thanks! great video. Whats the difference between clp 885 and 875. I did a comparison at the Yamaha website and the specs are practically identical but the 885 is a lot more money! I watched your video on the 875 also both sound great i think, trying to decide which one to get
Hello, There is a huge difference in the keyboard action from the CLP875 TO CLP885. The CLP885 has additional 'counter weights' on each key to react faster and more accurately to a grand piano. There are additional voices in the CLP885 too, but more significantly the speakers are vastly better on the CLP885 with 'Spruce cone' speakers. This improves the sounds of the piano entirely. So, in basic terms, it has a faster more responsive action more accurate to a grand piano with a much better sounds and speaker system and more sounds. Basically, buy the CLP885 its worth every penny more I think. Here is a link to make your purchase www.rimmersmusic.co.uk/search/clp885 All the best Graham Rimmers Music - 'The Piano People'
The 885 is out of my reach. I’m between 875 and CA901. Which one should I pick? (never played before, want to learn: CSPs are not available). Thanks for the advice.
@@pranavjayaprakasanut Hahah, do you even play piano? I think you don't have good hearing, get it checked or you probably have all the wax between your ears instead of inside your ears.
@@pranavjayaprakasanut I don't think you play piano, so please don't comment on these kinds of videos. I think you have wax clogging up your brains. Get it checked.
I just bought a brand new Kawai GL40 Grand piano and I love it but I live in a small Aprtment and I would like to get a very high quality digital as well to play at night. Would you choose the Kawai CA901 or this Yamaha CLP885? Thank you
You, my friend, can play
What piece is played at the very beginning
Nice sound 😊
I think it is too :) The Yamaha CLP-885 is a great digital piano
