@@WhatMeikeMakes You welcome.
You look 👀 amazing 🤩, I did wonder about the groove in the front, 😂, and how you are going to put the boards in, ❤😂, and screwing them from behind is a great idea, 😂, I did watch it again to see how you were positioning things, But it all happened too quickly, so I decided to play in slow motion😂😂😂😂❤, oh wow, 😮 . 🚇🚣🍾🍌🍆🍓🫒🍌 here is some pieces of fruit you could use to start your compost Off, I look forward to coming and watching your work again again, ❤😂
How amazing!! The compost is lovely too!! ❤

Great job on the compost bins Meike! That will give you an endless supply of garden fertilizer for years to come! Now you gave me another project for my list of builds.
Love to add more to that list weekly 😉 Thanks for watching!

Great work! Seems too Easy, but takes some time do it well, thanks for the inspiration! ;)
Thanks for watching Sony!
Love the video Meike
Thank you Elza!
Another awesome project, Meike 😊you've built so many things that I want to try, and this is an especially great idea to compliment the raised flower beds you made recently 😃Also, I was very impressed when you "hulked out" to lift the structure back into place 🤣
Thanks for watching! Glad you like the project and I can give you some inspiration. 💪😉
Grate looking bin Meike and classic line lol 🚁 always my favorite Friday video creator 💃🔨🪚🚁🤓
Glad you enjoyed it Darren! Thanks for watching
Happy Friday. Have the best weekend!
Same to you!
Pretty neat.
Thank you!
LOL @get to the choppa, now! 😆🤣
I’ll be back 💪

Magnífico contenedor para composta. Lo haces ver tan sencillo de hacer, pero la realidad es que se requiere de bastante trabajo 💪🏻.
Saludos hermosa artista 🖐🏼❤️
Thank you for watching, glad you enjoyed !
So schön und attraktiv, wie immer ❤❤❤💋
Danke Bruno!
Nice job Meike.. I always enjoy your projects. I see the wildlife preserve is coming along. Hope you have a great weekend
Yes, Its coming along slowly 😊😉
@@WhatMeikeMakes It takes time, Love.. Do it in your own time, and then it will be how you like it❤😉
We finally had a bicep flex in the last video, thank you Meike 💜
💪😉
It was really nice to watch. I never could figure out what you were building.
The good thing about TH-cam - you can watch it over and over and over again. Might discover something new every time 😉
I'd like to see you make some Southwest Style furniture, that's my favorite type of furniture. I'd also like to see you in person. 😘
😊

I’m volunteering to be your personal “sawdust wiper offer”!
Great project!
Haha, 👍😊💃
Wow... a very nice job...
Congratulations from Brazil
Thank you very much!
You jumping at the end cracked me up!😅
😊 Well thanks for watching to the end 😉
The best you are!

You will get a lot of use out of that bin . good one .
Thank you! Glad you like my built
Very very nice 👏👏
Thanks a lot
Nice work meike looking very beautiful I like the joke get to the Choppa the predator one of my favorite movies 😂
Glad you enjoyed that part Marcus. Thanks for watching
Beautiful Mieke.
Thank you Jack! 😊
Todo lo haces hermoso muy útil besos ❤
That’s so sweet of you. Thank you
Great bin. I think you are going to be surprised at the number of critters that will be attracted to the compost. You may have made it hard for them to get "in" but they will be getting in the building behind it if you aren't careful.
Well critters are everywhere here unfortunately but I try to keep them under control as good as I can. As long as I keep the compost healthy, critters won’t be too attracted to a hot compost pile 👍

