2002-2006 Honda CRV Tensioner pulley replacement.

In this video i show you my way of removing and re installing a tensioner pulley on a 2002-2006 CRV. This engine is in many cars so should be similar. I believe its in the 2007-2011 CRVs as well, Acura's, etc.

Engine mount doesn't need to come out.. a simple deep socket for the bottom bolt is actually simple. I was surprised. Save removing engine mount 😁

But if you take the pulley off the rest of the tensioner, you don't have to remove the motor mount.

You can. It's just one bolt on the pulley.

That's what I wanted to see. I have a noisy tensioner pulley bearing but the tensioner is fine. Just turn the 14mm bolt (you normally use to release the belt tension) counter clockwise and remove the pulley? Is that it? Thanks.
