He is a Beast! Glad he is healthy now. Few weeks back I heard he could hardly bend over, during the week at practice ,with a bad back, and still suited up the Sunday after! Got to be the toughest RB in the league! Need him to stick around for many years.
I love Jaylen but there are reasons Najee gets more touches. 1. Ball security has been a concern with Jaylen. Najee has one of the best Carry-Fumble ratios in NFL history, and is by far the best amongst active running backs. Jaylen fumbled 4 times last season, including red zone turnovers which was devastating as well. 2. Najee is the better power back which has always better suited the Steelers play style since Bettis. We think of Mendenhall. We think of James Connor. And now we think of Najee. Leveon was the exception to the rule. That was also a time when the Steelers had one of the worst defenses in the league, and it was about scoring as much as humanely possible because the defense could not keep up. Najee records more broken tackles and holds a similar YPC ratio to Jaylen despite having a smaller YBC ratio. 3. Najee is more reliable in the sense of not getting hurt. Holding on to the football. And consistently moving the ball downfield while Jaylen is more of that X factor. To conclude, I love Jaylen man. He’s by far the better pass blocker. By far the more explosive back and will consistently get you 10+ yard runs more often than Najee. But when Jaylen isn’t getting the blocking he needs, it’s hard to watch. When Najee isn’t getting help from the O Line, he’s still getting 2-3 yards and is bruising up that defensive line. Every game Najee has that “big boy” play where he breaks 3-4 tackles. Even against the eagles he showed those flashes. But penalties and that costly turnover obviously held that back. They’re both true Steelers but they are complete different styles of play and they’re hard to compare. The goals of the offense are different with Najee than that of Warren.
@@TheOnlyJoshH No. because NFL players aren’t perfect nor should their play reflect perfection. It’s not the first fumble of Najee’s career and it won’t be the last. But him holding on to the football is not a concern of any competent Steelers fan. Last I checked, there are 11 players on offense. Najee had 6 total carries. If you’re going to blame him alone for the loss, just don’t respond. Was his fumble costly? Yes. In fact, that put our offense in the coffin for the rest of the day. You know who’s else to blame? Our corners. Our secondary. They were absolutely atrocious and scare me a lot more than Najee in terms of hurting our chances for a superbowl. Tell me. Did you have this same energy when Jaylen fumbled on the 2 yard line against the Commanders? What about on the 10 against the bengals last season? Or do you just cry about the normal incompetent talking points of Steelers fans that have zero clue of what they’re talking about? Najee is a top 10 running back in the NFL over the last 4 years. Cry about it.
I swear our o line will be good. Broderick has been solid, and hopefully he’ll be on the left next year and continue his improvement. Fautanu might be good on the right when he returns. Frazier is a star center, and McCormick is a good rookie guard. The only position we should try to improve on is maybe a replacement for seumalo bc he’s pretty old.
Off HELL YEA bro!!! I BEEN SAYING J.Warren aka Rock is our true starter!!! Just had this argument this past game and been saying he was our true starter since his 2nd season 4real!!!A piece on JW's best plays we need that #SteelerNation
When 22 is in, the defenses knows 90% of the time he’s going to run. When 30 is in, they don’t know. Of course, 30 is a third down guy, but not always. Plus 30 has better hands out of the backfield. If I was the Steelers, I’d not make it so obvious that 22 is running the ball. Remember his rookie year when he was in almost every play? The defenses couldn’t be sure then. If I was the Steelers, I’d also work on 22 catching more (not just because of the fumble), to catch passes out of the backfield. Maybe even get a little tricky and have him occasionally line up outside.
Jaylen doesn't get more touches because his body won't take what Najee's Body can take. How many games have Jaylen missed compared to Najee. If they Took Najee Out Jaylen wouldn't be getting the yards he gets now.
If were gonna run pitches might as well let Naj go because that is not Najees style, its a shame, i hope he goes somewhere where they know how to use him
Jalen Warren career touches - 434, 6 fumbles, so 1 fumble per 72.3 touches... Najee Harris career touches 1,237, 5 fumbles, so 1 fumble per 247.4 touches Stop the slander!
Najee probably isn't coming back next year which will put Warren in line to be the starter. He will likely secure a contract as well which will pay him more than what they would have to pay Najee since he hasn't logged as many touches and has less leverage when it comes to negotiations. I would say the Steelers are limiting his touches for this reason. For a few years now the fans have been saying that Warren is better than Najee and we may just get to see it next season.
This the same talk that had us featuring Connor Hayward cause we thought he was better option 🤷🏾♂️ I’m rolling Najee over Warren Harris been more healthier and less fumbles in more touches yall can have that mess
Not to bring hate on Najee because of that one fumble, but Warren was the key to beating the Eagles ...he should have been used in and out all day long last sunday. Not saying that he should be a replacement for Najee, both are very different, both are dogs ⬛🟨
Grow your instagram for all my folks trying to start there own Steelers page. pay.wo.ink/aff/go/Sohan
You think the same thing every Steelers fan says… do you want a cookie. You want to be GM and fire Tomlinson too? Bring your a salute dongs in?

