Some extra points to add onto that, without the Booster and SI you're only invincible for half the attack of barrage. And Barrage is a stunner skill without the stun icon. (Along with half of every other attacks pirates get.)
@b12oken it's about timing, if you happen to be barraging just as they release an attack, the attack won't be cancelled. If you barrage any monster without touching it first AND killing it, it won't do anything for a few seconds. Try that.

No, sorry i got the names confused. The skill I'm talking about is the new buccaneer lazer skill. That skill is literally copide and pasted from mechs. Just saying, but we're talking about after justice patch. hence the future tense in my original comment.
I suppose you've never heard of Energy Blast. Nexon literally copy and pasted that skill from mechanics and tweaked its animation a little. Gameplay wise, mechs and buccs are practically the same job.
energy blast requires to be charged up and not only that. they are kinda like dual Blades that require alot of moment to not get hit and to stay invisible. i believe that u haven't played on buccs and haven't done ur research
