Yayayaya you posted! My day has been made. I have really been wanting to read spark of the everflame so I might delve into that. Also I love the prison healer sooo much. Nothing like the movies is one of my top 3 this year! I love it a lotttt 💗
I dont know if you've read it yet but Heartless Hunter has a main character who's a witch and covers the whole aspect of being a witch pretty well (in my opinion lol). I honestly loved it and I'm currently waiting on the new one to release next year :)
🌹 love you and this video bestie!!! i felt the exact same about hopeless and it was def my least fave of the series. also LOVED nltm like so much. it js felt sm more mature. ALSO LOVED THE LITTLE BLOOPERS AT THE END HAHAH i am always cackling during ur vids
You’d love the book A Dark and Secret Magic by Wallis Kinney!! It’s the exact kind of witchy book you’re looking for and it’s the most autumnal book I’ve ever read - also the descriptions of the food in the book will make you want to immediately go cook a cozy comfort meal 😂
I also loved Spark of the Everflame!! The second book was just okay for me (still enjoyed it and was entertained but def different vibes than the first book) but curious to see what you’ll think of it!
Hello, there’s the Fallen series by Lauren Kate, it has time travel and angels in all of them, it’s also young adult. You could try those. And congratulations on getting married 💕
Disclaimer: I haven’t read Skyward, but I am currently reading Mistborn era 1 and my bf read through the entire Cosmere last year. If you want to jump into the Cosmere Mistborn era 1 is a great starting point. Most Sanderson fans would say that’s where you should start. Additionally, it features a young female protagonist. Even though it is an adult book, it has a YA feel because we follow a teenager and her choices. I think you will really like Vin (our main character). I’ll be interested to see your thoughts on book 2 in that era.
I felt the EXACT same with Magnolia Parks ! High standards and a bit confused with my rating but it does get better ! I did NOT like BJ or Magnolia until I read about them in Daisy Haites, and seeing them from other people’s POV made me love them ! And then on I appreciated the books more and more !
I just stumbled across this video and I love your vibe and how you describe each book, so I’m about to binge some of your videos while I’m working today :) my favorite read of October was Hidden Pictures by Jason Rekulak
💐 The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches is marketed as a romance but I read it in October and it’s very much a witchy book with a romance subplot!!
threadneedle by Cari Thomas is a good witchy book that is definitely not romcomy. It’s kind of like a coming of age of a witch who’s basically raised here whole life to think casting and magic is bad and then she gets introduced to some characters when she turns 16 that kind of turn everything upside down for her and there’s twists at the end that I though were so good (and fucked up tbh it is for sure a little darker). The sequel came out this year and I’m hoping to read it soon!
@ I loved it! I couldn’t put it down. It was a five star read for me! Now I’m reading Swift And Saddled. I have Lost And Lassoed pre ordered for my kindle. I’ll get it tomorrow. I also have Wild And Wrangled Pre Ordered for April 5,2025.
Hmmmm..............for a witchy book, I'd recommend "One For My Enemy" by Olivie Blake (the romance is a big plot point though; definitely a romantasy in my opinion, but not a rom-com by any stretch of the word).
Hi! I want to do a booktubers choose which book I read next video! would you be able to help me with it? I have been a viewer of your channel for ages and I absolutely love it! so if you could help me I would love it!
🌷🥀The more I watch your videos, the more I realize how similar our tastes are. I literally read The Great Gatsby in October after I was gifted a copy for my birthday in late September. I also read the last book in the Skyward series during the beginning of the year. Thank you for your entertaining videos. 🫶
The ministry of time sounds a little too much like a plagiarism to the spanish tv show El ministerio de tiempo (which literally means the ministry of time). If you like the concept of the book, you should try to watch this show because it is so good.
I felt the exact same way about The Ministry of Time. LOVED the first half, but the second half was a struggle and a half.
it lowkey felt like two different books:((
You describing spark of the ever flame sounded a lot like powerless in the beginning. I’ll have to give it a try!
it’s so good!!!
The Heartless Hunter is incredible & the FMC is a witch! ✨

I 100% agree with you on the ex hex! I rated it three stars too but it was a cute palette cleanser for me

i was too for the longest time!!! i recommend giving it a go though - you never know, it could be a new favorite!!!!

The parallel series by Elizabeth O'Roark is a pretty good time traveling series with romance. It's 4 books long. I gave them all 5 stars.
added to my want to read !! thanks for the recommendation🤭
The Ministry of Time let me down a little too😢😢
noo:((
🌼 reading and loving Caraval 🏧
