- / loisdavidsonart Here's an extra video for you this weekend as I am currently in lockdown for the next 4 weeks so have more time to paint.
This painting was inspired by the great Edward Seago, one of my favourite artists. Many thanks to my Patrons for supporting this channel! - บันเทิง
A fresh clean soft coastal delight 💙
Hi Lois ! Your paintings have always been inspirational. Your narration as you paint, is highly informative. You are not just an amazing artist but a great teacher too🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so much for your kind words!
Lovely! I am so glad I just bought it! Can't wait to hang it on one of my walls.
Wow! Thank you so much, I really appreciate your purchase, and your kind comments. I shall post to you very soon! Thanks again and all best wishes
I’ve seen some beaches, and I mean SOME. Shores, coastlines - stormy, shiny, wintery... you name it, I’ve seen it. But this?! Perfection!!! Thank you...
Thank you!
It's beautiful. I love the way you use few colors and make it so easy to work on.
beautiful seascape on paper...
Another lovely painting. I have noticed with a lot of tutorials that artists steer clear of red and green (unless for flowers). The blues, yellow ochre and raw sienna must be more pleasing to the eye.
Lois this is so inspiring - I will give it a try/. Thank you once again for all your help and instruction. x
Lovely Lois! Can't wait to have a try at this one...stay safe and thanks for sharing.
love this, looking forward to trying it. Thanks.
This is great, Lois. Nice and loose. I love Seago, too. Nice job! :)
Thank you!
Magnificent!
Magnífic painting! From Portugal, thank you for sharing!

Thank you for such clear helpful instructions! I’ve learned so much! ❤️
Another gem👏👏🙏
Thanks so much!
Lois absolutely amazing picture of your own expression of a seascape scene, good detail depth and colour. Fairly close to where I live over the boarder of sunny Devon! !, thanks appreciated stay safe
Thanks so much Philip :-)
Wonderful work, your work stimulates me. Thank you very much 😊💖
thanks!
😘😘😘
Only beautiful talent 👍
Thanks so much for your lovely comment 😊💐
Nice👍
Thanks 😊
🎨❤️
Lovely paintings every time, Lois. One question: at what point do you tape your paper to the board? And how do you prevent the cockling?
Regards
Steve
I tape it before i start to paint, it does warp a bit as I paint, but it then contracts as it dries with the tape still on, so it ends up flat!
☺👍👏👏👏❤
Thanks 😊💐
