Yeah Rory is the man. Best driver and knows his rigs and knows how to make field fixes. Matt is always saying how well the fix is his snow cat held up...a field fix with whatever parts he had on the Trail Mater. And the trail Mater looks like a Mad Max scorpion inspired desert dueller. Put a couple guns on that thing and it would be more iconic than the Bat Mobile. I wish I had 1/10th of that guys knowledge when it comes to fixing trucks.
Rory is a machine. The truck build will be epic. The name of the truck should be "Henry". Of course after Henry Ford. But you could call it "Henry Houdini", because it will get you out of anywhere by the time it is done.

These cross channel intersections are great. I'm guessing viewer stats indicate builds are the highest rated with best retention. So, spread it around to keep everything fresh. Very clever.

From a friend at a bottling plant: Monster/RedBull are the only thing they package that actually takes off paint and eats away the concrete underneath the machine.
A buddy of mine tore his stomach up on like 4-5 monsters a day and caused him to be allergic/intolerant to a huge amount of food. Wheat, corn, just to name a few
I used to drink these in moderation when I was working construction then one day I had 4 total and could not safely climb a ladder because it made my legs shake so bad and I couldn't keep my hands steady. Now I maybe drink 4 a year when I need it to keep me awake on a road trip
Ford 460V8 was one of the most reliable engines produced. I'm not a diehard 'Ford only' but there are engines from the blue oval that hold their own quite well.
I agree: I would not want any modern Ford engines and do believe the LS is the only good modern engine, but you do have a great selection of Ford old school engines from the 302 to the 460. Keep it Ford, no reason not to.

I'd like to see you keep it all Ford. You could use a 460, a 2 valve V10 or the new 7.3L. Matt and Paul have gone through 3 GM transmissions already. Give the Ford stuff a try, I did, and I prefer Ford over GM now.

Suggestion for your tow truck name: Hank Hank is short for Henry (Henry Ford, who lived to be 83 years old). On recovery missions, you could say “Yank it with Hank!”🤣 Or, “This ones gonna require a Hank Yank”🤣
I am really looking forward to this build. You mentioned you liked the existing paint. I think in hot rod shows rust is referred to as Patina. Like I said, I am anxious to see what Rory does with this incredible piece of history (100 year old wrecker).
Oh, I am so pleased you are going to make something out of that old tow truck. The first time I saw it on your channel, I mentioned how awesome it could be. I just love the style of it. I am as sure as you guys are, that Rory will make an outstanding job of the rebuild. Mind you I guess yours will be much heavier than Trail Mater, having said that, Eric of Recoveryteam throws his 9K wrecker all over the place rock crawling, it’s such a beast. Trail Mater is the best-off road wrecker in the world. So, your 100-year truck is in good hands. You ought to think about getting some lessons in with Rory when it’s done, it will check out the new truck and I can't think of a better teacher. He makes everything look so simple, he is so switched on to the job he does.
It’s a Ford. It needs a Ford engine. A modified 300 six (found in hundreds of newer tow trucks) should fit nicely, with plenty of low end torque. And, they’re bullet proof.
Totally agree... if you need a V8, there's the old big blocks... can beat them to death. I do think the six would be superb... We'll see what they do...

Proud of you for quitting Monsters, I was self-medicating when I was in the Army, and it turns out it's really hard to be depressed when you're wired on Monsters and Rockstars all day and night long... but my ticker decided it had a problem with the working conditions, and now I have to worry about cardiac issues for the rest of my life. I hope you don't end up in the situation I am in, and I'm glad to see you're taking steps to avoid that!

My dad built a AA wrecker but he kept the original 4 cylinder engine in it and four-speed transmission made his own boom we use it around the junkyard for probably 15 or 20 years he had it back when I was probably 10 years old and I'm 69 now love you videos y'all be safe and have a great day and hurry up with Ed's ride I'm anxious to see him driving Sam

As good as that Model A looks I'm pretty sure Robby will find that cab quite cramped for anyone over 5'9". It is a very small cramped space for a normal man to comfortably operate. Now if you extend the cab you will have something.

The tow truck is fantastic. I've been told that my Grandfather did recoveries with something of a slightly earlier era into the 1950s, except his had a hand powered winch. A side note for Demry and Dinner: What did the fish say when It swam into a wall?....."Dam"

Energy drinks seem to be a lot like injecting nitrous oxide into your engine. Runs awesome in the short term, but sure burns up your engine quick!

Nothing about a FORD is bullet proof. It a reason why people are dropping chevy LS motors into EVERYTHING
