Am shocked how u got, the secrete to Ghanaians like eggs. You are very right, dont know who told you, but u very right. Some years ago, there were alot of education from the health professionals to the public to learn to balance our diets, and to learn to eat atleast one egg a day to get pur proteins if meat is expensive for u to afford and to help reduce kwashiorkor in children. Are mothers were adviced to eat alot of leaves,bi mean salade, avocado and alot.
I remember there were education to stop eating "wele" what Nigerians call "pormo" because it has no nutritional values. That is why u dont see that much in our food except for waakye and okoro stews.
But Nigerians eat that alot. They have it in every food.
That is why Ghanaians are mindful of their diet. Hence the too much of egg, avocado, salade and the rest
The reason we add plaintains to our fufu is that; the cassava is starchy and only contains carbohydrates. But the plantains contains "ion" so we add to the cassava to balance it. So u get in your meal, the fufu; you get carbohydrates, ion, protains from your meat and fish and the rest. But Nigerians have been laughing of us adding plantain to the cassava, not knowing of the reason. We Ghanaians are very mindful of meals. But today hardship and the high cost of thing have cause people to eat any how.

We Ghanaians have very very good and crispy gari. But as Ghanaians we do not eat gari every day like Nigerians do, in Ghana gari is added to beans, waakye or made in gari fotow. That is gari joloff. And for your attention l do not understand Nigerians always saying Ghana. Is hot. That is a lie, Ghana is in the same. Line with Nigeria which is close to the equatorr. There is not much difference in temperature. Central Africa, East Africa and South Africa are the places you can notice a lot of difference in the temprature. So Nigerians should stop lying about Ghana being hotter than Nigeria.

There's nothing to lie about here, if you have been to Nigeria before am sure you'd be the one saying Ghana is hotter, cos you'll be speaking out of experience. One love. ✌
