Hello…. I’m beginning CDL school on Monday and I’m so torn on which company to go with. I’m between Werner, Schneider, and Swift. I feel like I’ll be a number no matter which company I choose. What’s your advice for me? I’m out of Nashville.
At 20:40 You talk about part time. I am interested to drive part time in the fontana CA area for only 40h a week at weekends or some thing like this. So far I understand it part time is only available at memphis in TN and phönix AZ. 2: Can I expect that this is available at other locations also? It is nice that there a fon number for this is available. I think it would be much nicer when there would be an add at the terminals or on the driver website available also. When I call the placement team number, some 1 picks up the fon and reads me the available positions from an electronic source. I can read self. It would be much nicer when I could get the text readable for my self in an other way also. For me with my a little bit special wishes, it looks easier to fiend this what I want easier at other trucking companies. I think it should be inverted so that it is easier for me to fiend a work scheddule at the company where I drive for instead out side at an other trucking company. 1: Or what do You think about? 2: Can I expect that this is available at other locations also? Okay I have a few questions I have seen a couple of videos were people are saying that they got fired from orientations or got fired from the company my concern is what gets a person fired and how to avoid that far as truck driving .
"orientation" is actually our Driver Qualification Process. The folks who do not qualify in DQP are dismissed. Often this is due to safety concerns on their driving/work history. We are a great company who want to operate safely within the communities we serve. Having a commitment to safety and willing to work as a team is what we ask to help both you and Swift be successful.
@@Swift_Transportation oh okay. Do I have to be a tanker if I'm a oto driver . I think I'm just nervous because I would not want to ever be fired if I made a mistake. What is the qualification process and what makes a person not qualified to work with your company. Also what qualified a person to work at swift. Are we allowed any off time how many days of the week are we working

I'm thinking about changing company just did 13 months with a big carrier before that was 7 years out of the driving industry but Pryor to that got 20 years of safe driving experience in tractor trailer thinking about wanting to be a mentor with your company who do I talk too
