- Banquet Chicken Pot Pie! A popular choice for a quick and convenient meal. Banquet Chicken Pot Pie features a (too) creamy filling. It did not have enough vegetables. Most pot pies have stuff like carrots, peas, and potatoes but I could find no potatoes here. The pieces of chicken in this pot pie were too small and the vegetables were too sparse. I did love the flaky crust which toasted to a golden brown. One of these pot pies is not very filling. An easy, quick, and fairly inexpensive meal option. Cook this Banquet Chicken Pot Pie in the oven or microwave.

I've never had the pleasure of eating any of these. I bake a dish that's similar, including cooked chicken, peas, carrots, cream of chicken, cheese, and quartered biscuits. Add some seasonings. My husband loves it! I wish you could try it! ☺️

The liquid is just soup it's the best part otherwise it's dry

@@CHATTYGRANDPA I also like Marie Callender's chicken pies. There is a reason Banquet is (or at least used to be) pretty cheap -- the water! MC's pies are higher in calories, and lists chicken broth as the first ingredient.
you're right. I like the gravy but it'd be nice if it had more veggies in it and more meat. I think they skimped out to save on cost

Great video! I would recomment Marie Callenders Chicken Pot Pie cooked with oven directions. It's a little more work, but the end product is as close to homemade as you can get! Very flavorful, comes with peas, carrots, potatoes, and its healthier overall with less preservatives and lower sodium vs other pot pie brands. The chicken is also a much higher quality than other brands
prob cost more but worth it and I will try it

Trippe, I think you'd really like a Marie Callender's Chicken pot pie instead. Though it is a bit pricier. It's bigger and has more filling.

You should be hooked up with a Banquet Letterman Jacket for how soupy that pie is. You need a chunky silky pie, not a soupy one.
There's a brand called Amy's I believe is pretty good. Pricier but more natural maybe more chunks

Well banquet pot pies are great Marie callender's has them beaten in this department but you're also going to pay a premium for it as well
I would say give Marie Callendar's pot pies a try. They're my favorite when I just want something quick and easy. Specifically the Cheesy Chicken & Bacon, the Creamy Parmesan Chicken, or their Beef pot pie when I'm wanting to switch it up. They're larger and definitely more filling. Also not so watery, at least when I've had em. In fact I'd say they're quite thick and hearty. Like stick to your ribs thick. 😂

Very unhealthy because of the ingredients as well as the fact you cook it in a plastic-lined paper container which leaches into the food.
