The older members really did raise him and take care of him. He would get homesick and would cry missing his parents in the very beginning, the other members like JHope would console him. They were also broke in the early days so Jin would often cook their meals, and I know Suga and Jhope both got part time jobs like delivery jobs or currier service jobs all while doing 10 to 14 hr days training as a group.
One of the reason I respect BTS is their humility. Treating each other with respect. Every man has pride they uphold, it's just a matter of how you step back. For BTS, they learned to adjust to each other , respecting each. When arguments arises, it's just a matter of stepping back a little. And they know it. I think this kids matured fast and their hearts are on the right place. Being an army, realizing this is such a blessing to know that I stan a wonderful, once in a lifetime group. I felt proud. 💜👏💜👏

They have not had more than a few days to themselves since they debuted, so this is their first true vacation, where they can spend a decent amount of time with their families, in many many years. It's why Jungkook has said that the boys raised him. At the age of 14, he left his family home, moved to Seoul, and joined them, and was essentially raised by the other members.
