@George xander A bit of an uneducated comment from you, but I'll gladly correct it. Alcohol to a certain point is an anti-anxiety drug, though at a certain point alcohol leads then to confusion, then towards total loss of coordination, and finally a black out - It would appear to me that Phil was at the stage of losing coordination given his lack of /any/ semblance of balance. Once again it does not excuse what he said, but he /did/ openly come out and apologize for it. Deeply apologized for it. And since the 90's his music has done nothing more than attempt to boost people's confidence - Just look at the song 'No Good (Attack the Radical)' where he attacks white and black militants alike and claims someone living alone with their own race only would lose all diversity and be in a prison cell.
@George xander he’s not a racist because he isn’t a bigot. Where's the outrage at Beyoncés halftime show? She dressed dancers up as Black Panthers and did black power salutes. Yet barely anyone said a word. In fact they went on how great it was bringing people together. WHAT? It was anti white, anti police, praising someone that murdered a police officer trying to do his job. What would make this equal to Beyoncés show would be if Phil had a few people dressed in full KKK robes and some SS soldiers.
+Luke Scanlan Really? Where? Their were a few blurbs on social media about it, but it's mostly all been swept under the rug. What major news picked up the story?
+Luke Scanlan lol. I suggest you do a little research into the black panthers if you don't see how it was anti white. I could care less if someone's racist. But shit goes both ways. If a black person takes pride in their race they are applauded. If a white person does they are racist.
Niet...Nein...stop fanning the flames of propaganda. She's catching a lot of heat for that. I'm not saying she did anything wrong, just saying you're telling an untruth about no one saying anything. Stop hating and advocating divisiveness. Be responsible for your own actions. If you choose to hate, you may be free to do that, but people can disagree. Stop hating. It's senseless.
+Luke Scanlan Am I the only one reading these posts who totally understands what you're saying regarding the difference between the two phrases. I tried explaining it to someone and as prolific as I can be, I'll say, you said it perfectly. If people don't see the difference after reading your post, it's because they simply don't want to or are so blinded by hate they really can't comprehend. I concur on most of what you said, except the very last part and it's for the same reasons you gave for why there was a need for the Black power movement. Remember, supremacists would have Blacks and others believe that Blacks should be anything but, proud. They'd love it if every Black person hated ourselves and actually felt inferior. So, I think it's okay to say...Black and proud of it. It really has nothing to do with thinking other races shouldn't be proud of who they are; but, there really hasn't been the same impetus to proclaim it for White people, except Jewish ones. Hope that makes sense.
+Tricia Star Hating and divisiveness? I'm talking about unfairness and a double standard.Black Pride=okHispanic pride=okJewish pride=okAsian pride=okWhite pride= you're a hater and racist!!!Those people who hate the truth are senseless. Antiracist is a codeword for anti-white.

You talk of strength but vices are vices. Weakness. Lose weight and focus on your health. All that extra weight can't be good for your back. And finally. Listen more and talk less. You talketh overmuch.
+Noitpure That's exactly what happened. You can clearly hear the audience member yell "you were metal." Phil heard wrong and acted like a punk. Whether Phil is racist or not can be debated, but one thing is clear: he still has problems that he needs to deal with. He's a drunken mess and his performances are heavily affected by the booze. I remember watching Down in concert years ago, and Phil was spot on. I've never seen a vocalist with so much charisma, and of course his vocals were powerful as hell. Sad to watch someone who was once a great frontman be reduced to what we see in the video. Phil, please get yourself together!
@@andrewcarbajal7358 How can it be debated that a guy who sieg heils and yells white power is a racist? It's not a fucking joke. I don't even know how to sieg heil. You can tell he's practiced it.
At what point does the guy call Pantera a racist band - as it's not very clear. It sounds more like Phil is replying to the guy saying that Pantera weren't a metal band.
That occurred when Phil lied about the whole incident in an interview to frame himself as the victim. It's lol. It's so lol. He claimed that people were heckling him for being a racist the entire show. Yea, cuz Phil is the kind of guy who just sits back and takes that kind of shit. When was it happening? When they were playing? FFS.
Phil lived long enough to become the villain. He would have been the greatest metal singer of all time if he died on the release date of Southern Trendkill. Change my mind.
I’d say it wasn’t a mistake. With pantera being pantera he did it as an ironic joke. Because for years people argue pantera is racist. Why not do a bit of trolling and make them wonder
I actually don't think people should comment on the situation until they see this video. He tells the fans they were not a part of this, seeing them as separate, and that he could care less about them. The whole thing is just a bad train wreck.

The "Belly Push" Rocked!!! Cheers & Peace.
Rick 🤘 you rule bro
Was that Johnny Kelly from TON that walked him off stage?
+jawsrs Yep.
+jawsrs Yeah lol, they toured together a couple times. Pretty sure they stayed friends. I think Phil and Pete used to hang out as far back as the Carnivore days.
@@EQOAnostalgia that's awesome!