@@WhatMeikeMakes I'd have relocated it to a spot away from where I was going to be working or living....Still love watching you build stuff!
Danke Rudi! Schoen das Dir mein Project gefaellt! Liebe Gruesse!
Atta Girl!!! I need your motivation. 💪😃
Yay! Thank you! Always motivated to improve the homestead
My favorite handywoman 😊
Thanks for watching
German perfection. Show me your bloopers so I can feel less guilty about my constant errors 🙏
Awe, you are too sweet 😊
Man. Your sanding techniques! Again my most hated part of all my projects. I could use your help though. I need to sand down one of my cars for paint.
I get it and I used to feel the same way, until I started to try to make it fun by putting on some music and dancing. Not a good dancer or anything. Just having fun.💃😊 I've never sanded down a car sounds like a lot of work. Wish you all the best
Meikenator. A new meaning to "I'll be back".
Haha love it 🤣👍💪
Hi Meike, i get distracted looking at you, you are a very talented lady, great work
Thanks for watching!
You need to make a small lean-to for those tractor attachments
Absolutely, I agree 👍
Ladies who can build > everything
😊💪
That’s a LOT of WORK!
Yes and lot of fun!
Passt wie angegossen 👍
Ja gell 👍
Hallo Meike Danke für das super Video 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍👍👍😘😘😘😘😘😘
Danke!
I like that project.
Does FL have raccoons? If so, just having a hinged lid won't keep them out. Maybe they don't want to live where there are alligators and boas.
With summer coming up, it might be good to think about the tires on your equipment. If your tractor and mower are living outside, it might be good to buy or make some sort of covers for the tires. It might be best to have covers for the whole vehicle. I'm sure the summer sun won't be good for the seats and paint either.
Yes, I have a few racoons on my property. They have left the compost alone so far since there isn't much in there that they like. But they can't stay out of my trashcan...
I'd love to build a structure for my equipment. Just need to be with time since I have to save up some before I can afford this. But it's definitely on the Wishlist.
Have a peaceful weekend Meike 🤗. 🌲Tschüss
Hope you are having a great weekend yourself!

Thank you, it’s been good so far. Saving some money for a trip this summer. Finally.
Nice work, that is a good idea
Thanks 👍Glad you like my built!
looks like a fun project!
Yes, it was a lot of fun to build. But then again, I always try to have fun with any build😊
Servus Meike. Eine klasse Idee, die ich auf jeden Fall in die Tat umsetzen werde. Was ganz anderes ... Deine Klamotten ... mein lieber Herr Gesangsverein ... ganz schön gewagt 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁
I like the removable slat idea, my plastic drum composters are about at the end of their lifespan so I might do a similar upgrade like this bin. I didn't realize how acidic compost tea is and it corroded all the metal hardware. CTea is outstanding for the garden if you have never used it. Your mesh size looks good for the south as you do want it big enough for soldier flies to get in there and breed. The little larvae are weird looking but they enrich the compost like earthworms do and they make good food for other critters like mockingbirds if you have feeders up or chickens. When making mesh cages for my lizards, I ran across an issue of the mesh fraying around the staples and coming loose. You can buy small, cheap strips of wood called furring that you can use to make a frame around the edges of the mesh to hold them tight in case you notice that occurring. I even used a bead of construction adhesive but that might be overkill which is how I roll. Have fun composting, if that's a thing!
Thank you for your comment. I have used and still use compost tea around the garden! Never used it in my composter. I used to have a plastic rotating one a while ago. I always forgot to add the water and the Bin never made me fully finished compost, so that’s a better way for me 👍 best wishes
@@WhatMeikeMakes I didn't use tea in my composted, I collected it from my composted since it was designed to have a drain. I wasn't very clear on that lol.
I think you're the only person I've ever seen take the drudgery out of sanding
👍😊💃
Nice work! 👍
Thanks! 👍
Hey Meike 'so fine'. Consider constructing an earth worm chamber, they may look grotesque but are great composters. Also a good source of nutrition for poultry and fish, when the chicken shed and fish tank are added.
I love red wrigglers. I had them a while back and they did a great job creating worm castings. 🪱
Hello Ms Meike good job well done, you look good as well
Thank you so much
Dang. Don't know which is better, tight tops or loose fitting tops!!!
👍😊 that’s why I switch it up 😜
Critters will get in underneath the bottom piece on each end between the cinder blocks. Tons of room there for raccoons and rats to dig in.
I closed up the sides and the front and back completely since. No getting into this one 👍
4:56 She knows it's a very good structure.
Yeah.
Too
good.
Thanks for watching 👍
@@WhatMeikeMakes
Yeah.
I cannot really
watch it.
It is too good.
:)
Another great project by a very beautiful talented lady ❤❤❤Meike
Thanks a lot Jim!!
That's a rather clever build. I like the attention to detail you built in by having the screws fastening the wood for the slats facing in-board. I wouldn't have thought of that!
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed the video
Topical for me; need to make these. Did you draw it up on some 3D program first Meike? Or was it straight from your head? Look awesome!
Thank you so much Tony. I just built it from my head. I'm not that good with those 3D programs. Takes so long to create anything. I rather just start building
Good fantastic 😙😘😚
Thanks 🤗
I haven't learned a single thing by watching this video!
Ok... 👍
💗💗💗
😊
You're not kidding about a squirrel brain..lol
🤣💪🐿️
A fine assed carpenter. I have no other rebuttals. I can think of some innuendos
❤
😊
As if we didn't already love you... "Get to tha choppa!!"
😊🤣 Glad you enjoyed that part
Bonjour Meike. Olivier.
Thank you for stopping by every Friday. The large compost bin setup is needed since I’m planning on growing many vegetables 🥕 🥕 have a great weekend
I have worked with a lot of carpenters but I have never seen work pants like those. Are they Car hart’s?
Nice job Meka👍
Those are pants from a well know gym clothing brand. I like to wear gym clothes all day. It's the best. They have different thicknesses of material depending on what job you working on it the workshop. 👍

