- Empires season 2 begins! GeminiTay spawns in the minecraft 1.19 update and gets started in the world. Introducing her princess character who will be doing a sunrise/sunset themed base! This empire is off to a strong start, with some basic farms and a simple house, plus knowledge of a missing dragon. Excited to show you our story this season!

So excited. OKAY SO imagine this: using glowstone and the shroomlights as part of the gradient too to make it like a sunlight bright top roofs during nighttime and being like the sunshine empire. I'm so excited for this series to be back

I kinda love the sun theme because even though you didn’t explicitly say last season that The Crystal Cliffs was moon themed it definitely had some influence colour palate wise and also the fact that you wizard tower had a giant moon, so it’s kinda like you doing opposite from last season!

I love the fact that False took Pearl's place and am excited to see what sort of Empire she'll create! I think the princess is perfect for Gem! I like the possible tie in of the dragon being missing from season one when a certain wizard took it to her Empire for safe keeping.

I'm glad to see Gem going in this direction for her empire! Last season, she went more into the wizard/headmistress direction, which don't get me wrong, I liked, but seeing a princess/regal building style is really exciting! Her new character looks like a lot of fun.

Oh! Since the Allay is quite difficult to find, and very fairy/pixie like in appearance, do you figure that could be a lore device? Nothing too concrete since it may not spawn conveniently, but something like a folktale creature that may, not sure, bestow favor? Powers? Curse who traps it? Interested to see how you all incorporate all new update stuff!! 😁 Same with the Warden, if you'd like. Completely understand staying away from it though. 😅

The theme suits Gem's happy and positive personality I love the starter house it's really nice
In Greek mythology, Helios is god of the sun, so to incorporate that into the name somehow would be very cool :D

the kingdom of the sun theme is really interesting! i love the bright gradients you're going for. i do wonder why your character is a princess if she rules over her kingdom with no higher authority. it could be just a title preference, but i'd like to think that she considers the sun the true ruler of her kingdom, and she is like its daughter, something like that! it's super cool, got my brain moving!
I think she is the Daughter of the Sun Mother, or something like that. However most of the medieval Welsh kingdoms were ruled by princes rather than kings, and similarly with the ancient Indian kingdoms, so it does have some historical precident
That's some interesting medieval history that I did not know about. I was starting to think about the series of mlp in which the civlization of focus just has several princesses ruling over them
it would be cool if her referential title?? idk what they're called, but 'your highness' 'her royal majesty' etc was 'her/your radiance' to keep with the sun theme

given gem's theme for this season, i would love to see some amazing royal gardens! i think gem could do something really cool with a bunch of different plants reaching towards the sun, or maybe a sundial at the centre of a maze, or something else! super excited to watch her this season of empires
So excited for season 2! For your theme, it would be super cool to have like two goddesses of sunrise and sunset, and sunrise can be on your docks pointing to the ocean, and sunset on the mountaintop pointing to the sunset. Love your theme btw! Can’t wait for the story!

@@zarchsount3506 I love hermit craft, but secretly I love empires more because of the role play. I just wish we could have some more of our favorite hermits on empires. But I LOVE everyone already in empires. You can’t replace them.. and it would probably be too much to keep up with if they added too many hermits.
The cave with the water at 11:45 would be perfect for either a dock or a mermaid’s area!

I absolutely love the theme you chose for the season! There's so many opportunities for building, like statues of deities, sunclocks, big church-like stained glass windows, very royal but also nature-y themes with lots of gold and organic shapes... I'm so excited!

I’m wondering if the dragon being gone is going to be a judge plot point. Last season the dragon being dead made Xornoth far more powerful so maybe something similar is happening here?
I hope it's something enough different from last season to really feel like a new story. Season 1's plot was really interesting, don't get me wrong, but I'm looking forward to a completely fresh start!
I’m theorising that this is the new world that formed after the old world ended, and the enderdragon is dead because they all in their past lives killed it.

I love the character and theme you're going with this season, it's not the one I thought it would be from mood board that was posted, but this one is better. The starter house just looks amazing, I would have never thought to connect it in that way. Last season you didn't want to be an empress or queen choosing to instead be a wizard, this season you continue that trend by choosing to be a princess. It's a good choice, princesses get to have way more fun and adventure. You've made me like lore and storytelling in Minecraft, and I can't wait to see how your character and empire progress this season.

I'm excited for this! I love things that have a lot of lore but it isn't JUST lore, and Empire's does that just perfectly but I'd love it even if it was all lore because it's nice to mix it up from time to time.

I'm wondering if maybe the reason there's no dragon is because of s1! Maybe this world is the same one (ik its actually a different one but like in the lore) just hundreds of years later with different terrain etc and elements of the past will seep through!

It feels like forever since the last season ended, it was pretty sad to see all of the empire's get destroyed, but I'm really excited about this new season
i LOVE that starter house design, having an in unit bridge between the two buildings is such a cool concept, and one I will definitely be stealing.
Ideas for gem's empire's name:
1- The sunrise kingdom,
2- The solar peaks,
3- Kingdom of the golden sun,
4- The Nova empire,
5- The Solar flare empire,
6- The sunlight fields,
7- The shining light kingdom,
8- The sunlight valley,
9- The flaming sun

I have seen the whole first season of Empires. I can't wait for the lore of this one. Wonder if someone will turn evil or something. Probably not. You guys probably already have the story written out or something. But it still would be interesting to see something happen to one of the... Empire people? I don't know what you guys would be called. You all have such unique characters that there's no single thing to call all of you. But still. I honestly thought Gem would have turned evil because of what happened to her hair and what it made her do. But it's fine if no one turns evil. That's fine with me.

Owning an empire with the title of a princess is good as well, because it sounds fresh. But I wonder if later on with the bless of allied emperors and empress of other kingdoms, you will work to have the royal title as the absolute ruler of your empire, the Empress? Just a thought 😊💕
