People who think psychics should read for free "because it's a gift" would not expect a plumber to install a toilet for free "because he has such a gift for plumbing" - rather they assume the plumber has worked diligently to achieve a high level of competence, yet don't realize that psychics also work and study diligently to fully realize their "gifts". As a musician, I experienced much the same - some people expected me to play the piano or organ for their wedding for free or for cheap, because I was so "gifted". In reality, I spent years of study and practice to fully realize my innate musical ability.
Really really enjoyed this conversation. People seem to be getting crueller more viscous and nastier everyday. It's as if they hate themselves so much that they have to tear down and hurt everyone else. A very sad indication of the times. I live ten mins away from Temple Newsman. I go a lot with my dogs. Reference past lives I’m convinced I was a monk. I’m now a Benedictine oblate at a monastery but it’s so deep and so at home there. I remember walking through cloisters and used to ask my dad about it before he died because I thought it could have been when I was young but he said not.

My friend who had now sadly passed was a relative of a pendle witch called Alice Nutter let me tell you she was the most powerful woman i have ever met. As a baby she was hidden in a drawer so she wasnt killed by her mother and brought up by her grandmother. Her story is one of overcoming true adversities and she definitely had power and yes black cats who she called little black gets not in any racist way just her way. Trust me you wouldnt have crossed her but she was a wonderful person.

I used to watch the Rescue Mediums, but then I felt it was not good to bring in that energy into my home via the television. I did my spiritual training over the river in upstate New York, but spiritualism never felt like a good fit for me. Then I was guided towards energy healing. Huge witch wound. My 10x great grandfather was the prosecuting sheriff in Salem. So, I’ve always been nervous about being publicly open about spirit work.

It’s a glimpse into something which I’ve imagined, but have had only inklings of. I have felt and dreamed of things such as princesses, gremlins, and fairies, since earliest memory, but no one shred my view, except my mother, who would tell me “the gremlins will come” if you don’t put your toys away” - and sometimes, they did!
I never experienced anyone talking to someone not there…. But in very recent years have had something similar with my husband. I worked, life-long, with handicapped children teens & adults. I believe they each have a very special journey. A cross to bear, each one. My job was to be a helper, teacher, mentor, to them beginning with my brother, born when I was 10, and who died yesterday at age 61. He has been schizophrenic since 2014, and in a group home/ nursing home, since then.
He was not well cared-for, nor happy, for many years.
I have so much guilt, Claire! It is a long story, but he was such a good, sweet soul!
How do we get over such a passing?
I think we have all been craftworkers and persecuted in one, some, or all of our past lives. It's why we are so injured ( psychologically) this time around. We carry residual energy of past persecutions. It is time now more than any other in history to accept and manifest our natural ancient abilities to heal ourselves and the World.
My grandmother,a gypsy for Ireland used to read tea leaves, ive always felt something and a couple of years ago a woman came up to me and said don't be afraid of your gift, freaked me out 😮🔮🔮🔮

Very interesting video Claire. No one should expect a psychic to give out readings for free. As someone on a limited income I would love to be able to afford a shamanic healing but for me it’s not possible at this present time yet I know within a couple of years that it should be possible so I am aiming towards that point when it will be possible. In the meantime I do as many group healings as I can each month. Now some may say with what I pay out for group healings I could be saving for the shamanic healing but I have found your group healings have been extremely helpful on my healing journey in healing different areas that have needed healing and I sense that I need both and that by the time I do have my shamanic healing the group healings will have helped. I also like reiki but don’t do that often. I’m looking into learning meditation and have bought some meditation CDs.
I want to thank you Claire I think you have an authentic and honest personality and I agree that more people will become more intuitive and psychic in the future as they tune in to gifts that they never realised they had and more people are born with these abilities. Both my sister and I have some intuitive insight and know things or can sense things that are about to happen- we have both predicted and experienced some weird stuff. For me it happens normally in dreams or I just know something but can’t explain how I know. My mum calls me a witch I don’t talk about it for fear of being called nuts or being thought of as strange and it only happens sometimes. I wish I had listened to my own intuition sometimes in my life it could have saved me a lot of trauma. Now I try to listen. But I don’t do anything for anyone else. I don’t have that type of gift. I only know certain things like sense of foreboding and warnings which I’ve learned to listen to now as experience has taught me that the sense is usually accurate. I have stayed away from seances, ouija boards, or any of that stuff but I have seen and experienced some weird stuff without any of that. I’ve come to accept that strange stuff does happen without a logical explanation and that ghosts etc do exist and can be angry and that many of us don’t really know how to deal with a negative energy when we come across it. I know I didn’t many years ago and I moved away from it. I think it might be interesting as a follow up to do a video on negative energies and things in your job like house clearing. How an energy can become trapped or earth bound. About curses not to teach people how to curse the opposite like generational curses and hexes. So not only your work as a psychic but as a sharmanic practitioner. Just a thought

I just finished a book last night called The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane by Katherine Howe about the Salem witch trials and I LOVED it. They often use the word Cunningwoman and I love that word. I also just bought a new deck called Faery Forest by Lucy Cavendish and there is a card called cunningwoman. I love how things fall into place. Fascinating.

It is heartbreaking to know that so many were slaughtered because of being accused of being a witch. I read or saw on TV about some wicked girls who pretended to have ?? fits when walking by a witch but were eventually caught out when they tried to get a rectors wife punished for being a witch.
What a terrible era for having nasty enemies who could get you tortured to death.

How much do you charge for readings? I’m on benefits and disabled but I used to work. It drives me crazy because I am stuck. I’d like to be able to sell my art work but I’m not allowed. I’m multilingual but I can’t use that either. I’m disabled. My situation saddens me because I have so much to offer the world but I’m sick and I don’t family. It’s not like I’ve got a partner with another income coming in. I think you might be able to help me. I’ve lost my way without a doubt. Whatever I love to do I lose it. I am religious and would love to go into a convent but they won’t take me either. I want to be prosperous and be part of society but I’m not. I’m mostly housebound. I’m not physic but I am told what will happen to me. I know if something bad is going to happen.
