Sorry. The 750iL is still my favourite. Do8ble glazed windows and many other touches just set it apart from the the 740 too much for me. I will stick to my E38 750iL and E66 760Li for as long as I can afford to run them. Having said all that, your car is absolutely beautiful.
I don’t doubt the 750iL is any less of a car but the 740i is the enthusiast favourite. The double glaze windows and extras can be found on all e38 models, but more so in the 750s as they were always well specced from factory. Thankyou my friend really appreciate it! And yes definitely keep them going for as long as you can, sooner or later we won’t be able to drive these beauties.
A few options are 750i only such as leather dash but other then that can't think of anything you couldn't choose as an option on a 740 vs a 750. Even sedc is found on 735's
Nice video but having owned both the 740 and the 750, the 750s are definitely more reliable if more expensive to maintain. The timing chain headache of the v8s alone make the 750 a better investment. Regardless these cars have really aged well.
Hi ,like your video ,however ,I have a 750il and I love it ,the engine is absolutely sublime and it's never let me down ,I have toured up to the top of Scotland and down to England and it never once stuttered , could it be you are saying that the best one to get is the 740i is because you have one ,perhaps if you had a 750il you would be saying that is the one to get ,like I am , but I do agree that they are superb cars and its good to see them on the roads, cheers
