking with their wallets. I’ve given up on manuals back in 2020 because I hate having to either go to a different state or wait 6 months for a 6spd
My mom has the 2011 c300. Love that thing just miss it. Around a year ago my dad took it to get brakes put in and he went to pick it up and it wouldn’t start anymore. Been trying to figure out what’s wrong with it since😢
Hey nothing like watching a video of the same car I own! Except In silver I’ve had to replace the rear frame and my engine mounts so far! At 117k miles great review! The mpg does drive me nuts at times!
Very interesting. I have a 2008 C300 manual and I have the sport steering wheel with an aluminum-look shift knob. That is the luxury steering wheel/trim on the test vehicle. Strange that you could get that with a manual.
The manual C300 is one of those cars for me thats like... I really like it. Just not enough for it to be one of the cars I own. I think I'd enjoy owning one, but there are too many cars I'd own first. I love the gauges though.

I had my 2010 C300 manual taken in for a repair and was given the new EQS rental for two weeks. After two weeks, I still choose my manual.

True enthusiasts want manuals, but we are the minority. You can thank the idiots who can't drive a stick, for making a manual so hard to find.
