ASOT has been so good lately. The track selections are awesome and they’ve cut back on the corny vocal tracks. Great guest mixes too. I’ve been a trance head and Armin fan for 25 years and am absolutely loving all these “dirty” (as Ferry would say) techno sounds in the trance scene now. The recent evolution of trance has been excellent. Kudos to Armin, Ruben, and the team for their hard work. ASOT has never been better. Request: would love to see Anyma do a guest mix one day. Am I wrong to still be stuck in the 1998-2008 magical trance era with its distinct sounds and not liking the bigroom edm stuff? When I look at the old tiesto with his massive concerts I ask myself where those times have gone... Stuff like Sensation White Tiesto in concert 2002 2004 2006 These kind of things. That was trance
everything changes. by choosing to be stuck in an era of trance, you are limiting your own trance experience 😅 I understand that the older music is really good, (or rather only the good ones stood out after years, so you think the old music is always better). but if the current sound doesn't fit your taste, best to just find a new genre 😊
