I watched this video when it came out and really enjoyed it, but coming back to say that I am surprised (and maybe a little disappointed) to see that Tribbie is more analogous to Mobius now with the additional information we have now (Tribbie's divine authority being gate of infinity, them sharing a cn va, I even saw a comparison of Mobius' summon to Tribbie) I think everyone was surprised by this one, but we were speculating with next to nothing lol.
I LOVE!! WHEN people point out connections between the games. Its something really huge but a lot of ppl dont recognize because they dont play all 3 games or maybe even only one. Thank u for sharing the video.
When Pardo expy came in It was oh yes... then Kebin expy came out it was: they are doing it. Then Cyrene/Ely came out Pink Jesus is back. I will never financially recover after this.

also want to add that the female hand placing a chess piece could also be a reference to an unnamed lord ravager. one of the readables on the luofu called "list of archenemies" describes them as akin to a chess grandmaster. star rail has been slowly and quietly cooking up the nanook plotline.
Not trying to come at you by any means since you are by far not the first person I've seen to voice this theory so don't take this the wrong way, but why would a company want to do a collab with another game when the character they insert goes by a completely different name and has a different appearance? The whole draw of a collaboration is to insert the actual character into another IP and interact with the character of that IP. When Genshin had a collab with Horizon Zero Dawn, we literally just got Aloy. In the HI3 and NGE collab, we got Asuka. HI3 and HSR, we got Sparkle. People who like Fate aren't going to be as excited for "guy who kinda looks and acts like a Fate character" as they are about the Actual Fate character. So Mydei being Gilgamesh is extremely unlikely from a business standpoint, as well as taking HYV's history with collabs into account.
@@hollow-point0 that's very interesting, i haven't thought about it that way. however why would they make him so similar to gilgamesh from a design standpoint? the tattoos, the necklace, the golden armour, the red capes. i assumed they'd treat fate characters like they treat their expys aka integrating them into their own world and story.
@@liv4110 It could just be a nod to him, as its not uncommon for ANY piece of media to have respectful homages to other beloved media within their own IP. But yeah that just isn't how collabs work- in hyv collabs, itll be an event period and then they'll be gone, like stopping on a planet and moving on, for instance. We also have to consider that Mydei will release within the next several months and the Fate collab isn't slated until 3rd quarter of 2025, which will be around the time that Amphoeus is either already wrapped up or is in the process of wrapping up, meaning that having a Fate character released significantly earlier than the collab release also doesn't make much sense. But no, collabs are not integrated into the larger story unless they are specifically a character within the hyv IP, bc collabs are only ever for a specific timeframe, not to mention how complicated it would be to have a returning character from another company entirely- it wouldn't be in the contract bc it would be a nightmare to account for reruns, continued story, etc etc.
