Great vid. In complete agreement as Blues Brothers is my favorite comedy. It’s has the best over the top scenes like the final chase along with great small recurring bits like “they broke my watch”.
DIU: **purposely chosen to adapt to live action as it's set in an average Japanese bedroom town and won't be an issue of budget to shoot on location domestically** Miike probably: _FUCK YOU. WE SHOOTIN' IN BARCELONA. I LOVE BARCELONA._
Hate to burst your bubble but... That isn't John Belushi's grave, it's his parents'. The inscription is a cenotaph. Belushi is buried at Abel's Hill on Martha's Vineyard marked by skull and crossbones. _"I may be gone but Rock and Roll lives on."_
Well, considering John is now buried in an unmarked plot, and no one outside of his wife, her brother, and the town know where it is, this may be the best place to go to pay respects...
You were expecting more JoJo and anime content but it was I, THE BLUES BROTHERS Aside from that, you have great taste in movies if The Blues Brothers is your favorite
Great video - John is not buried in Chicago, he's buried on Martha's Vineyard. Also these were not SNL characters, these were characters that John and Dan made up off stage and brought on as the musical guests so that NBC couldn't own them. Smart lads.
I'm so glad that someone made this video, especially considering it was Shuck. The Blues Brothers is undoubtedly a criminally underrated master piece in modern day.
Alright Shuck I'll watch it. You've convinced me. Edit: What do you mean JOJO RABBIT IS WORST JOJO? Its definitely better than Jojo siwa I tell you that.
Being from Joliet and having the film play a big part of our town's culture (prison was filmed here), the film is important to me. There's also a decent amount of tourists going to Elwood cemetery, it's amazing to see people from around the world come to an old river town to experience the blues and route 66 vibes.
Dawn of 2023 A box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch looks at me through its cardboard Ray-Bans and raises one eyebrow. I almost went looking for its little hat. That's how immortal the aestheic of the Blues Brothers is 😅
This was a loving talk about one of my favourite movies. You did it justice and then some, and i am glad others can enjoy this film not for the laughs but for it's power. Keep up the good work, have a nice day and don't falter.
I only saw this movie for the first time recently and my favourite thing about is the escalation. It starts oh haha funny then by the end it's like the movie itself took crack cocaine and ever since watching it I just want to say "we're on a mission from God". Also please do more videos on other things that interest you if that's what makes you happy. Not too long ago I had someone tell me "make what ever videos you want, that's how it works on my channel." And I think that's good advice. P.S. I hope you feel better real soon and that you're keeping yourself, your friends and family safe
I always felt that this is the best accessible work of John Belushi. Was not old enough to witness his live work at Second City etc ... in terms of Belushi's work in television and film, this one is timeless. It is bonkers in its own, unique way.
Too bad many of us won't see this because it isn't a JoJo vid. Great video m8, movies are my passion and I always like to listen when someone (no matter who) talks about them with such passion
"...also probably because my audience is entirely children." As a 20-something with a deep connection to this movie you've gotten an instant sub from me & I'm only a minute into the video
This is definitely one of my favorite movies of all time. As someone who lives close to sweet home Chicago, this film perfectly hits home to me. John Bellucci and Dan Aykroyd make this film work. They were perfect together in this masterpiece. This was one of my dad's favorite movies and I always remember him when I watch this film. This film will always be apart of my life forever and ever. This film is my a classic
I know you get a lot of stupid "oNlY jOjo, nOtHiNg eLsE" comments, but I truly love when you branch off into other stuff that you like. Its a nice change of pace.
Dan is a totally different animal than most people who are supposedly insane because he's crazy in an awesome way and his insane lore-building skills are different unrivalled.
I just finished the video and I can assure you I'll stick with your videos shuck no matter what they're about. I mean I watched your Konosuba video after all. And I'm not just saying this cause your my boss. I genuinely find your content and format to be engaging in a way I rarely find on TH-cam. Hope you get better soon! -The Horny Mod
Rest assured, 95% of this video was done before I had the virus.
Also, I need a new mic... desperately...
Where is the lego movie shuck
Good luck

Great vid. In complete agreement as Blues Brothers is my favorite comedy. It’s has the best over the top scenes like the final chase along with great small recurring bits like “they broke my watch”.
Well, you made me watch all of this video wearing a mask, I wish I had read this first. Rest and get well soon, Shuck!
Voters: *picks the Lego Movie*
Shuck: Ya like *blues?*
I think you mean MOODY BLUES
@HAMZA BIN BUDI MAWARDI Moe I think you mean MOODY JAZZ
Can we talk about his creative pfp and name
Shuck was on a mission from God for this video
I feel like The Blues Brothers is the only movie that has ludicrous level action in it, yet remains a comedy overall in the end
It's awesome how you are right, but there are none of what we would think of now as action scenes - gunfights, punch-ups, etc.
@@seanwardyou forgot about jakes wife(played by Carrie Fisher)
Next you have to make: “The Live Action Diamond is Unbreakable is a Movie that Exists.”

I actually happen to live nearby his widow and I believe he actually is buried on Martha’s Vineyard so
It's my absolute favorite as well. Every time I watch it I feel the fun that the cast and crew had making it.
Wait a minute this isn’t the LEGO movie
LEGO movie life action
it is , from a certain point of view

Ah yes, everyone in this world is made out of small pixels
He actually made this vid nice
You gotta respect a man that talks with so much passion of something he loves

Me being a young kid and my dad being from Chicago around this time and he told me everything about the setting of the movie. I love this movie
I'm glad you picked the video that I voted for
Blues Brothers forever
Fun fact: Steven Spielberg cameos near the end as the guy in the office near the end of the film
Blues Brothers. It just so happens to be my favorite movie of all time.
*we’re on a mission from god*
My dad showed me this movie last week
This was a pleasant surprise. It just so happens that the Blues Brothers is my favourite movie and the greatest Christian movie of all time as well.
Someone did it
They talked about this classic in 2020
Thank you shuck.
I can't thank you enough, because NOBODY else does
When I saw that thumbnail and the title, right then I knew this day was gonna turn for the better. Thank you for this.
The Blues Brothers is one of those strange and not often talked about gems like The Fifth Element.
It has aged like fine wine 😎
Real talk, I'm grateful that Shuck made this vid because this movie is great and more people will get to know it
I had to do a parody of Soul Man for my school, so this is a really cool notification to see lol

I love the blues brothers
