This is old school dubstep(+/- some psydub).This is what dubstep is/was before the ukf dubstep/Skrillex brostep era fried everyones perception about what it is.
This is as old as dubstep itself. OG grimey played in a dodgy dark basement type underground dubstep. Founded on pure basslines and stepped beats in the early 2000s. None of that corrupted womp womp stuff born and popularised in the 2010s that's mistaken today as real dubstep.