One of the best RBs in the league. Definitely needs more touches.
lol stop pushing it

Ball security has become an issue with 22 incase you missed it.
@ Ball security with Najee is absolutely the least of the concerns with the Steelers offense.
Are you expecting a career of zero fumbles?
@ if him fumbling the ball there is of no concern to you, just stop while your ahead. 6 mins of offense that half…

@ their salaries more than allow a heightened level of expectations. I understand you don’t get it working the gas station counter it’s okay bud
our template should be a split a la David Montgomery/Jahmyr Gibbs in DET. Of course our OL isn't that good but still the man deserves touches

Warren AND Fields should get more touches.
No because fields isnt that good a of a passer and when they put him in teams alreasy know he is going to run the ball.
@Anthony-dj7ek Without Pickens Wilson didn't look that good of a passer either.
@alshort752 man its the oline and the fact that Mike williams couldnt step up , but definetly the oline needs to be alot better.
So if nobody is getting open put in the guy that can run out of the pocket if he needs it

Throw on first down 80% of the time! Will change everything make it so much easier on offensive line
Running on first down, you really have to have a strong offense. Throwing is also risky in the NFL
That attempted block was insane. We need that on loop. It’s like human vs elephant
Jaylen doesn't get more touches because his body won't take what Najee's Body can take. How many games have Jaylen missed compared to Najee. If they Took Najee Out Jaylen wouldn't be getting the yards he gets now.
He's an absolute gremlin.
On this game did you notice the Refs made 3 bad calls that didn’t go our way looks like the refs are always against us
REFS SHOULD BE SUBJECT TO FINES AND SUSPENSIONS JUST LIKE THE PLAYERS 🤬
Actually 4 not including several missed holds vs TJ and Highsmith. Still probably loose by 3 or so but not 14.
I put money on Warren every week and he pulls through. Kids a stud
I love naj but I always felt he could take notes from Jay. Jaylen plays every play like it’s his last. Whether it’s blocking, screen pass or running!!
If were gonna run pitches might as well let Naj go because that is not Najees style, its a shame, i hope he goes somewhere where they know how to use him
Same W/ Connor HeyWard
NO NAJEE NEEDED
Jalen Warren career touches - 434, 6 fumbles, so 1 fumble per 72.3 touches...
Najee Harris career touches 1,237, 5 fumbles, so 1 fumble per 247.4 touches

Najee shouldn't even touch the ball until the red Zone.
Yes. He needs to be much more involved in the gameplan.
Najee probably isn't coming back next year which will put Warren in line to be the starter. Icl I think we let Najee walk n try to get a rb in the 2nd-3rd. Like hampton from NC or singleton from penn state
Pull that pitch back from the playbook.playback. Feed Jaylen.
Honestly feel like Jaylen warren should be there #1 running back and bump Najee to #2
💯 💯💯💯
I hate they keep running those pitch plays smh they rarely ever work
Warren should start over najee, he hits the hole instead of dancing around.
A couple of more touches and they coulda won the game
This the same talk that had us featuring Connor Hayward cause we thought he was better option 🤷🏾♂️ I’m rolling Najee over Warren Harris been more healthier and less fumbles in more touches yall can have that mess
Agreed
I can not figure out why Jalen is not the rb1. I love najee but come on man.
He don't get many touches because he a fumble machine
I been saying this bro
He is so much better than Harris why is Harris even on the team?
I dint think he can be a number 1... both of them are better together
Not to bring hate on Najee because of that one fumble, but Warren was the key to beating the Eagles ...he should have been used in and out all day long last sunday. Not saying that he should be a replacement for Najee, both are very different, both are dogs ⬛🟨
Let Najee walk! He is as advertised a good back but just TOO SLOW and I’m tired of watching mediocrity
When those other rbs start fumbling 10x more than najee I dont want to see any steelers fan bitching about the new rb
One of the main reason we need to start him over harris like Najee is more like a third down back than a full time back he's just to big and too slow
