I went to Ustad Imrat Khan's concert when he visited Seattle in about 2006. I heard him say to another sitar player that when you play from your heart, the people that hear enjoy it because it comes from your heart. The other sitar player was wanting to know how to play correctly. He was a professional in his own right, but this Ustad goes straight to the heart.
No thanks to anything but the my own will to get up in the morning and continue to strive and get better at an instrument, here professionals of other instruments play by themselves or in a group of other instruments. All proving that it is possible to achieve musical greatness no matter your situation.
Hey, I had a friend who went by the name moonocean27. I'm sorry for talking about our friendship in public. For some reason we drifted apart since the last few months. I miss you and hope to reconnect some day. Just thought I'd leave a trail of comments on all the videos we had exchanged so that perhaps some day we might run into each other. So please reply if you find me here fren. It's fine if you don't want to talk to me too. All cool. You're the best. Yours, galaxyartist