Yeeeeeah I can't watch 30sec of this without skipping forward. The embarrassment is over 9000
aaaaaaand worst part at the end
WP 🙋🏼♂️ ☘️
I love Phil. Nobody's perfect. We all make mistakes...
A big nazi salute shape mistake
@Deathtomyself fr like “so what he was saying white supremecist shit. Ewybody makes mistakes 🥺” I like how people try to defend this shit lmao
@Deathtomyself I bet you've NEVER said anything offensive
Always fun to watch Phil...he understood his mistake and that's enough for me
you know what should get Phil sober?
watching that Weiland video of Vaseline a few months before he died.
That's what this trainwreck reminds me of.
A sad sight indeed. He needs to check in and clean up.
Did anyone else see "Big Val" around 2:20?
Hahahaha , Phil.. You made my day 🍺
bruh
@@arbazann”bruh” shutup little zoomer, you going to try to cancel phil on twitter? Good luck with that little boy
He should live by his own words....YESTERDAY DON'T MEAN SHIT!
You can't hear it as well in this version of the video, but there's another video that was taken close to the guy that yelled 'you were metal,' and drunk Phil thought he said 'you weren't metal.' So an intoxicated Phil got his panties in a wad and starts threatening the guy who clearly yelled, 'you were metal.' I think the guy was saying Pantera was the only real metal band in the 90's. So Phil got pissed, said and gestured stupid shit, majorly damaged his career because he misunderstood a guy in the crowd declaring his support of Pantera.
Phil, cut back on your vices.
2:06 Chad kroeger being taken out
Anselmo is a legend.
FFS.
So drunk he was talking about the color of electricity - REALLY AWKWARD BREAKFAST THE NEXT MORNING
phil needs to take over for the late great ELDUCE and start fronting The Mentors that would rule!
u r a POS
Is that Nick Nolte, Jr. talking on stage?!? Who is this guy?
Now that I see it with more context, I totally get the joke. White wine! Good one!
+xTheOxx There's no joke...
+Pokernaze NO shit...
Simon Will
Fuck off.
+xTheOxx
How much you wanna bet the guy in the crowd who was talking shit to him WASN'T white? Too bad we don't have a shot of the crowd :)
+xTheOxx you're an idiot
When strength gets wounded and refuses to be vulnerable it displays itself as aggression
Man this hurts to watch. Phil is a broken man, I just want him to find peace.
Am I the only one who sees a lot of similarities between Phil and Steven Seagal??
Why are so many people pissed about what phil did? Man I am german and we doing it all day long 24/7 ;)
Of course Dave Grohl is wearing an ABBA shirt at Dimebash lol
@Le Tenia dude, you’re so edgy lol
ah damn it, I stepped in some Phil Anselmo in my brand new Dimebag Darrells !
Awesome.
Fuck off
I"m only one minute in and he sounds like he's going to puke.
This is just sad
+Insanity Plague so much alcohol for phil
Phil lived long enough to become the villain. He would have been the greatest metal singer of all time if he died on the release date of Southern Trendkill. Change my mind.
Was he voted the best metal singer of all time when The Great Southern Trendkill was released?
@@meccaollielord lol
the older Phil getz the more he looks like his Big Bro, Steven Seagal... :D
Damn that V looks long as fuck , I want a 30’ V
Phil Anselmo is a god in metal world , he made a mistake but continue being a fucking legend in metal...
I’d say it wasn’t a mistake. With pantera being pantera he did it as an ironic joke. Because for years people argue pantera is racist. Why not do a bit of trolling and make them wonder
What mistake???
So glad he's doing better now.
I actually don't think people should comment on the situation until they see this video. He tells the fans they were not a part of this, seeing them as separate, and that he could care less about them. The whole thing is just a bad train wreck.
Phil. Phil. Damn bro. WTF. Thanx for DESTROYING the 4th best thing ever in my life. Looks like my card caring estranged cousin. Was right about your lyrics. Now 1 thro 3 is up to me
I think everyone was more mad that he mad this more about himself than about Dimebag
Back in early 90s they played at a club in Germany. Owner made them say that crap live so they could finish the show. I think he was really drunk obviously and gave it to that Germany crowd cause of the past.
Grohl wore an abba shirt at fucking dimebash lol
is that dave grohl on stage playing guitar???
Yes my man
I heard the best part is in the end.
AHHAHA i love how Phil is randomly flexing his muscles 2:00
Love a good
Meltdown. We’ve all had em.
Well that was hard to watch. I'm glad Phil is much better since then.
Sounds exactly like Macho Man Randy Savage, scroll down and picture the voice belonging to him, its uncanny.
People are too god damn sensitive. He's not racist people. He made some distasteful jokes while hammered.
2:08 looks like the dude was about to hurl.
Is that Rex hitting a doob in the corner? Best part. But yeah that really taunted the guy.
This is funny how nobody really reacts in the end.
This whole video is just sad, he seems so fucked up.
SHUT UP PHIL!
*He laughs
Phil Anselmo is so bizarrely hilarious it’s hard to describe.
holy shit dave grohl was there
thats what i said !!
