TE needs to give the OP-1 field better sequencers. It’s insane they haven’t updated it.
I wonder who started the inspired by nature plugins. With the balls bouncing around. I see Ableton and Bitwig do it. Wonder who made that happen?
A lot of credit there must surely go to Toshio Iwai who created Elektroplankton - which to the best of our knowledge is likely to be the original inspiration?
The Field needs new features. Especially some new sequencing abilities. 95% of what's in there is also in the original OP-1. We were told when the Field was announced that "this is only the beginning". I took that to mean there would be lots of new features added to the Field. Instead we got a bunch of overpriced and relatively useless side products.
Mylar 's heart is not in this one. He does not respect the Field's sound quality. The dude is a modular high end synth dude at heart! lol