thirst trap thumbnails for the drooling gentlemen of the internet work like a charm ! kinda getting old but that's just me
A women in Legging and Long sleeve workout shirt... Well, I guess it brought you here... 🤔 either way, thanks for stopping by Mr. Drooling Gentlemen.
Worth a like just for the "get to the chopper" Arnie impression 😁
'screw your freedoms' - the austrian. btw. beautiful women are beautiful. nice project. what do you do with the compost and have you thought about them biogas reactor thingies?
Hey Maike. Super Kompostierer. Einfach gebaut, aber sehr praktisch. Muß das Holz noch speziell behandelt werden? Wegen der Feuchtigkeit. Deine Arbeitsoutfits und dein süßes Lächeln wieder einmal Mega schön. Bis zum nächsten Video🌹😘🌹
Your almostZZZ las good with your wood as good as j am
Looks like you are loosing weight, not that you were ever fat, just noticing a difference. Nice work, i like the build.
Those leggings are tighter than OJ's glove LOL
Well, they do fit very well👍
Mi flaca chula 😘
👍
Only 720 resolution?
I don't know what went wrong. I uploaded it in 4k, like usual. But somewhere that did not translate...
German Goddess ❤
😊
I think the pants you are wearing are not necessary, it is better not to wear anything at all
I'm with you, and that there shouldn't be anything wrong with that, although I guess she didn't want to deal with age restriction content.
I have been a carpenter for 25 years and I have never been a carpenter like this throughout my career. If I had had such a helper, I would never have been able to deliver the work 😊
Nothin at all nothing at all
The guy who invented those pants needs some sort of award lol
Nice crack
Hi my princess.i love you so much
Thank you!! 😊
I dont get it. I thought a compost bin has a botton entry point to harvest the compost out as you fill it from the top??? And the size is massive. Is there a bbq party coming we didn't get invited to??? J/k great build but too big for urban city folk
Hey Kevin, To make compost you actually have to keep rotating it to aerate the materials to create compost. I've seen a few with a bottom opening but I don't think they work well and if you don't introduce oxygen to it can start to mold and stink. You don't need to build 3 compartments. My grandma lived in the city and she had only one compartment in her backyard. Every few days she went outside and rotated/mixed the materials to get compost fast.
