I love this guy, I've always loved space and planets and this guy has satisfied my space geekiness that no one else wants to hear about. Thank you, please keep making more videos, much love :)
I'm pretty upset that they didn't put Triton on the list... 😭 However, you still did a pretty good job with the tier list (I was eagerly waiting to see what you would do with Eris)!
I think Uranus should have been higher, noone takes uranus seriously because of its name and apearence but its cooler than anyone thinks. Almost everything about it is different from the other planets from its bland athmosphere to its cold core, even its rings are different with heat coming from them that are hotter than the planet's core. (i might be wrong about some things because i do my research on google)
Few corrections, Venus actually spins clockwise, the other planets spin counter-clockwise. The image you showed of pluto where it had lots of colour wasn’t just an edited photo, it’s a real image from new horizons displaying some of the beautiful minerals on its surface.
tbh all dwarf planets should just be normal planets. pluto just looks too cool, haumea is one of our 2 oval shaped solar system things and has rings, and ceres atleast got an atmosphere.
In the summer I remember I and some friends were biking one night I see on the corner of my eye something bright like blue ish zoom over the sky probably one of the coolest things I’ve seen
Uranus actually expelled some of its upper atmosphere before Voyager 2 visited it, and when Voyager 2 got to its perihelion, it passed through the gas and sensed something weird and smelly.
Also I'd like to add a fun fact about both Venus and Mars (and Mercury) Around 4.2 bilions years ago Mars used to be much like Earth and while it is not confirmed like was on the planet it did have oceans and a decent temperable aswell as a sustainable atmosphere. But 4 billion years ago, the Martian core cooled, destroying the main factor that sustained its magnetic field. That left the planet vulnerable to the solar winds and this clawed away the atmosphere, and caused the Martian water to sputter into space. The climate before this was pretty much warm and wet, we could say almost Tropical. Around the same time it seems Venus had less carbon dioxide in its atmosphere and had 99% more water then now, thus possibly habitable aswell. It's not sure why the layers of CO2 increased and why the planet went trough such a harsh transformation in what it is right now. Before the atmosphere got too thick and the water evaporated Venus could have had a Tropical kind of temperature and some Earth-like desertic one with the expecting at the poles where the temperature was possibly Mediterrean alike and cold. Some recent research also speculated that some "ingredients for life" were under Mercury's early surface but then disappeared, but this last claim is pretty much not confirmed fully.
because of moon there is some light in night and most of the animals rely on moon light, it makes the 4 seasons because it tilts the earth and the moon is the natural satellite, so we need the moon as much we need the sun (still love your vids and you are my fav space youtuber)
9:10 It is a bit more complicated than that Before the rule for being a planet was that the object had to be smaller than Pluto but when they found Eris they found that the radius was smaller but the mass bigger so the IAU thaught of a scientific way to ban Pluto RIP Pluto 1930-2006
tbh i like most dwarf planets, they should be planets, pluto just looks and sounds like one, haumea is a oval and got rings, ceres just is not a asteroid and has a atmosphere.
I think Jupiter should be S Tier tbh, I may have a bias because it's my favourite planet, but it uses it's gravity to protect the Earth from asteroids, shielding life. That is S Tier material in my opinion.
Fun Fact: Neptune is the only planet in the solar system that has an upside-down atmosphere, that is, the lower atmosphere is up and the upper atmosphere is down
Bro, Mercury's orbit was the thing that made scientists realize that Relativity and weird awsome stuff happends, I'd put it higher The reason of Pluto being dwarf planet is to not learn 100 planets
hey calvin! Fun fact, Eris is classified as a moon, sometimes (or a planet sometimes aswell), and if it was fully classified a moon. would you put it in s or a ? it actually has a moon too!
Titan also does have liquid water in its subsurface, but it’s quite deep. It also has atmosphere of 1.6x the earths, just some facts to know. - No complaints of how you rated it.
Only planets and star and dwarf planets on S tier: Sun, Earth - A tier: Mars, Jupiter, Pluto, Europa, Ganymede, Io, Titan - B tier: Venus, Saturn, Enceladus, Haumea, Haley's Comet - C tier: Mercury, Neptune, Charon, Moon, Callisto, Lapetus, Makemake, Ceres - D tier: Uranus, Phobos, Rhea - F tier: Deimos, Eris
That's nice, I agree with most of this, I don't like putting anything in the f tier, gotta give sympathy points
yes
I agree
i disagree with the moon, as it gives us night and helps us sleep, so its an s tier.
@@arandomuserb1 yea
I'd give Haumea straight S tier without thinking about it.
personally i would put jupiter in S tier. it protects the inner planets from asteroid belt objects

😅
And the trident if it happens. Trident explores trition duh lol.
Looking forward to that! Titan used to be a singular planet until running into Saturn and orbiting it.
Fun fact: Saturn's moon named rhea has it's own rings like uranus
no it doesn't because any rings on moons would be torn part by the planet the 'ringed' moon that orbits it
@@FlynnBottleAdore idk man, google says otherwise
It does but way smaller
The rings aren’t comfirmed

Other thing about Haumea are its rings (Haumea have a smalls ring what are almost invisible)

ganymede seems like it would have been in the asteroid belt, but since it is so big, it was taken by jupiter and made into a moon
