"Lüften" is certainly not a strickly German thing. Here in Denmark we do it as well. We call it "lufte ud" which translates directly to "lüften aus". Open the windows for 10-30 minutes a couple of times a day or when you need it. Except in during summer, where the windows are often open 24 hours a day. Then you can spend the evening running around your house to catch mosquitos and moths - a great summer activity 😜
I am not sure if you are joking about having to catch mosquitoes and bugs in the evening after having your windows open all day or you really do not have screens in your windows! 😂

Very nice stream. Incidentally Javnaðarflokkurin is faroese, it's the name for the socialdemocrats party, linguistically you could prick it apart as Javnaðar "the even/common man" and flokkurin "the flock".
So I just watched a completely different stream but had the same problem. Reloading did not solve it but when I logged out of my account I could see the comments and also on mobile when logged in. the browser did not matter. It seems to be a known problem, I have found several people asking but no real answer...

Great live stream! Sadly I was not able to see the chat, only the empty box. Has anybody got an idea what went wrong for me?
I've experienced the same issue perhaps.
I was late to this stream, but when that happened on other streams, reloading the page once or twice usually helped.
