Amen. A wonderful message to think on. "In a world filled with change and uncertainty, we need some form of stability." Truer words were never spoken! Every day we awaken to some new uncertainty, especially in the political arena, where there seems to be no rest for the innocent victims of political unrest. This is especially true in the Holy Land where, as the center of Christian faith, one would suppose that peace would exist. This is especially interesting since we read in Genesis 25:23 concerning those very same people, "And the Lord said to her, " Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples from within you shall be divided, the one shall be stronger than the other, the older shall serve the younger." It is especially disheartening that the worst would happen between the descendants of Jacob and Esau. While religious differences are a mitigating circumstances, there is no cause for the innocent victims of political unrest. It is so unsettling when the answer to settling our differences are taken out on the poor and innocent victims by war. This is another sign that our culture has drifted away from the word of God. The reality of faith is not through the negativity of war. The reality of faith is that through the word of God we will grow beyond the mistakes our ancestors made and develop the same kind of love that He has for us. No matter what we face in life, there is no reason that an acceptable consensus can not be reached. What is more important than the gift of life? How do we justify taking something that is not ours to take? All this takes away from the meaning which our Lord gifted us with by the indiscriminate taking of another life! Where in God's word do we read about sacrificing another's life for our own benefit? Love your neighbor as you love yourself! That is the teaching I read! We continually are justifying the whole book of Revelations by the way we seek to erroneously try to justify our actions towards others! When that day comes, whoa to those who have forgotten the meaning of life and more importantly, the love that God has for it. 🙏💖🕊🕊🕊
