It gets old to me after a while because I keep having to fight with the stack to keep it from slumping forward and fucking up my sifting. I prefer to go through the entire store in a weekend and then stay on top of the Recent Used/New Arrivals for about 7 months before going through the store again.
OH MY GOD! YOU PICKED LESLEY GORE! THAT IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE ARTIST OF ALL TIME! I GAVE THE GOLDEN HITS TO PAIGE FOR THE VINYL SWAP. SHE IS THE QUEEN OF OG EMO! I'M JUST SO HAPPY YOU PICKED THAT OMG I LOVE THIS!!!! BEST DAY EVER!
I guess I'm old because every time she pulled out a Molly Hatchet, Slade, Robert Plant, etc I was like....doesn't everyone already own those records?? LOL. A fun way you shot this video. Loved it with you friend. Make sure you go back and grab some of those albums to. Those are bands that are good to know :)
I just found your channel and subscribed. I wish I new about these kind of challenges long time ago. Becky and I would love to do these kind of videos. They seem so fun.
I feel the same way as Olivia!!!! I really enjoyed this video. Liz, Did you like the albums you bought??????? I love record stores and Yes, it is so much fun to look through all the records.
Pretty funny you've never heard of Kajagoogoo. They were pretty well known in the eighties. If you like 80s music, I can recommend their hit single "Too Shy" it's actually quite a good track!
ok so I know this video is old but I was at the record store last week and found “Everybody Loves a Nut” by Johnny Cash...look up the album art if u get a chance lol
I wish I. Knew about this challenge. We have a store with 25 cents and dollar records, I got like 8 things for 5 dollars. I also got a Passenger record for 5 dollars
When you were showing the gore vinyl and when it said its my party i was like is that the song that melanie took a part of in pity party and when you said that at the end i was like wow I actually know something😂
Also you should go on melanie's website cause she released a new vinyl with all the deluxe songs if you didn't know that❤️I also love your vids so much
I wouldn't consider Leslie Gore to be funny I'm glad you all had a good time SLADE isn't funny either but its a chance for you all to discover new music keep it up you may find a lot more of stuff you might actually like
The 60s was a very diffrent time, indeed! My parent's generation (my mom listened to Lesley Gore) may seem corny to today's standards, but there was an almost naieve innocence compared to today! How times change, and probably our kids may think we're corny in the future! It's a generational thing, I guess!
Oh I know! My parents never really listened to music around me or talked about music so, I usually had to find artists on my own and that didn't happen until High school. I'll add Robert Plant to my list that I need to check out. If there's anyone else you think I would enjoy listening to, please do share!
Liz Rogers oh that's perfectly fine, it must be tough then without music influences. I only said Robert Plant because he was the lead singer for Led Zeppelin, my favourite band. I recommend you have a listen
2 midwest girls shitting on a band who created the masterpiece flirtin' with disaster...that is your areas magnum opus..how dare you shame your areas forefathers taste?
I could spend hours in a record store, I love the feeling of shifting through all the options.

Liz Rogers that's okay though, we all have preferences in music and there's nothing wrong with that
Oh I know! My parents never really listened to music around me or talked about music so, I usually had to find artists on my own and that didn't happen until High school.
