True hair removal creams are very bad for the skin. It left mine red and burning once. I was surprised none of their skins had that reaction. Some people just have great genetics.

@@priyankakannan8228 i mostly epilate... i am too lazy to go to parlour and home parlour facility is not available at my place.. so epilating is more convenient and reliable source of hair removal for me... i tried to wax myself once but it was so hot that i peeled my skin out 😅
i also use veet wax strips but not so effective on me since my hairs are too hard...
but as i said may be i am thick skinned... i don't find any of the methods that painful.. except laser in older days.. when technology wasn't so advanced and it used to leave burn marks or tiny blisters on my face...
I've no idea why shaving isn't more prevalent. It's the easiest non painful stuff. Although women get used to things... I've a di who has thick hair and she still waxes herself easily.

Same here, I use the epilator on my legs because I don't want to spend hundreds on waxing every few weeks. I've been doing it since 14, it's not that big a deal.

But fortunately for me, nobody told me to shave. Neither does my family nor do the people I surround myself with. I don't epilate when I don't feel like and I don't give a damn about it.
I do it when I want smooth skin or something lmao . I just like the way my skin feels after. And yes the skin sensitivity to it did reduce. Atleast for me

I eventually got immune to the waxing pain. It's only the underarms and upper lip where you can never get immune to the pain. I have to say, you guys are pretty brave to try it.
